About: We have raised many dogs and treat them as family. We have worked with puppies and senior dogs and everything in between. We are familiar with providing meds as needed as well. I am currently working from home a few days a week and open weekends for ample time to spend with your pups. We also live right down from Little Mountain for hiking or walking along the trails, which is also conveniently located not more then 3 miles from I5 for quick drop off and pickup. I am available on all days of the week for boarding depending on the dog and owner with a meet and greet as I will be at the office Monday - Wednesday from 0730-400 and the dog would be alone at my home in the fenced in yard for the larger dogs or if small dog would be able to come to work with me. This is on a case by case basis. Contact me anytime if you have any questions. Dogs are treated as family in our home and have a comfy bed for day napping and plenty of room to move around. We play in the backyard, walk leashed on our property in the upper forested area and have access to the trails at Little Mountain Park for walks weather permitting.

About: I’ve taken care of my own, family, friends, and others dogs for more than 15 years. I am comfortable with small to large breeds, puppy to senior dogs. If your dog loves trail running, and gets a long with my dog, I’d be happy to bring them along for an adventure! I am currently working full time for the American Red Cross, and work fully from home Monday-Friday. My dog, Lily, and I go out for a morning run, afternoon walk, and evening walk every day. Your dog can join right in or I have flexibility to drop in you visit your dog too! I have a small fenced yard, and your dog and my furry friend can easily go in and out of the house at their leisure during the day.

“We bought a puppy in Dec of last year, we were still in AZ for 1 more month. Aarika fostered our puppy for a month. She sent videos every day, was always walking her as Kya (puppy) had a lot of energy. She was amazing with Kya, I have so many videos of her playing and training. We had a dog that passed a year before, so I knew this breed was high energy. We picked her up end of January. Aarika went through every thing she had taught her with hand signals. Sit, stay, wait, no. Kya did every one of them, I remember standing there shocked, Kya was perfect. She let us know when she needed to go out, so Aarika taught her that as well! Since Kya was 4 mo when we went home to San Juan Island, WA. Not once and mean not once did Kya ever have an accident in home to this day, she’s over a year old now. I credit Aarika for it all. She has so much patience with animals, it was a miracle as I didn’t train my first dog that well till she was 2+ years. So Aarika is phenomenal with animals, they are all attracted to her as they sense her calmness. If we weren’t now in AZ I wouldn’t hesitate to have Kya stay with Aarika as I know she’ll come back better than when we left her. She’s amazing and would be a perfect dog sitter❤️🐾🐾🐾”
