About: We have raised many dogs and treat them as family. We have worked with puppies and senior dogs and everything in between. We are familiar with providing meds as needed as well. I work full time in Construction Management but I am currently working from home a few days a week and open weekends for ample time to spend with your pups. We also host a Sniffspot private dog park for rent out on our property that we can take walks on in between bookings and live right down from Little Mountain Park for hiking or walking along the trails. We also live conveniently located 3 miles from I-5 for quick drop off and pickup off the freeway. I am available on all days of the week for boarding depending on the dog and owner with a meet and greet as I will be at the office Monday - Wednesday from 0730-400 and the dog would be with my at my office which sits on multiple acres with walks every 2 hours. We had cats and dogs while I was growing up and it was part of my daily routine to care for those animals. As of today, I own a Golden Retriever who I trained from the moment I got him at 4 months old. He was a handful at first since his previous owner didn't have the time for him. I am pretty good at reading dogs and knowing what they must be thinking or feeling. I observe them and see if there is any change to their behavior that I should ever be concerned about as well. About: I've had dogs my entire life and love them more than anything! I have lots of experience, 20+ years and have been doing Rover on and off for 12 years now and have also been pet sitting for multiple different repeat clients for the past 15 years. I have taken care of many pets with special needs as well, including cats. We have the sweetest 4 year old 14lb Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves making doggy friends of all sizes. They will never be left alone for a long period of time and will have lots of outside time if they enjoy that! We have a large fenced in yard. As a school bus driver, I work 6-10 AM, then have few hours break and go back to my afternoon drive 2-6 PM. To ensure proper care for animals, I like to book clients no further than a 30 min drive from Sedro Woolley. Please take this into consideration when looking at a sitter for your pets! The school year ends June 12th and I am available until mid-July. Afterwards, I am taking time off for my own motorcycle travels (this time to Colorado) and then spend August in Europe :) I have owned cats, large dogs (100 + lbs), and horses over the years, so I'm well-versed in handling a variety of pet needs. I am comfortable around animals and can stand my ground with them. I enjoy large breeds and, having two 150Lbs + dogs before I know how hard it is to find someone to take care of them! I am available for short and long term stays in Whatcom and Skagit counties. Dogs, cats, horses, turtles and fish - all welcomed and loved! I work as a school bus driver, so I leave the house early in the morning for few hours, then have 2-4 hrs off and then drive the kids home in the afternoon, usually 2-6 pm. If this is something that will work for you and your pet family, please reach out! I usually do a greet & meet before to make sure that everyone is comfortable! I will follow the directions you give me, be it giving medication to your pets, putting it in the crate at night or when away and any other rules that you may have.

About: i have been a dog dad for over 5 years to Cooper and Nova who get along great with others! i just want to provide a safe, comfortable space for pets when they need to be looked after. i live in a home with a fenced in backyard, and am just a short walk to a spacious dog park. i look forward to caring for dogs of all kinds as if they were my own. i am currently working full time with a flexible schedule, but either me or my wife will be home during the day to provide plenty of time to play with, and care for, all pets. i will also be sure to send pictures or videos as often as possible! i have a fenced in yard as well as a stand-alone baby gate if your pets prefer to be contained when i leave the house. for home drop- ins i will care for your pets per your instruction.
