“In November my previous Rover pet-sitter found full-time employment so I needed to find a new sitter for my amazing cat Huckleberry and quickly because my husband and I would be traveling over Christmas week. About: I Work nights! I am off Thursday and Friday nights. I've rasied my 80lb. Female dog from when she was 4 weeks old to about 6 years. I'm very active and love to take my dog out for runs. Very disciplined and have taught my big girl to behave politely in NYC. I've taken care of huskies and smaller dogs like chihuahuas and poodles for neighbors as well! I work overnights and just moved to an Tamnersville. I would love to walk or just spend time with a dog. My dog is home on staten island with family and I miss spending time with dogs so much! I have worked with rescue and foster dogs for the past six years, caring for a wide range of behavioral issues, medical problems and physical therapy, as well as severe separation anxiety. If your dog is shy or aggressive around new people, or a rescue who may need some extra support—I’m the pet sitter for you! I currently work part time, so I will have plenty of time to look after your pets! I do have reliable transport from the heart of Woodstock to the surrounding area so I’m happy to make a bit of a drive to reach you, even just for drop-ins or walks. My partner is unfortunately allergic to furry friends, so I get my fill of dogs through pet-sitting as much as possible! I approach each dog gently and slowly, attending to each dog’s unique personality and behavioral/medical requirements. I’d love the opportunity to make your dog feel comfortable while you’re away! My philosophy regarding anxiety in dogs is to mimic their regular routine as much as possible.
