About: I’ve always had pets throughout my lifetime from kitties, dogs, birds, fish, reptiles, squirrels that I hand fed and set free with my father- and many more. About: I have always been an animal lover. As a kid, I had a guinea pig and a dog, and I spent a lot of my time at a farm, riding and caring for horses. Aside from taking care of my family dog, I have looked after the pets of friends and acquaintances. I have experience with both dogs and cats. I have volunteered in animal shelters and sanctuaries, and previously worked with a dog groomer, bathing and drying dogs. I work a part-time 11am-5pm job, mostly on weekends, along with some special events. I have quite a bit of flexibility with my schedule, so I can arrange it to fit with other responsibilities, such as pet sitting needs! I have a fenced yard, perfect for playing! I currently do not have any pets. I love to provide pets with the entertainment exercise they need, and I'm always happy to give cuddles if your pet likes physical affection, or space if they prefer to keep some distance.

About: My specialty is caring for small dogs. I've been a three-time pug owner and trusted by friends and family with their pets for over 20 years. I provide reliable, compassionate care as if they were my own pet. I work as consultant from home and routinely offer pet care Fridays-Sundays, but try to be flexible. Pets can make themselves at home but I will be sure to cater to your rules and pets' routine. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and can administer medication. While not advertised on Rover, I can care for docile cats. Photos and video updates of your fur babies will be sent daily. I provide a safe environment in my uncluttered and spacious apartment - ideal for doggie beds, crates and toys. I make sure dogs cannot get into cabinets, garbage or near electrical outlets. I make sure water bowls are filled at all times. I live directly across the street from a beautiful city park popular with dog owners and ideal for walks.

About: I currently own an amazing certified Good Boy Austalian Cattle Dog and two snuggly cats. I have have always owned at least one pet, both cats and dogs since I was little. I have done a decent amount of pet sitting for neighbors and friends. I have even had to give oral meds to one dog I dog sat. If you have any questions, please ask! Dogs will always get at least a 15 minutes walk because my dog usually needs a longer one. I sometimes give my cats and dog breakfast and then usually give the dog a quick 15 walk in the morning before leaving for work at 7:30 am. I get back home around 3:00 pm and usually give my dog his actual long walk between 40 and 70 minutes depending on weather. I feed the animals and then have dinner and usually just relax and snuggle on the couch with at least one of the fur kids. I fit in other cleaning and what not in there but I always make it a point to walk my doggo and make sure they get snuggles since I am gone for a good portion of the day. I have room for a crate for a crate trained dog. I have a moderately sized backyard that is well fenced in. My dog is a counter surfer so we have baby gates for both the kitchen and the extra bedroom. The extra bedroom serves as the cat room so the cats have a dedicated space. Stuff can be adjusted if you have a cat not used to dogs, so they can have that entire room or vice versa our cats can go in there for a dog that is not cat friendly. We only live five minutes from Marbletown Animal Hospital of any emergencies arise needing urgent care if your vet is not available.

“Cristian went above and beyond to make sure i felt 100% comfortable while i was boarding my pit mix Nala for 11 days for the first time. Nala even sadly got a pretty severe UTI during her stay and Cristian was so on top of it with photos, concern, and ended up even taking her to the vet for me and getting the care she needed. Even with a 6hr time change he managed to keep up with great communication and updates throughout the stay. I truly couldn’t be happier with my experience. About: I'm willing and ready to provide walks for as long as your dog wants (or as long as you specify is okay). I am extremely patient and try to stay aware and vigilant of dog needs. I've volunteered walking dogs for a nonprofit called Paws in NY. I have experience walking large breeds, small breeds, those who protest, those who lead the way, those who go wherever, etc, and I love hanging out with them all. I'm also experienced in taking care of cats, I've had/have two. I really love animals, and also realize they can't really outwardly speak to us so, I try to read signs they give me as well as possible so, they can be happy, and I believe I'm usually successful. I work very close to home so I’m in and out of there constantly. I typically give long walks in the morning and evening and shorter walks/potty breaks throughout the day and at night for dogs. Cats get a lot of attention from me with feedings as instructed, cleaning litter 1x a day, lots of pets and snuggles (if that’s what they’re into, not required!) Pets are cared for inside the home. Dogs are walked properly leashed on the trails nearby. Doors are always closed/locked and we are very careful with this as we have pets of our own.
