Our current dog is a Pomeranian that acts more human than dog sometimes. I’m a current student at SCAD so classes take up most of my time, but on weekends and nights I am way more available to help out. About: I’ve had dogs in my home since I was 9 years old, from 2 month old puppies to senior dogs, and taking care of them has been the best part of my day! I like to focus on mental stimulation as well as physical with dogs so they have a sound mind and body. I’m familiar with crate training, and puppy care, including a solid understanding of training the basics. I’m used to energetic and fast-paced dogs but I love my older and more mellow dogs as well! I’ve pet sat my fair share of cats and feel comfortable with them too. My Australian shepherd and I just moved out to Lexington recently, but I’m excited to offer my services now including recurring dog walking :) let me know if you have any questions for me! I am a flight student so that is my biggest time commitment which is 4 hours 3-4x a week. I know my schedule far out and can adjust my other responsibilities such as coursework and caring for my own dog and any other that may be in my care. I am never gone for too long and making sure the dogs are doing well is a priority that’s extremely important to me. If there is a yard, that will be utilized to the fullest, but I will take full advantage of what the neighborhood has to offer for fun walks/providing sufficient daily stimulation for the dog. I’m always respectful of the home and the routine the dog had prior to their person being gone. I’m super communicative, especially if things happen that are out of the ordinary, but also when things are normal so you’ll won’t have to wonder too much how your baby is doing!
