About: I’ve had at least 1 dog living with me and my family since I was born, so I grew up helping take care of all our dogs throughout the years. Our current dog is a Pomeranian that acts more human than dog sometimes. I’m a current student at SCAD so classes take up most of my time, but on weekends and nights I am way more available to help out. I love animals so much, whether they be small fluffy little puppies, old yet dignified cats, or even reptilians just vibing in their own little spaces, I never want any animals to be upset or get hurt, so I’ll do whatever I can to make sure your pet receives the best care I can offer.

About: I have always been around cats but have enjoyed getting to know dogs for the past 15 years or so. In addition to interacting with my parents' dogs, I have also walked and cared for a number of dogs and cats over the past years for friends, family, and others. This has included pet-sitting (cats and dogs), daily walks (morning-afternoon-evenings and before bed), routine feeding, cleaning cat boxes, medicating with or without food, and providing company and assistance with a dog who was healing from an injury and needing to stay immobilized throughout the day. I am currently working part-time. My schedule allows for morning walks, possibly early afternoon walks, and dog-sitting during week-ends and occasionally during the week as well. I am happy to care for you pet at your home while you are away but am currently unable to have pets in my home. This often seems ideal as it tends to reduce stress since they don't have to adjust to a new location or be alone overnight.

About: I have lived with a variety of animals my whole life, and began regularly taking care of family and friends' dog and cats when I was 17. I am very attentive to the needs and body language of both dogs and cats, and adapt well to their unique behaviors and routines. I have experience with aloof/aggressive pets, senior pets, and young pets 6 months or older. I only work a couple days a week so I am comfortable with providing constant care to pets who cannot be left alone. About: I have been taking care of all sorts of animals since 12, 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 3 birds. Worked in multiple animal shelters, owner of service dog. I am currently a college athlete at Morehead state university so my week is quite limited but weekends are my available times and would love help to take care of your pet! I have a big car so plenty of room for big dogs if needed transported comfortably, personal suite, walkable parks right outside suite to stretch legs and to do business, many friends of your dog loves to socialize or quiet room with my own company in case they are shy.

About: I’ve been a go-to caretaker of pets for family, friends, and neighbors since a young age. Every animal is an individual with their own unique needs, motivations, things that bring them joy/comfort, and routines that support their wellbeing. I have experience with cats, dogs, rabbits, horses/mules, farm animals, and some parrots. Senior and medically complex pets are some of my favorite critters to care for, and with years of dog and cat rescue under my belt, I’ve provided direct care to some animals in dire situations with confidence. I trust my ability to handle emergencies should they arise and behave in a manner that is in line with modern best practices of care. Additionally I am a sport/working dog handler and very comfortable with high drive breeds like shepherds, collies, and heelers. My daily life is dedicated to the wellbeing of my personal animals. Their enrichment and comfort is an utmost priority. At least once a week I go on outings away from our 6 acre property to get the dogs in new places and work on their training/getting to do fun things (I.e. going to the river, training at big box stores, joining a friend for a meal at a restaurant or park). The dogs are trained several days a week but also allowed time to just be dogs and goof around. Our cats are indoor-outdoor and live full and social lives. Our rabbit is a house rabbit seasonally, meaning she’s outside when the weather is nice, and inside to hang with the cats in the winter. She gets grass time and lots of back porch time where she can be her wild self. I will maintain your pet’s routine to the best of my ability, and they will be cared for to their unique preferences depending on their needs, wants and daily rhythms. Frequent potty breaks or litter box cleanings, access to fresh water in clean bowls, checking bowel movements and keeping up with medications, play time, walks, maybe an outing if possible, and appropriate rest periods to promote balance and wellbeing. Dogs in my care are transported via safety crates (ruffland) to greater ensure safety should we get into an accident, this also prevents issues with any animals that might be escape artists or destructive when left unattended or get bored easily. I travel with first aid materials on hand and work closely with several local veterinary practices who provide varied levels of care, from minor cuts/scrapes, to emergency events.
