About: I have always loved animals, which was apparent pretty early on in my childhood. I was interested in learning everything I could about all different types of animals, and how to care for them. That passion has only grown over the years! I started as a volunteer at the local animal shelter when I was young, then in college I raised my own fur baby Mia. I took her to puppy obedience classes where they taught us how to train our own dogs. After she was grown, I started volunteering again at Gateway Area Humane Society. About: I've had at least four dogs as long as I can remember. As a child, they were my first companions and my second caretakers. Even as I grew into an adult, they were always there to comfort me and to brighten the darkest of days. Dogs hold a very special place in my heart and I am eager to give back what they so willingly give; love, acceptance, understanding, comfort, and joy. In the last two years, I have gone from four dogs to one, due to Cancer and Congestive Heart Failure, and I must admit that their absence has affected me deeply. I miss them so so so much!! I'm one of those people that celebrated their dog's birthdays and bought them copious presents for Christmas. While my friends were pulling out their family pics, I was always pulling out my dog pics. I share this same sentiment towards birds, rabbits, and cats; all of which I had growing up. Being surrounded by animals as a child was a great experience. It even prompted me to volunteer at the ASPCA for almost a year. About: When I was around four, I started to go across the street and cat-sit for this empty-nest couple. They were older, and so they wanted to travel more. The lady owned two cats, a Birman and an Oriental Shorthair. The lady used to take them to cat shows, and they were her most prized possession. They had grandkids to see and wanted to explore as many different countries as they could. They used to say, "Maggie, you are so convenient, and I am glad that you are here so we can leave and do things that we love more often." My mom never once told me to go and do my job. I woke up and was ready to go see Bootsy and Bella. They moved when I was 16, and I was their sitter until the day they left. I realized that for people to do the things they loved, they needed an easy, stress-free, and affordable sitter for their animals. Anyway, I started a show kennel for my Italian Greyhounds because of her, and now this is my full-time gig. I run a full-time boarding and daycare facility at my house. I am open for boarding and daycare 7 days a week. I own show dogs, and so I am home training and working on my websites while the dogs have multiple areas and an outdoor fenced area to play. I work on my computer for 3-5 hours a day and play with and walk the dogs while I rotate in between that. I take lots of pictures during the day and have an instagram that I post them on. The dogs rotate among the kitchen, the basement, and the outdoor enclosure. All dogs have access to water 24/7. The outdoor enclosure has a roof, and I run a fan when it is hot, in accordance with USDA guidelines. If the weather is bad, I walk the dogs or just let them play together in the basement or kitchen.

About: We came across the Cavapoo breed as our loving Rottweiler was on his journey to his “better place”. We chose the Cavapoo breed as our furry rainbow puppy to help us all with the tough loss. Fast fwd 5 years, and WOW, still can’t believe the journey that was created for us. Dog breeding, training, boarding and grooming just the way I would want my pups taken care of…in a home. Our setup is ready for all stages of dogs and of course, personalities. This is a small family business and we make pet care fit seamlessly into our lives. We’re a party of 4 and all hands are always on deck. 4:00 am wake up call during the week and 6:00 am on weekends. Caring for pets in our home can consist of taking your pets normal routine that’s already established and following it. Help keep your animal on a schedule of food timing to crate or bedroom boarding. We live in a neighborhood with a 6 foot privacy fenced in back yard. A 3,000 gallon Koi pond surrounded by 800 square feet of deck. Nice plush outdoor furniture for the dogs to lounge next to the pond after a drink. We have also built a 200 square foot doggie palace on our property. Full electricity with heating/air and additional ceiling fan. Great for rainy days or dogs who are lone rangers and/or feisty.
About: We've owned and cared for dogs for over 35 years. Our first dogs were a Lab and a Golden Retriever then a Pug and a Puggle and now the parents of a Lab/Husky mix. We provide loving care with plenty of exercise in our non-smoking, fenced home. We live one block from Jacobson Park and its wonderful dog parks so rest assured your fur baby will receive plenty of attention, exercise, fun and love during its stay. I work from home and my spouse is a stay at home spouse, so we are available to provide constant care, exercise, play time and supervision for your fur baby. About: I have always loved animals, which was apparent pretty early on in my childhood. I was interested in learning everything I could about all different types of animals, and how to care for them. That passion has only grown over the years! I started as a volunteer at the local animal shelter when I was young, then in college I raised my own fur baby Mia. I took her to puppy obedience classes where they taught us how to train our own dogs. After she was grown, I started volunteering again at Gateway Area Humane Society. There, I was involved with daily animal care, spay & neuter clinics, news interviews, and social events! Once I stopped volunteering, I started Kal’s Critter Care- my pet sitting business. I have done this for two years now, and have worked with multiple different types of animals! I’m currently doing my pet-sitting business full time! About: I have house/dog sit all throughout high school from small doodles to pitbull’s. I can provide many references as needed and have a Bernese mountain dog and Bernedoodle at home! I enjoy working with all different kinds of breeds and very flexible! I am a college student with classes, Tuesday morning, Wednesday evening and Thursday morning. Therefore, I am completely free Friday through Monday and I’m open to housesitting at your house or mine throughout the week. I am open to come by for walks or potty breaks in between my classes as well. I have a Bernie doodle at home that is very friendly and loves to play.
