“This is the absolute best thing I could've stumbled upon for my little dog-child Rupert! He absolutely LOVES it there, gets to play with new friends, goes for walks, and even sleeps in the bed! I worry that one time he is not going to want to come home with me! Thank you Ed for keeping him so happy, and making me feel better about leaving him behind some days!!!”
“I am a repeat customer of Jeanne’s. She always does a great job with my dog and communicates really well, always returning messages promptly and sending lots of pics. I appreciate her and will use her again!”
“Susan was a great sitter for our boy Loki!! Sent us updates and the atmosphere at her home helped Loki on his first stay away from his home. Will use her services again!!! Highly recommend!!!!”

About: Hi there! My name is Sage, and I’m passionate about caring for pets of all ages and needs. I have hands-on experience giving pills, shots, and other medications, as well as caring for both senior cats who need a little extra patience and love, and playful kittens and puppies. I’ve also helped with potty training for puppies and understand the unique attention that both young and elderly pets require. At home, I’m the proud owner of two cats who keep me on my toes and remind me every day why I love animals so much. My goal is always to provide the same level of care, comfort, and kindness to your pets as I do my own. I have evenings open to love on your pets! If you have a busy night planned or a late night at work, leave your pet in my hands! I know how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable in their own home. As a sitter, I provide respectful, reliable care that follows your pet’s normal routine, from feeding and playtime to medications and cuddles. Whether your pet is young, elderly, or needs special attention, I treat them with patience and love—just like my own two cats. I know my way around Mount Pleasant trails and parks when your pet needs to get some energy out!
“Kathy is a wonderful dogsitter! It’s always stressful leaving your furry friends behind, but Kathy takes the time to put you and your dogs at ease. She understands the importance of allowing your dog to go at their own pace and acclimate to their environment during the initial meet and greet and each subsequent visit. She never pushes dogs for interactions they aren’t ready for, which is especially important in my case as one of my dogs is fearful and easily stressed. Kathy also has a dog of her own - the tiniest, sweetest thing. Even my very shy dog doesn’t mind her. Overall, I’d say every experience I’ve had with Kathy has been excellent. She’s good with both dogs and people, she’s caring and easy to talk to, and I find her to be trustworthy and dependable. I’m very grateful to have found her!”

About: Hi! I am new to Rover, but caring for dogs is something my family truly loves. I have a friendly golden retriever named Stanley who absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—so hosting furry friends is a joy for all of us! I work from home most days, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My young kids also love having dogs around and are gentle, playful, and used to being around animals. I also have a cat in our home who is very comfortable around dogs—she and Stanley are great friends—so your pup should be cat-friendly or at least respectful of cats. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor playtime, and I treat every dog that stays with us like part of the family. Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, I will make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home. Since I’m just getting started on Rover, I’m excited to build relationships with both pets and their owners and provide a safe, trustworthy environment you can feel confident in. I currently work a hybrid schedule. I am home 2-3 days a week. We do have a fenced in yard and a doggy door. I have a fenced in yard and my animals are our family. They are welcome to lay where they are comfortable and shares the bed with me if needed.
“Our fur babies had a wonderful time with Maria and her family. We received countless pictures and messages throughout our 10 day trip that illustrated how happy and loved our dogs were. Maria even gave them baths just before we returned! We highly recommend Maria and will use her again.”

“Ashly was great! Very accommodating to our schedule and to our boy Hank. We had an enjoyable and relaxing get away knowing Hank was well taken care of! Highly recommend, and will definitely call Ashley again when we are in the area next summer!”
About: Bonafide Animal Lover! I grew up on a farm caring for many different animals & have always had either cats and/or dogs in my adult life. Most recent, I cared for our two adult male shepherds in all aspects - training, feeding, walking, nurturing and our two adult cats - training, feeding, activity and nurturing. My pets are part of my family & I will provide the same level of care to your pets as well! I am a semi-retired remote bookkeeper and empty nester therefore I am home most of the time and have plenty of time to do drop in visits, walking or boarding. My caution level for keeping my pets safe and well cared for is very high. They are part of my family. I focus on their daily feeding schedule, ensure the catbox is kept clean daily, play with them (laser pointer and feather toy) for their exercise, and provide lots of love and cuddles too. When I have our shepherds, I walk them daily and play fetch and tug of war with a ball or rope.
“Christina did a wonderful job with our dog! We are very happy, and would definitely hire her again! Our dog is 13 years old and has almost never spent a night away from home, so we were a little nervous. He stayed with Christina for 5 days and she cared for him so well! The daily texts from her were so nice and reassuring! She made it very easy for us and our dog! He must have been comfortable with Christina because he came home like he'd never left!”

“Stephanie was awesome. She took such good care of my boys. She sent me pics and kept me updated on their daily activities. Stephanie's house was very clean and her yard had designated potty areas. She has her own dog that is a total sweetheart and was very kind to my two dogs. You can tell that Stephanie knows dogs and how to take care of them. I will definitely use her again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Mount Pleasant
Schyler is such a godsend to me. When she first sat with Maggie, she was fearful of most everything, especially people. After taking her on walks and bringing other people into her orbit, she no longer feels so afraid. Maggie really enjoys the days and weeks she spends with Schyler because she knows she is loved.
