Availability
I am extremely fortunate that I was able to retire from full-time employment and am presently employed part-time during the spring, summer, and fall months. I have lots of free time, and I like to stay active w/ my pets. I am passionate about animal safety and welfare. In Michigan's non-sub zero weather, I love walking my dog and cats - in their stroller - to ensure they all get daily exercise, fresh air, and stimulation. My pets are my family, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Safety, trust & environment
I have two cats, Ginger & Lucy, and a dog named Purdy. Ginger & Lucy are indoor cats, and I have a stroller that they love to ride in on walks. My dog loves her walks in the park, woods, and playing at the dog park (when there are very few to no other dogs there). My dog is dog & cat friendly, although she is young and sometimes likes to play too rough for the kitties. We handle this with baby gates and bridges so the cats can still move around the house with ease.

Information Susan S. would like to know about your pet
It is very helpful to provide your animal(s) daily/nightly schedule, medicine (if needed), crate (when crate-trained), bed, favorite toys, and dishes. They will have less anxiety and worry, and more fun & relaxing while w/ me if I can provide what keeps them happy at home.
A typical day
It's been my experience that a 'tired dog is a well-behaved dog.' I enjoy taking dogs for walks, practice scent work, fetch, puzzles, and the occasional pup cup. I take my indoor cats for walks in their stroller, talk/cuddle them, play w/ them (laser pointer, fishing pole, balls, milk rings). Both dogs and cats get a limited amount of screen time watching dog and cat TV.

Reviews

Susan was absolutely wonderful! We felt our dog was very well cared for, and she kept us updated throughout our time away.

Susan was very quickly in tune to the needs and preferences of my aging Yorkie. I have total confidence leaving him in her care.

Susan was a great sitter for our boy Loki!! Sent us updates and the atmosphere at her home helped Loki on his first stay away from his home. Will use her services again!!! Highly recommend!!!!

Susan was absolutely amazing with our pup! We were a little apprehensive at first with how excitable our puppy is, but Susan took her energy in stride. By the time we picked her up and brought her home, she was happy and tuckered out from playtime. I'd recommend Susan to anyone, she'll listen to your concerns and instructions and handle them perfectly. Will definitely contact again
