About: Hi! I have been around and caring for animals for 15 years. Right now I currently dog sit for two dogs every week. I’ve had pets my whole life. I’ve had 4 dogs at one time with 2 cats. I love being around animals and have experience in watching dogs. I currently live in an apartment and have adopted two kittens. I have volunteered many times at the animals shelter by my home. I currently have a part time job so I can definitely fit watching pets into my schedule. About: I have dogsat for friends and family since I was a kid, I worked at a doggy daycare (Paws In The City) in highschool. My family has raised 2 litters of golden retrievers, so I am familiar with how to train and housebreak puppies from a young age. I live with 2 dogs and 3 cats, all with very different energy levels and personalities, I will adjust to your pet's unique needs and routines! I am a student at CMU, so during the semester I will be gone during the morning for classes. I stop by to check on pets during lunch time, and then head back to campus. On weekends I can stay with them the whole day, taking dogs on a hike if the weather is nice, or staying in and playing on my study breaks. I have a pretty open schedule, so I will have a lot of time to spare for pet care. I am willing to stay with your pets overnight if you need, or just stop by regularly throughout the day. About: I've been around and have helped care for dogs and cats all shapes and sizes. Each one I've personally owned are a part of the family! I would take care of your fur baby like I'd want mine taken care of. I am a homeschooling mom which means your fur baby will be kept company while in my care. During the school year, on Saturdays, we sometimes will have sporting events to go to, as well as some week nights we will go to extracurricular practices but never gone for long! I currently have Midland's rail trail right in my back yard for nice walks if that's something you would like done. When we move in March we will have a large open park right in our backyard! However, my schedule is highly flexible, minimizing the time they are left alone. Cats: Cats may be left unsupervised in a designated, pet-safe room with regular check-ins. Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. About: I have many years experience with cats, even wild bred cats. But due to having two cats myself, I am not taking any cats for boarding. About: I have been caring for pets since I was young, as we have always had dogs and cats. Over the last couple of ears have started to house pet sit for familv and friends, as well as dog walking. I am currently attending college 2 days a week (mondays and Wednesday's) and work 8-5 during the week as well. My family has raised 2 litters of golden retrievers, so I am familiar with how to train and housebreak puppies from a young age.
