About: Hi! I am new to Rover, but caring for dogs is something my family truly loves. I have a friendly golden retriever named Stanley who absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—so hosting furry friends is a joy for all of us! I work from home most days, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My young kids also love having dogs around and are gentle, playful, and used to being around animals. I also have a cat in our home who is very comfortable around dogs—she and Stanley are great friends—so your pup should be cat-friendly or at least respectful of cats. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor playtime, and I treat every dog that stays with us like part of the family. Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, I will make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home. Since I’m just getting started on Rover, I’m excited to build relationships with both pets and their owners and provide a safe, trustworthy environment you can feel confident in. I currently work a hybrid schedule. I am home 2-3 days a week. We do have a fenced in yard and a doggy door. I have a fenced in yard and my animals are our family. They are welcome to lay where they are comfortable and shares the bed with me if needed.

She understands the importance of allowing your dog to go at their own pace and acclimate to their environment during the initial meet and greet and each subsequent visit. She never pushes dogs for interactions they aren’t ready for, which is especially important in my case as one of my dogs is fearful and easily stressed. Kathy also has a dog of her own - the tiniest, sweetest thing. Even my very shy dog doesn’t mind her. Overall, I’d say every experience I’ve had with Kathy has been excellent. After having back-to-back issues with 2 different sitters from Rover, it's amazing to know there are those that do actually care, and take what they do seriously. She went above and beyond for things that were never asked, or even expected. She was caring, respectful, and most importantly, understands cats, because she has 1 of her own. About: Cats have always felt like my other half. Since I was 5 I have been rescuing and caring for cats of all ages and backgrounds, and just recently rescued a little kitten that was trapped inside a car. I love making them feel comfortable and cared for because they always return that love ten times over! I also work at mission point so I know my way around if you happen to be staying here. I’m a big walker and nature lover too so it’s a win-win. I’m available on my days off and before noon! About: I have dogsat for friends and family since I was a kid, I worked at a doggy daycare (Paws In The City) in highschool. My family has raised 2 litters of golden retrievers, so I am familiar with how to train and housebreak puppies from a young age. I live with 2 dogs and 3 cats, all with very different energy levels and personalities, I will adjust to your pet's unique needs and routines! I am a student at CMU, so during the semester I will be gone during the morning for classes. I stop by to check on pets during lunch time, and then head back to campus. On weekends I can stay with them the whole day, taking dogs on a hike if the weather is nice, or staying in and playing on my study breaks. I have a pretty open schedule, so I will have a lot of time to spare for pet care. I am willing to stay with your pets overnight if you need, or just stop by regularly throughout the day. I will follow your instructions, and make sure your pets stay fed, safe, and happy while you are gone! I have a lot of hiking trails I want to explore, if you are comfortable with me taking your pup on a fieldtrip. If not, I am happy to walk in your neighborhood and stay closer to home.

About: I've been around and have helped care for dogs and cats all shapes and sizes. Each one I've personally owned are a part of the family! I would take care of your fur baby like I'd want mine taken care of. I am a homeschooling mom which means your fur baby will be kept company while in my care. During the school year, on Saturdays, we sometimes will have sporting events to go to, as well as some week nights we will go to extracurricular practices but never gone for long! I currently have Midland's rail trail right in my back yard for nice walks if that's something you would like done. When we move in March we will have a large open park right in our backyard! We have a sweet Goldador at home that loves playmates and also two cats that sleep the day away. My three kids (ages 8 - 13) have been shown from the beginning how to respect and love animals and they will be a wonderful addition to keeping your fur babies feeling loved and cared for!

Pet Care in My Home Pets in my home receive dedicated supervision unless prior arrangements are made: Dogs: If a dog is staying with me and needs to be left alone for an extended period, I require a crate for their safety and comfort. However, my schedule is highly flexible, minimizing the time they are left alone. Cats: Cats may be left unsupervised in a designated, pet-safe room with regular check-ins. Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Dogs with severe aggression or unpredictable behavior. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.

When going for walks I always maintain firm a firm hold on the leash, even with bigger dogs. About: One of the best things about life is our pets. I grew up with three dogs who were my bffs, and I have several friends who have cats. I have tons of experience with house and pet sitting for long durations (several weeks at a time). I am responsible, clean, detail-oriented, and love taking dogs on walkies! Every pet I sit for, I treat as my own and shower them with love and snuggles! I currently work part-time at Home Depot as a cashier and part-time at Olive Garden as a server. If I'm not working, I'm usually watching a movie or show, reading a book, writing poetry, or going on a walk and enjoying this beautiful summer weather! About: I have dogsat for friends and family since I was a kid, I worked at a doggy daycare (Paws In The City) in highschool. My family has raised 2 litters of golden retrievers, so I am familiar with how to train and housebreak puppies from a young age. I live with 2 dogs and 3 cats, all with very different energy levels and personalities, I will adjust to your pet's unique needs and routines! I am a student at CMU, so during the semester I will be gone during the morning for classes. I stop by to check on pets during lunch time, and then head back to campus. On weekends I can stay with them the whole day, taking dogs on a hike if the weather is nice, or staying in and playing on my study breaks. I have a pretty open schedule, so I will have a lot of time to spare for pet care. I am willing to stay with your pets overnight if you need, or just stop by regularly throughout the day. I will follow your instructions, and make sure your pets stay fed, safe, and happy while you are gone! I have a lot of hiking trails I want to explore, if you are comfortable with me taking your pup on a fieldtrip. If not, I am happy to walk in your neighborhood and stay closer to home.
About: I have always had dogs and cats in my life, from training my own dogs to dog/cat sitting for family and friends, I have more experience with big dog breeds rather than little but I am comfortable in my ability to care for all types of dogs and cats. My family has raised puppies multiple times and I have assisted in caring for and training them. I am currently working at dr pol veterinary services, I work Monday and Fridays:8-6, Tuesday and Thursday I work 8-5, and I occasionally work Saturdays from 8:30-12. Currently I am unable to bring other people’s pets into my home because we have three large dogs that aren’t the best when it comes to other animals, but me and my boyfriend are working on renovating a polebarn into a apartment for me and him and we plan on completly fencing the area in for when we eventually get dogs of our own.

Pet Care in My Home Pets in my home receive dedicated supervision unless prior arrangements are made: Dogs: If a dog is staying with me and needs to be left alone for an extended period, I require a crate for their safety and comfort. However, my schedule is highly flexible, minimizing the time they are left alone. Cats: Cats may be left unsupervised in a designated, pet-safe room with regular check-ins. Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Dogs with severe aggression or unpredictable behavior. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.
