“Susan was a great sitter for our boy Loki!! Sent us updates and the atmosphere at her home helped Loki on his first stay away from his home. Will use her services again!!! Highly recommend!!!!”

“I am SO HAPPY we found Larissa! She is sweet, easy to talk with, and most importantly, amazing with Carini! She loved staying with her for a week. Larissa sent me updates and pictures every day and I could tell how great of a time my girl was having. Safe to say, we'll be doing some daycare days in the future so she can see them again ??”

“Max and Mariah took great care of our two 9 month old pups over an entire 4-day holiday weekend. These puppies are high energy and were allowed to play in their fenced in yard to their heart’s content and adjusted well to their already busy household. I will definitely check with them first if ever needing boarding again.”

“We always book our dog’s stay with Bennet. They do the best job of taking care of your pet and sending cute photos and videos. Lola loves to stay at their home and their dog Winter is the sweetest!”

“10 out of 10. No Notes. Attentive. Responsive. Patient. Understanding. Just a few words to describe Erin and the level of care she (and her family) provided. Each day, I received photos and videos, including some behavior updates (Pearl is a puppy after all). While Pearl was excited to see me, I could tell she missed Erin and her family— whimpering the entire car ride home. :) Without hesitation, I would book Erin again. One of the best Rover sitters I have ever experienced.”

About: Hi there! My name is Sage, and I’m passionate about caring for pets of all ages and needs. I have hands-on experience giving pills, shots, and other medications, as well as caring for both senior cats who need a little extra patience and love, and playful kittens and puppies. I’ve also helped with potty training for puppies and understand the unique attention that both young and elderly pets require. At home, I’m the proud owner of two cats who keep me on my toes and remind me every day why I love animals so much. My goal is always to provide the same level of care, comfort, and kindness to your pets as I do my own. I have evenings open to love on your pets! If you have a busy night planned or a late night at work, leave your pet in my hands! I know how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable in their own home. As a sitter, I provide respectful, reliable care that follows your pet’s normal routine, from feeding and playtime to medications and cuddles. Whether your pet is young, elderly, or needs special attention, I treat them with patience and love—just like my own two cats. I know my way around Mount Pleasant trails and parks when your pet needs to get some energy out!
“Kathy did a great job with our little girl! She is a Covid dog, so she lacks some socialization skills lol. Kathy is very knowledgeable and willing to help. She set our minds at ease, and I knew our little Siena was very safe in her hands. I would highly recommend her!”

About: Hi! I am new to Rover, but caring for dogs is something my family truly loves. I have a friendly golden retriever named Stanley who absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—so hosting furry friends is a joy for all of us! I work from home most days, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My young kids also love having dogs around and are gentle, playful, and used to being around animals. I also have a cat in our home who is very comfortable around dogs—she and Stanley are great friends—so your pup should be cat-friendly or at least respectful of cats. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor playtime, and I treat every dog that stays with us like part of the family. Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, I will make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home. Since I’m just getting started on Rover, I’m excited to build relationships with both pets and their owners and provide a safe, trustworthy environment you can feel confident in. I currently work a hybrid schedule. I am home 2-3 days a week. We do have a fenced in yard and a doggy door. I have a fenced in yard and my animals are our family. They are welcome to lay where they are comfortable and shares the bed with me if needed.
“Ashley was very accommodating and excellent with our 4 active dogs. I could tell they were very well taken care of and got plenty attention. Communication was great and we got regular updates with photos while we were gone. It’s clear she truly cares about animals. We will definitely be back. Thank you!”

“Our fur babies had a wonderful time with Maria and her family. We received countless pictures and messages throughout our 10 day trip that illustrated how happy and loved our dogs were. Maria even gave them baths just before we returned! We highly recommend Maria and will use her again.”

“Christina did a wonderful job with our dog! We are very happy, and would definitely hire her again! Our dog is 13 years old and has almost never spent a night away from home, so we were a little nervous. He stayed with Christina for 5 days and she cared for him so well! The daily texts from her were so nice and reassuring! She made it very easy for us and our dog! He must have been comfortable with Christina because he came home like he'd never left!”

About: Bonafide Animal Lover! I grew up on a farm caring for many different animals & have always had either cats and/or dogs in my adult life. Most recent, I cared for our two adult male shepherds in all aspects - training, feeding, walking, nurturing and our two adult cats - training, feeding, activity and nurturing. My pets are part of my family & I will provide the same level of care to your pets as well! I am a semi-retired remote bookkeeper and empty nester therefore I am home most of the time and have plenty of time to do drop in visits, walking or boarding. My caution level for keeping my pets safe and well cared for is very high. They are part of my family. I focus on their daily feeding schedule, ensure the catbox is kept clean daily, play with them (laser pointer and feather toy) for their exercise, and provide lots of love and cuddles too. When I have our shepherds, I walk them daily and play fetch and tug of war with a ball or rope.

About: Cats have always held a special place in my heart, and I've cared for them for most of my life. I understand that every cat has a unique personality. Some are social and affectionate, while others need time, patience, and space to feel comfortable. I always respect their boundaries and let them come to me at their own pace, while making sure they're safe, healthy, and well cared for. I have experience caring for kittens, senior cats, and cats that require medication, and I strive to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. My goal is to earn your cat's trust and provide the same love and care they receive from you.

“Jacqueline is absolutely wonderful! She has watched my cats multiple times and I feel so comfortable with her caring for them. One of my cats requires additional care with medication and Jacqueline went out of her way to come over to see our usual routine. My other cat can be "moody" and Jacqueline handled her like a champ. My girls love her and I feel so fortunate to have a sitter I trust!”

“We had Paula drop by for 10 days to feed our cats and she did more than that!! She made sure they ate and gave them attention afterwards!! We appreciated everything she has done for us and will definitely be rebooking her for our next vacation! Thanks again Paula! ❤️”

“Susan was amazing with our skittish cats. They looked forward to seeing her every day and were extremely well cared for. Professional and experienced, if you are fortunate enough to book Susan you'll be very pleased.”

About: Cats have always felt like my other half. Since I was 5 I have been rescuing and caring for cats of all ages and backgrounds, and just recently rescued a little kitten that was trapped inside a car. I love making them feel comfortable and cared for because they always return that love ten times over! There's no better feeling than knowing that they feel safe around you, and that's something I will forever strive for.
About: I have been caring and training dogs for over a decade, including experience with large breeds. I am especially experienced with Newfoundlands, Newfoundland-Poodle mixes, Goldendoodles, Dogo Argentinos, and Vizslas. I am comfortable handling strong, energetic dogs and always approach animals with patience, respect, and understanding their individual needs. As a healthcare graduate student, I bring responsibility, attention to detail, and caring communication to every pet I care for. In addition, I genuinely enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so I'm happy to provide long walks and structured exercise for pets who need to burn off some energy. Come May, I'll have a flexible schedule as I complete the classroom portion of my Doctor of Physical Therapy program. With a lighter schedule and no part-time work commitments, I'll have plenty of time and energy to dedicate to walks, drop-in visits, and giving your pets the attention they deserve. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I follow all owner instructions carefully, maintain secure handling during walks, and supervise pets closely at all times. I respect each home's rules and routines to ensure consistency for the pet. I am attentive to behavioral cues and changes in health, and I communicate promptly with owners if anything seems out of the ordinary.

“Lily was terrific. She connected with our cat immediately and took great care of her. She stayed in touch with us so we knew how each visit went and we could ask and answer questions. Would definitely have Lily pet sit again.”

“Kumar was absolutely wonderful with my two cats! I was especially nervous about leaving because one of them, Relic, is a formerly feral girl who’s very shy with new people. (Beezle, my other cat, is a social butterfly—toss him a treat and he’s instantly your best friend.) But Kumar handled Relic’s quirks with so much patience and care. He came by twice a day, sent me photos and videos every visit, and never hesitated to check in if he had questions. His communication was fantastic, and he totally put my mind at ease. If I need a sitter again, I’ll be crossing my fingers that Kumar’s available—he did an amazing job, and I’m so grateful!”

“There are not enough good things I can say about Savannah. Truly. She took amazing care of mine and my wife's 3 cats. After having back-to-back issues with 2 different sitters from Rover, it's amazing to know there are those that do actually care, and take what they do seriously. She went above and beyond for things that were never asked, or even expected. She was caring, respectful, and most importantly, understands cats, because she has 1 of her own. Our 3 cats are boys, and are all black. That's a challenge within itself. We left clear easy to follow instructions, and she took them and ran with it. Our cats trusted her early on, they didn't really hide the first time she came over, and that speaks volumes on its own. We will absolutely rebook her for the future. Thank you so much for taking great care of our Buddies Savannah!”

I have a 3-year-old Golden Retriever, so I understand the daily attention, exercise, patience, and love pets need to feel happy and comfortable. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or sticking to their regular routine, I’m committed to giving each pet personalized care and attention to keep them happy while their owners are away. I currently work full time during the week, but pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I care for my own dog as well. I’m available before and after work on weekdays, and I have more flexibility and availability on weekends. I’m committed to making sure pets get the attention, care, and companionship they need while their owners are away. I currently live in a household with two dogs, and I’ve lived with both dogs and cats for most of my life. About: I have loved and cared for many types of animals since childhood, which included my best friends - my kitties! We have some allergies in my family so I have loved my two Beagle babies for almost 10 years now… but once a cat person - always a cat person. I will care for your pets/kitties as if they are my own. My communication and close attention to detail helps me to follow specific instructions, and as I am very particular about my pets - I understand how to ease the worries associated with someone else caring the way you would. Frequent updates and pictures is the way I roll so you won’t have to worry about a thing. Flexibility is everything to me, also being a caretaker to a grandparent, so if you are not sure if I am a good fit… let’s talk about it!
“Thank you is not enough . Elyssa came to our rescue in the saddest. time in our lives . She was amazing with our cats. Always on time with feedings and she spent extra time with our cats. Would definitely recommend her.”

About: I have dogsat for friends and family since I was a kid, I worked at a doggy daycare (Paws In The City) in highschool. My family has raised 2 litters of golden retrievers, so I am familiar with how to train and housebreak puppies from a young age. I live with 2 dogs and 3 cats, all with very different energy levels and personalities, I will adjust to your pet's unique needs and routines! I am a student at CMU, so during the semester I will be gone during the morning for classes. I stop by to check on pets during lunch time, and then head back to campus. On weekends I can stay with them the whole day, taking dogs on a hike if the weather is nice, or staying in and playing on my study breaks. I have a pretty open schedule, so I will have a lot of time to spare for pet care. I am willing to stay with your pets overnight if you need, or just stop by regularly throughout the day. I will follow your instructions, and make sure your pets stay fed, safe, and happy while you are gone! I have a lot of hiking trails I want to explore, if you are comfortable with me taking your pup on a fieldtrip. If not, I am happy to walk in your neighborhood and stay closer to home.
“Max and Mariah were incredible and working with me to help provide care for my parents dog when a family emergency occurred. It was reassuring to find a place that meant their dog was safe and cared for and my parents could focus on what they needed to. I highly reccomend.”

“Samantha is responsive, cheerful and friendly. Tag had a wonderful time staying with her family, including Stanley, a sweet golden retriever. We won’t hesitate to use Samantha again and recommend her highly to others!”

“Christin is amazing! She watches our puppy Newfie everyday and sends lots of pictures throughout the day. She has helped us introduce Newfie to many new experiences, has helped with potty training, and has been working with him at walking on a leash. Newfie loves her and has made friends with the other doggies. We highly recommend her!”

“Erin has a beautiful, large fenced in yard for dogs and children. She is conscientious, kind, on time, and communicates with her clients. Molly likes her. I will definitely trust Erin with my Molly again.”

“Kathy is amazing. Isabel can be timid when she goes to a new place, but she walked into Kathy's like she lived there. Made it much easier to leave my fur baby for daycare.”

“Blythe was very accommodating. She took us as a fairly last minute booking since we had a funeral and my previous sitter had just moved away. My pickup estimate was off and she was kind enough to keep Grokii an hour or two longer than expected even though it coincided with putting her kids to bed. Her kids are absolutely adorable and I know Grokii was doted on because he slept almost the entire next day. Great family - highly recommend!”

About: I have many years experience with cats, even wild bred cats. But due to having two cats myself, I am not taking any cats for boarding. Maybe interested in stopping by and feeding and cleaning litters I am currently working but my husband is home 100% of the time and kids are also here that love playing with animals, bathing them, and taking them for walks. Having spent the last two years renovating my own home, I deeply understand the importance of maintaining a clean and organized environment. Safety and Pet Care Best Practices Your pet’s safety is my top priority, and I take every precaution to ensure their well-being: Secure Transportation: If I transport your pet, they will always be properly restrained with a seatbelt or pet travel carrier for safety. Leash & Walk Safety: On walks, I ensure pets do not pick up items from the ground. I also clean their paws after every outing, just as I do with my own pets. Hygiene & Health: If your pet gets dirty, I will provide a bath with your permission. Any medical concerns will be addressed immediately, and I am trained in emergency pet first aid, excluding surgical procedures. Home Security: I will ensure all doors and windows are securely locked when leaving your home. Privacy & Updates: I will only take photos of your pet for your updates and will never photograph your home without permission. Supervision & Outdoor Time: Pets in my care will never be left alone in a vehicle or outside unattended, even in my fenced yard. Cats will remain indoors unless they are harness-trained and you request outdoor time. Stranger Interaction: While on walks, your pet will not interact with strangers or other animals unless pre-approved for socialization. Pet Care in My Home Pets in my home receive dedicated supervision unless prior arrangements are made: Dogs: If a dog is staying with me and needs to be left alone for an extended period, I require a crate for their safety and comfort. However, my schedule is highly flexible, minimizing the time they are left alone. Cats: Cats may be left unsupervised in a designated, pet-safe room with regular check-ins. Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Dogs with severe aggression or unpredictable behavior. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.
About: I will care for your pets happiness and well being. Making sure they are comfortable and stress free. We will have playtime and cuddles too. I currently work part time two days a week. When I accept pets it will be on my days off so I can be home to enjoy and play with your fur baby. Making sure all their needs are met. I am sure to follow whatever instructions are given to me to the strictest degree so you don't have to worry about your pets safety while you're away. When going for walks I always maintain firm a firm hold on the leash, even with bigger dogs. I have been walking with large breeds such as Saint Bernards and Great Danes for over a decade, so I feel very comfortable remaining in control. I always carry pepper spray with me as well, just as an absolute last resort in the very rare chance that anything would happen.

About: Hi, I’m Robin! I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and grew up with both cats and dogs. In addition, I have experience working with fish, rodents, horses, and some reptiles. I love building connections with animals and getting to know each pet’s unique personality, preferences, and needs. I also have experience caring for senior pets and understand the extra patience, attention, and comfort they often require to stay happy and healthy in their golden years. Whether your pet is young and energetic or older and in need of a gentler approach, I strive to provide compassionate, attentive care tailored to them. I’m passionate about animal behavior and training, and I’m always interested in learning new techniques. I’ve been actively training my own 2.5-year-old dog and enjoy helping pets build confidence through positive, consistent interactions. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I’ll care for your pets with the same love, respect, and attention I give my own. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy and make time for in my routine. While I currently work full-time, I am transitioning to self-employment, which will give me much more flexibility and availability for Rover clients. This career change will allow me to dedicate more time to pet care, including drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, administering basic care, and making sure pets receive the attention and companionship they deserve.💖 I provide care in my clients' homes, where pets are most comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each pet's routine and any care instructions closely, including feeding, medications, litter box care, and playtime. My priority is keeping pets safe, comfortable, and well cared for while building trust at their own pace.
“Ava and her boyfriend took my two large dogs out for a walk while I was away. They did a great job. They came within the timeframe we had selected. Ava handled the hot weather and my dogs high energy fine. My dogs seemed happy and relaxed when I got home!”

About: I have been caring for pets since I was young, as we have always had dogs and cats. Over the last couple of ears have started to house pet sit for familv and friends, as well as dog walking. I am currently attending college 2 days a week (mondays and Wednesday's) and work 8-5 during the week as well. I would like to be able to take care of pets on the weekends when I can. and maybe after work if that works out. I am very knowledgeable on how to care for animals. I will be careful when getting to the home and leaving the home to make sure the pet is in excellent care. While taking care of the pet I will be in contact with the owner.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, so I’m experienced and comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’m a huge dog person who truly loves spending time with them—whether it’s going for long walks, playing fetch, or just giving them extra attention and affection. As a college student with classes only two days a week, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable care during weekdays, weekends, and even last-minute requests. Pet sitting isn’t just a side job for me; it’s something I genuinely enjoy. Every dog I care for is treated like part of my own family, and I always make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I’m a college student and only have class two days a week, so I have a lot of free time during the rest of the week. Because of that, I’ve started offering pet-sitting and dog-walking services to make good use of my schedule. My open availability makes it easy to help pet owners who work long hours, travel, or just need someone dependable to check in on their animals. I can handle daily walks, feeding, playtime, and basic care, and I’m available on short notice most weekdays and weekends. Pet sitting has been a great way to earn extra money while spending time with animals, and it fits perfectly with my flexible college routine. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or in a client’s home, my goal is to keep them safe, happy, and comfortable while following the routine they’re used to. In a client’s home: I make sure to follow all instructions for feeding, walking, playtime, and medication if needed. I keep the home tidy, give pets plenty of attention, and send regular updates and photos so owners know how their pets are doing. In my home (if applicable): I provide a clean, pet-friendly space with room to play and relax. Dogs get regular walks, exercise, and cuddle time, and I keep their feeding and bathroom schedules consistent with what they’re used to. Because I’m a college student with a flexible schedule, I can spend extra time with pets, giving them the attention and care they need throughout the day instead of just quick check-ins.

My goal is to respect your space and treat your home with the same level of care I would my own.
