About: Currently I am between caregiving clients trying to decide what my next move is. I was born into an animal loving family, extended family, etc. I am 59 years old and have never been without at least a cat or two. I've also had 2 of my own dogs since 2005. My last senior dog passed the rainbow bridge in 2024. Born in Connecticut, lived for 45 years in Maryland and now I am living in Maine where I love it! One reason I fell in love with Maine is you can bring your dog almost anywhere here. They are a pet loving no-kill state! I have administered just about every kind of pet med out there. Every single pet has their own personality and I am very patient to learn that personality so we will become friends. I have a pretty open schedule with no real deadlines, so when ever your pets need walks, feeding, medications or just spend time with them, I am there. My own pets get feed twice a day. The time varies depending on my pet sitting schedule. But usually Its about 10am and 7pm. Whatever instructions left for me for a pet sit, I will follow to the letter. I will ask questions or text later to make sure I understand everything your pet needs. I've never run into an animal not liking me, but I am very aware of them not be comfortable with me at first. That can be stressful for them of course, so its very important that their care instructions are followed to keep them as anxiety free as possible.

About: I am a young adult who has a passion for working with animals. I have had pets my entire life and recently got my own puppy, whom I’ve been working with. I would love to work with your animals as well and get more experience. This is my passion and a talent that I would love to develop. I am looking to get a career in working with animals and would love the experience. I have a part-time job, but it is very flexible so I pretty much have all availability. I will be available most days as long as scheduled ahead of time. I live in a large field away from roads, and I have a dog friendly puppy and the ability to crate dogs if they need space apart. I will abide by the clients wishes how they would like me to care for their pets.

About: I've been freelance pet sitting since I was a sophomore in high school, and it's truthfully to this day the most rewarding job I've ever done. Dogs? I have experience caring for canines of all sizes, ages, activity levels, and temperaments ranging from youthful working dogs to elderly couch-potato pooches, to anxious rescues. Cats? I've tended to social, aloof, and semi-feral cats. I'm very patient with earning their trust. I come equipped with poop bags & treats! In addition, I've got barn chores and lizard care under my belt. I'm currently enrolled in a grooming course and am hoping to add that to my pet care services eventually! I work four days a week 9:45am to 6:30pm at my primary job. Although the days I work fluctuate, I know my schedule weeks in advance so I'm flexible and I work around hours on days I do work if necessary!

At any gathering, you'll find me petting the closest dog. I love dogs and make sure to greet every single one I see! Every second week of the month, I'm available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Additionally, I'm available every other weekend after 4:30 pm. About: Hello! I'm Jess - I'm from Northern California and moved to Maine last year. Growing up we always had dogs (and sometimes cats), so I learned to take care of pets from a young age. I was the go-to person in my neighborhood for pet-sitting and dog-walking. Currently I have one pup - Bodhi, a 2.5 year old black lab. I look forward to meeting you & your fur babies! I'm currently only working through Rover, so my schedule is very flexible right now! I'm available for drop-ins, all-day stays and overnights, as well as for long-term pet-sitting in your home. I love making every animal feel cared for - from playing with them, going on long walks outside, providing pets and cuddles, giving them occasional treats, etc. I care for every pet as if they were my own. I also love to send little text and video updates, so you can check in on them while you're away. I've even done FaceTimes with pets and their owners!

About: I have lived around dogs my entire life, and now have one of my own. I have worked in various horse barns, where by nature I also cared for the dogs! I have basic dog first aid training as well and have experience administering medications! I’m currently I college student also working in healthcare. I am available Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays all day, and some weekends, but could be available other days if needed. I have years experience caring for a variety of dogs. I have dog first aid training and can be prepared to handle many different situations if needed. I have a friendly dog at home and can crate if needed.
