About: Hi, I'm Chelsea! I have many years of multi-animal experience, ranging from cats and dogs to fish and horses. If you have it, I'll care for it! I have the most experience in cats and dogs, having been a lifelong owner of both. I believe every animal is good, and using positive reinforcement techniques whenever necessary. I have experience administering medication! While I am working part time, I have flexibility in my schedule. With that being said, I can accommodate and spend time with your pet in the comfort of their home or provide drop-in visits- please contact me for more information. I am more than happy to provide services to your pet in the form of drop-in, walking, or housesitting at this time! Let's connect to discuss how I can best fit your pet's needs- I accommodate to their daily routine and what works best in your home.
“Elizabeth did a great job looking after my cat during a week-long absence. Communication with her was easy and clear, and she sent daily photos to let me know that all was well. Would definitely book again if I had a need.”

“Alex was amazing and my dogs love her! I was nervous leaving them for the first time and Alex came over and made me much better! She clearly loves dogs and is very knowledgeable! Highly recommended!”

“Alison did a fantastic job! She was reliable, loving, and communicative. It was easy for us to relax on vacation knowing she was taking care of our fur babies. The peace of mind this provided was priceless!”

“Marisol was incredibly reliable and wonderful with our two dogs. It’s clear she loves dogs and really understands their behavior. Her updates were informative and she made note of their behaviors that we’ve been working on. Highly recommend!”

“Hayleigh did a wonderful job with our cats. They were adopted litter mates at the age of 3 months. They have never been without us, so they were a little shy about showing themselves. Everything was done as asked, feeding, litter box, etc. Would use again if the need arises.”

“What a joy! Katie saved the day when I needed last minute Christmas cat care. She came through despite there being two snow storms! I appreciate all of the pictures she sent of Kitty Boy. She did a wonderful job keeping him fed and entertained. It was relaxing knowing he was in good hands, and equally great to come home to a spotless house and a happy cat. Thanks Katie :-)”

“We had such a wonderful experience with Amanda. Leaving a small puppy and other dog (both Basenjis) in someone else’s care can be nerve-racking, but Amanda made the entire process feel effortless and reassuring. From the start, it was clear she truly understands dogs and their personalities — especially a breed like a Basenji, which isn’t always the easiest! She was incredibly attentive, patient with our puppy, and thoughtful about making sure both dogs felt comfortable and cared for. We received regular updates and so many amazing photos, which made it clear our dogs were happy, relaxed, and getting plenty of attention. When we returned home, both dogs were calm, content, and clearly well cared for. It gave a lot of peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We would absolutely trust them again with Amanda. We will absolutely have her back again, I highly recommend Amanda to anyone looking for a responsible, kind, and genuinely great pet sitter.”
About: Hello! I'm Jess - I'm originally from Northern California and moved to Maine in 2025. Growing up I always had dogs (and sometimes cats), and learned to take care of pets from a young age. I was the go-to person in my neighborhood for petsitting, drop-in visits and dog-walking. I look forward to meeting you & your fur babies! I'm currently only working through Rover, so my schedule is very flexible right now! I'm available for drop-ins, all-day stays and overnights, as well as for long-term pet-sitting in your home. I love making every animal feel cared for - from playing with them, going on long walks outside, providing pets and cuddles, giving them occasional treats, etc. I care for every pet as if they were my own. I also love to send little text and video updates, so you can check in on them while you're away. I've even done FaceTimes with pets and their owners!
“Carla provided exceptional care for our cat during our 2-week trip. Communication was excellent and the daily photos of our cat assured us that all was well. Our cat is very emotionally expressive and she looked 100% happy to be in Carla's lap. We will definitely hire Carla again the next time we need a sitter.”

“Libby was easy to work with. It was nice to be able to leave town unexpectedly and have the peace of mind that my high maintenance kitties would get all of their medications. They must have liked Libby, because they barely acted like they missed me at all whe. I got home.”

“Zanae was amazing! She took our dog for 2 long walks and made sure he got plenty of love and attention (and treats). Highly recommend her to anyone traveling and needing dog care.”

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
