“While Melanie was walking my small dog, a large dog escaped its fence and attacked both Melanie and my dog. Melanie, unconcerned for herself, picked up my dog and fended off the large dog sustaining bites herself. She handled the situation very professionally and made sure my dog was safe and secure before getting medical treatment herself. I will forever be grateful to her and would recommend her services to anyone who wants a dog walker who goes above and beyond.”

About: I have been pet-sitting since I was around 9/10. I have experience sitting with all sorts of animals and have never met one I didn't love. My boyfriend's family breeds Yorkies, so I have experience working with dogs as young as fresh out and as old as the end. I am experienced with dogs of all temperaments, ages, and sizes. I am currently available 24/7 on the weekends. Monday and Friday, I am unavailable from 10-1, but free the rest of the day. I have plenty of time for all sorts of furry friends. I currently live with two kittens who are accustomed to dogs, but they can be confined to their room if there is concern. I do not have a yard where I am, but I do have plenty of safe walking areas around me for exercise and pottying. I am respectful and resourceful when doing overnights in your home, and I will make sure your pet feels comfortable in either your home or mine.

We have two cats and one dog who keep our home full of love and lots of fur! I cannot think of a single time in my life when I didn’t have a pet. About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I understand the energy of big breeds and the patience senior dogs need. I’ve also helped neighbors and friends with dog sitting, always making sure pets feel safe, loved, and happy. I’ve been working at Ruby as a traveler for a year and my contract is soon coming to an end. I will be staying in West Virginia till end of June. My schedule will become open so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your fur baby. When caring for pets in your home, I focus on maintaining their usual routine so they feel comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any specific preferences your pet has.

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life, I foster and rescue cats, and volunteer. I’ve handled all pets from lizards to St Bernard’s. The most pets in a house I’ve ever had is 19! I am a full time student and work a part time job, but I’m flexible! I am willing to work with you to ensure your pet is taken care of! I’ve fostered 50+ cats with my family, and I grew up with big dogs. I have experience giving meds, and dealing with puppies and kittens.

About: I currently have two cats and a 3.5 year old daughter. I am currently an RN but am planning on staying home starting in January, and looking to come back to Rover to pass some time with the fur babies! Depending on the time of day, my daughter would likely need to join me for drop ins/walks, if the pet parent is okay with that. She has been around dogs her whole life, including large breeds like German Shepherds. Please message me with any questions! I am planning to become a SAHM in January 2026 and am currently an RN, so my schedule is very flexible. I have a 3.5 year old daughter that may join for drop-ins/walks depending on the time of day, but if the booker is not comfortable with that please let me know! My husband WFH so we are pretty flexible. Each client should provide me with a care plan for each of their babies. I will follow this plan to the T and update and/or ask the owner with concerns or questions as needed.

About: I have 3 cats now, and I have experience taking care of kittens/puppies and senior cats (21 years old). No kid, no dog, no smoking, 3000 sq ft new home with fenced backyard. I also love to take care of pets(raccoon, turtle, rabbit, etc.) Message me if you want to know more! I am available after 4 pm every day and love to do drop-in visits! I can do home sitting on all weekends since Friday night. If you want to board your cats at my place, I can have a separate room just for them. No kids, no dogs, no smoking, big home with fenced backyard. I have 3 super-friendly cats myself, and they get along well with other cats. If your furbabies are shy, I can set up a separate room for them. If they love making friends, my cats will keep them busy.
