About: I’ve taken care of my old chihuahua and my friends puppies and im comfortable taking care of every age in between! If your dog has any special needs, just let me know. I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! My schedule varies, but I am usually available on weekends too! I have a fenced in yard, and I don’t have any of my own pets or children. Sometimes there are bunnies that run through the backyard, but they’re usually in and out.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals as long as I can remember. From taking care of my own pets to helping others out with their pets, I love providing the pet care an owner needs help with and a pet needs. Growing up, I lived across the street from my great aunt who bred and showed Great Danes. From a young age I remember sitting and watching out the front window for my aunt to come home so I could call her and ask if I could come help her with her Danes. When I was 10 years old, I started my own dog walking/pet sitting business and I have helped numerous families out with their pets while they were out on vacation or just needed help getting their pets outside for some exercise. After college, I worked at a local pet store and have gotten a lot of experience with dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, and birds. I also have helped care for horses over the years. Additional courses included Animal Behavior, Equine Hoof and Limb, Equine Assisted Therapy, and Exotic Animal Medicine, among others. Since graduating, I have compiled formal experience working with both domestic animals, wildlife and protection of their habitat. I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Thank you for your understanding schedule limitations during this transition. Please communicate with me your dogs needs i.e.; whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs or food allergies, usual routines that make them feel safe, enrichment or husbandry that helps positively stimulate them mentally and emotionally, triggers to be mindful of/avoid, whether they have off leash recall or there are chase drive trigger concerns and they must stay leashed at all times, and anything else you feel is relevant so we may collaborate on their care plan to provide them the best support. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.

About: I have been around animals and taking care of them since I was a child. As a child my parents had cats that I would have to watch. As I got older both parents got dogs and I have had over 10 years experience with them. Currently I am a dog owner of 4 and a half years and couldn’t imagine life without him. I am currently enrolled in school online that does not have a set time to be in classes. This will allow me to attend to your pets at any moment they need it. I have a yard but not fence. This allows easy access to restroom breaks. I am happy to crate your dog if needed but always love to be able to have them roam. My house has plenty of space for playtime and my dog loves running around it especially with other dogs.

I have also done some cat sitting for my friends who have bengals cats who typically require more attention and regular meal times. I am a fresh out of medical school doctor who is in between school and residency. I am free all hours of the day, any day of the week. I am here for detailed instructions on how you want me to care for your fur baby. If they need to be let out every 30 minutes because they’re a puppy I can do a stay in. About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life, I foster and rescue cats, and volunteer. I’ve handled all pets from lizards to St Bernard’s. The most pets in a house I’ve ever had is 19! I am a full time student and work a part time job, but I’m flexible! I am willing to work with you to ensure your pet is taken care of! About: I’ve taken care of my old chihuahua and my friends puppies and im comfortable taking care of every age in between! If your dog has any special needs, just let me know. I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! My schedule varies, but I am usually available on weekends too! I have a fenced in yard, and I don’t have any of my own pets or children. Sometimes there are bunnies that run through the backyard, but they’re usually in and out.
About: I have experience taking care of kittens/puppies and senior cats (21 years old). Have an exotic pet? No problem! Raccoon, rabbit, bird, chinchilla, etc. I’m willing to take care of them. I am available after 4 pm every day and love to do drop-in visits! I can do home sitting on all weekends since Friday night. If you want to board your cats at my place, I can have a separate room just for them. No kids, no dogs, no smoking, big home with fenced backyard. I have 3 super-friendly cats myself, and they get along well with other cats. If your furbabies are shy, I can set up a separate room for them. About: I decided to join Rover because my friends always contact me to take care of their pets and they say I should make a job of it :) I’ve also been a personal assistant to two families, which included staying with and checking in on their pets on a daily basis and while they were away. About: I’ve been taking care of animals as long as I can remember. From taking care of my own pets to helping others out with their pets, I love providing the pet care an owner needs help with and a pet needs. Growing up, I lived across the street from my great aunt who bred and showed Great Danes. From a young age I remember sitting and watching out the front window for my aunt to come home so I could call her and ask if I could come help her with her Danes. When I was 10 years old, I started my own dog walking/pet sitting business and I have helped numerous families out with their pets while they were out on vacation or just needed help getting their pets outside for some exercise. About: Hi Loving Furparents, My lifelong passion is interspecies communication, animal care & behavior, ecology, and environmental conservation. I have grown up communicating, training/learning, caretaking, and translating for animals my entire life, and I continue to follow my passion for animal care, rehabilitation, conservation, and helping others learn to listen and communicate with animals. I have recently lost my soul dog and partner of nearly 16 years to osteosarcoma. I have experience with caretaking during mobility issues for both animals, using help-em-up harnesses and wheelchairs. Additionally, I have awareness and understanding of training needs when the human is afflicted with chronic illness and mobility impairments, such as helping the animal to learn and be mindful of unsteadiness, fall prevention, etc. My current SDiT and I are working on counterbalance, DPT, crowd guarding, behavior interruptions, and some preliminary scent work. Additional Background of Experience; I grew up in the area with a variety of species throughout the years, from cats & dogs to horses, rodents, fish, chickens & guinea fowl to turtles, etc. This experience came with interspecies management, learning to hand-rear animals, helping animals learn core life skills, assess and rehab injury, hospice care, etc. Later, I completed a multidisciplinary degree from WVU with concentrations in Wildlife Management and Conservation Ecology. At WVU, I completed curriculum including a Service Dog Training course where the dog I worked with (Gretel) graduated the following year to become a certified therapy dog at Chestnut Ridge. Additional courses included Animal Behavior, Equine Hoof and Limb, Equine Assisted Therapy, and Exotic Animal Medicine, among others. Since graduating, I have compiled formal experience working with both domestic animals, wildlife and protection of their habitat. I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Thank you for your understanding schedule limitations during this transition. Please communicate with me your dogs needs i.e.; whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs or food allergies, usual routines that make them feel safe, enrichment or husbandry that helps positively stimulate them mentally and emotionally, triggers to be mindful of/avoid, whether they have off leash recall or there are chase drive trigger concerns and they must stay leashed at all times, and anything else you feel is relevant so we may collaborate on their care plan to provide them the best support. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.

About: I’ve grown up arounds dogs and have owned atleast one dog for my whole life. I’ve had experience from chihuahuas to german shepherds. Pet care has become a daily thing with my fur babies. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a pre teen. I’ve grown up with dogs, taken care of family dogs and I worked at a doggie daycare for over a year! I’m a current full time student at WVU, I do set aside time for homework and studying, but I would love to make extra cash and to hang out with some animals!
