Initially, I was a bit nervous about dropping off my 8 month old pup, Blue, just because I wasn't entirely sure how he would do in a new environment without me and other dogs present. Blue settled in super fast and had the best day! Alex was reassuring and sent updates throughout the day with pictures and videos that were so appreciated. Blue was in awesome hands and I'm so grateful he had fun with new friends, lots of space to run around, and an awesome caregiver in Alex and his family. “We were passing through town and needed daycare for our chihuahua. Shihong took Peanut on short notice, picked her up to take her on a walk around the block with his dog, Cotton, and reported back that things were going well! Peanut had a couple accidents in the house and he was unfazed. He was diligent about socializing her to his dog and by the end of the day they were snuggled in the crate together. Wish we could bring Peanut to Shihong every day! Highly recommend.”

“I have been using their dog services since May, I travel frequently and originally started taking lil bear here because of their multiple good reviews and affordable prices. Some places charge 2-3x this amount and lock your dog in a cage or separated room for hours. This would be very traumatic for my dog. I love that they also helped my dog learn to play with the other dogs and they can all play outside. I have already left other reviews and would definitely recommend them. They are very flexible.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and have proudly raised my Mayflower (16 year old Boston terrier) since I was 12 years old. I see all dogs as our best friends and family and will care for your dogs with the same love and dedication that I care for mine. I do not believe in punishment, and will not use aversive tools such as shock, choke, and prong collars. If these are the tools that you use in your home, I will use my own harness or collar while caring for your companion. I believe in providing our companions with agency and understanding, not fear and restriction.

About: I’ve been a pet care taker for 10 years off and on. I’ve had pets all my life. I work from home so they’re never alone for long! I work from home so I am able to play with the animals frequently and let them go outside to potty. They love the all day attention!
