About: I have been around animals and have helped care for them since I was around 10 years old. I grew up with cats and now as an adult I have three dogs. In my free time I volunteer with a local rescue, and I have fostered through the rescue or on my own taken in, vetted, then found homes for over two dozen animals combined. I was raised with so much love and empathy for all animals that I care for them as if they were my pets. I had a rover account a few years ago, but I deleted my account when I decided to legally change my name. So while I have experience being a sitter on rover, I unfortunately have no way to show my previous reviews. It would be my honor to care for your pets in whatever form needed, whether it’s boarding, drop in, walks, or daycare. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! My rates are to account for rover fees. I also require a meet and greet for any dogs that would be in my home to make sure they’d get along with my dogs. We can discuss rates further during meet and greets if you’d like. I am a stay at home dad with my 5 year old child that I homeschool, so I am available all the time. I do have occasional appointments or events, but none of it takes up much of my time. It is very easy for me to be home and tending to animals whenever needed. I have a small fenced area for bathroom breaks, but the rest of my property (half an acre) is not fenced in. My own dogs are allowed off leash because they are trained, but for safety I would not allow rover dogs off leash in the non fenced portion of the yard. At this time I will only board dogs who are fully crate trained, for the purpose of over nights + if I am away from the house. I was lenient with that last time I had rover and damage was done to my house, so crate training is a must for the property aspect, but also for the safety of all animals in the house, myself, and my child. All of my dogs are crate trained for overnight and whenever no one is home.

About: I did the animal science program at boces for 2 years where I got to get hands on experience with all kinds of animals such as dogs, lizards, honey bees, Guinea pigs, snake, alpacas, rats, and more. Due to taking the animal science program I am certified as a veterinary assistant. I also have 2 cats of my own that I’ve had and taken care of since I was 11 and my sister has 2 cats also one that I’ve helped taken care of since I was 10 and the other for the 3 years we’ve had her. I also have a rat that I’ve had for 3 years. Because I can’t really put this anywhere else for boarding services I can only do up to 3 overnight stays. It fits into my schedule for the summer because of college break because I won’t have school at all and I’ll be able to give a majority of my time to your pets. Be up front and open. About: I have loved and worked with animals for as long as I can remember. I have always had pets in my house until now and would love to be able to help someone out while also spending time with their best furry friend(s). I love walking and being outside just as much as I love animals so your pets will definitely get the exercise that they need while still being carefully cared for and loved of course. About: I’ve been a pet owner for more than 15 years, having adopted, trained and loved both dogs and cats. Particularly well equipped for energetic dogs as I’ve mostly owned Australian shepherds. We live on a beautiful farm with lots of room to run and pets of our own who always welcome new friends. I’m also available to visit your fur family throughout the day for play dates, walks or just to say hello. I also have experience with birds, small mammals and smaller farm animals, being a trained wildlife biologist with experience working with many domestic species. I’m also fairly flexible with scheduling. I work remotely and have tremendous flexibility in my schedule to be home for the majority of the work day or to step out for walks and play dates for up to 2 hours at a time. For care in my home: I do not have a fenced in yard so any pets that visit my home would need to either be able to be off leash, or comfortable being leashed. I have room to accommodate a crate for those that need or prefer one, otherwise pets would have full access to the lower level of the house. I have one very friendly dog, Pete, and two cats who are also friendly with dogs. In your home: I’m able to work with whatever your pets preferences and needs require. I’m comfortable with most any situation, and have seen it all when it comes to pets.
