About: Peppy Pet Care was launched at the end of 2018 in Ithaca, NY by myself and my animal-loving, entrepreneurial eleven year old daughter. About: I've always had dogs & cats growing up. Recently, my husband & I rescued a puppy from North Carolina, named Mack. He is the light of our life. In July of 2025, we had to put our 14 year old dog, Roxie, down.. This was very depressing as she was the best girl. I love to be around dogs, and want to ensure they get the best care, whether that be walking or playing ball/fetch, or just snuggles. I hope you reach out for any needs! I currently work full time about 20 minutes from my home, which allows me a greater radius to care for your loved one. I work M-F 8am-4pm (roughly), so I am available for any after work or weekend assistance. I have a fully fenced in yard for my dog to play in. We play ball multiple times throughout the day. He is up to date on his vaccines, and we ensure that he receives any care he might need. I am trained to notice any significant behaviors or concerns, and will address this ASAP.

About: I actively foster dogs/puppies on a consistent basis for several years. I've worked with the same Animal Rescue for a long period of time and have experience with many different situations. With the Rescue I regularly handle different scenarios and medical needs, from new born pups to seniors! I'm comfortable with all shapes, sizes, and medical history. Most temperaments I have lots of experience with as well. I work from home full-time. I'm home all day every day Monday-Friday. My weekends only consist of a few errands making me gone for no longer than 4-5 hours at a time. I have a 7ft tall, fully fenced, back yard. I can kennel a dog if needed, but generally they would be out hanging with me. No dog will be left unattended, inside or outside, for long periods of time. About: I've cared for dogs of different sizes over the years and I love to cuddle, walk, and pamper pups. We have a fenced in back yard and I like to take long walks with dogs if they're up for it. We have a 4 year old boxer/hound mix who is sweet with people but not great with other dogs. We keep him away from guest dogs, there's lots of room in the house for each dog to have their own space and still get lots of love from me and the family. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I take breaks through the day to care for puppies, whether that's a quick potty break, fun walk, or play time with balls and toys. When boarding, I make sure pups get any meds they need, plenty of time outside, and snuggles on the couch (if they're the snuggling type). I know some dogs need longer or shorter walks, and I make adjustments based on what they need.

I am not grossed out by any mess your pet may make and will keep the space clean. Normally work 7-noon 3 days a week. My job is very flexible and could change to suite you and your pets needs! About: I have been surrounded by animals, primarily dogs, throughout my entire life. I would say that once I reached about high school age is when I understood the kinds of responsibilities that go into pet care. Not only have I been responsible for the dogs I've owned growing up, but I've helped take care of family and friends' animals throughout the years as well. I walk my two dogs, Coco and Finnley, at least twice a day. I always carry plenty of dog waste bags on me, so I'm definitely not afraid to get dirty! That being said, I can bathe your pet if needed with provided supplies. And while dogs may be my favorite, I am a very big animal enthusiast. I've had just as many, if not more, cats in my life as dogs while growing up, and my family and I rescued our bearded dragon Olivia, whom we've learned a lot about when it comes to the tlc she needs. I work part-time as a teacher's assistant, but my schedule is quite flexible! I'll just need to be notified in advance when you would need me to stop by, preferably a few days in advance. If I happen to be working on a day you need me, I can drop by as soon as possible, so around late afternoon. I am almost always available on the weekends! I mostly deal with walking dogs, however I can do the occasional drop-by if needed. My own dogs have a fenced in area that I let them into about every hour to relieve themselves, and depending on the weather, they stay outside for around 10-15, of course while keeping a close eye on them. I am more then willing to do the same for your pet if you too have a fenced in yard. Just give me any extra details if necessary and I'm more than happy to help!

Both my dogs are over the rainbow bridge now but we had a long loving journey together. One was a Lab mix and the other was a Husky rhodesian ridgeback mix. I work from home allowing my schedule to be flexible and your dog to be with a human 24/7 if needed. I would typically take my dogs to run errands and pick up and drop off the kids to school. If your dog likes car rides and you are comfortable with that they are welcome to always tag along. If they do not like car rides they can be crated or left out in the home. I always use leashes for walks as we do not have a fenced in yard. I do have crates if your dog needs that for any time away or feeling comfortable (depending on how you work with your dog).

“This was our first time using Rover and we are so glad we found Beth. We had the same dog sitter for 20 years, but she retired and we were nervous about finding a new one. Beth was great right from the start. She immediately responded to my inquiry and set up a date to meet. It was clear from the beginning she understood dogs. She was very calm and sweet with our lab Lily. We later left Lily for a long weekend which turned into a very cold, heavy snow few days! Beth made sure Lily still had long, daily walks and fun rolls in the snow. She sent us daily photos and even a video of Lily playing catch which is one of her favorite things to do. We ended up having our flight canceled due to the storm and Beth was so great about keeping her an extra day relieving us of a lot of worry.
