“Patrick blew my expectations out of the water. He was absolutely fantastic. On time, courteous and friendly. I hope he is willing and available if we need cover in the future. Amazing!”

About: Hi! I’m Shawna — Unlike a regular dog walker, I provide one hour structured walk/runs to safely burn excess energy and reinforce calm leash behavior — ideal for high-drive dogs. I specialize in structured walks (working with dogs that pull the leash) and 2+ mile minimum walk/runs to help dogs burn energy and feel calm. I’m comfortable with strong-willed or high-energy pups. Whether your dog needs a peaceful walk, consistent leash guidance, or a good run, I bring calm, confident energy and real experience. Some dogs thrive on variety! If you’d like your pup to enjoy the beach, trails, or a park, I offer 1hr adventure outings starting at $120. This includes transport up to one hour drive time round trip, a safe and fun outdoor experience, and drop-off back home. Extra driving is billed at $60/hr (not including my own commute). Let me help your dog stay happy, tired, and well-exercised. A tired dog is a happy dog. Caring for animals is already a part of my everyday life. I have a high-energy cattle dog of my own, so daily walks, playtime, and structure are built into my routine. I’m also a runner, so exercising dogs through long walks or runs fits naturally into my schedule — it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I plan my days around being active and outside, which makes it easy for me to give pets the time, attention, and movement they need I’m happy to care for pets in their own familiar environment. I follow your pet’s routine closely, making sure they get the right balance of exercise, structure, and affection. I’ll respect your space, keep things clean, and communicate clearly while you’re away. I always aim to make your pet feel safe, loved, and calm while you’re gone — and make the transition as stress-free as possible for both of you

“Celeste stepped in on super short notice, walked my dog for an hour, and was incredibly accommodating and friendly. My dog loved them, and I would definitely hire her again. Highly recommend!”

About: With 4 years of hands-on experience in pet care, I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’m certified in dog CPR and have multiple dog handling certifications, which means your pup’s safety is always my top priority. I’ve cared for energetic puppies who need structure and training, as well as senior dogs who require patience, gentle handling, and extra love. I treat every dog like my own, with respect, understanding, and lots of belly rubs! Pet care is a big part of my everyday life. I currently work part-time as a kennel technician, so I’m already caring for animals daily feeding, cleaning, monitoring health, administering meds, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. Outside of that, I make time each week for pet sitting and drop-in visits. My schedule fluctuates so I always try to work my schedule around yours! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I always focus on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment that feels familiar and stress-free for them. In clients' homes, I stick closely to your pet’s routine regarding feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication, and any house rules you’ve set. I make sure they feel comfortable in their own space while keeping you updated with photos and messages. When pets stay with me, they get a clean, pet-friendly space with plenty of attention, enrichment, and quiet time to relax. I limit the number of animals I care for at once to make sure each one gets the time and care they deserve. Your pet's comfort and safety always come first, no matter where they are.

About: I love animals of all kinds: dogs, cats, geckos, etc. My kids have left home and I have the time to care for your sweet fur-babies. I work from home 3 days a week and can easily help with your pet care needs on those days and on any given weekend. I offer pet walking, potty breaks, feeding, socializing, boarding and very limited grooming (brushing if needed). Your pet stays in the room with me as I work and we go for walks or into the yard as instructed by you.

About: Hi, I'm Nora. Animals have been my constant companions and teachers throughout my life. I've had dogs since I was kid. Most of my friends have dogs or cat or both, so I took care of them many times while they were traveling. I have experience with a wide range of dog breeds from Chihuahuas, over various Terriers, Poodles, Pitbulls, Frenchies, Maltese, Newfoundlander, German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Labradoodles, to Great Pyrenees. Observing dogs and their behavior has always been of great interest to me. If you let them in your bed, without fail, they will all take you up on the offer. ☺️✨️ My heart also belongs to cats, I've had them and been surrounded by them since childhood. They've shown me the joys of connecting deeply with the feline guardians. Over the years, I have house sat for cats, enjoying every moment of caring for, playing with, and observing them in their unique ways. I'm here to provide attentive, caring support for your pets, ensuring they're happy and comfortable while you're away. I set my own schedule so I can fit in dog walks and drop-ins. Plan the day and service in hour-long slots and certain breaks. I live in a home with my partner and two cats, so boarding of a dog who is cat friendly is possible sometimes. House sitting works great.

About: Hi! My name is Kiana, thank you for considering my profile. I have experience working with cats and dogs of various breeds, sizes and histories. I grew up with two small dogs and a rescue kitty. I am available to provide frequent potty breaks, treats and walks for your pet while you are away. Please reach out with any questions or concerns. I look forward to caring for your pet and learning more about their specific needs. I currently work a hybrid schedule going into the office on an as needed basis. I am available in the evenings M-F and all day Saturday and Sunday. Your pet’s safety remains my top priority. I look forward to discussing your specific pet’s needs and history prior to my first visit to ensure they feel safe and supported.

“Krista is a wonderful sitter and friend to our pup. He always comes back calm and with energy expended. She is a great communicator and goes above and beyond to take care of our baby when we can’t. Thank you, Krista!”

About: I am attending school at UCSC for legal studies and have a robust knowledge of dog parks, dog-friendly beaches and trails from Santa Cruz to the City! If you’d like to socialise your dog, you’re in luck because I have a 10-month-old baby 🐾 of my own. We have tons of doggo friends for your pooch to meet if you choose, and no matter what, your dog is getting top-tier handling and care when you trust working with me! If there are behaviours you’d like to work on or would like me to be aware of, please do not hesitate to reach out, and we can discuss them further. I am available for full time pet care and when school resumes come the New Year, I will be available part time + still available to board if needed. There has not been an hour where I have not been in the company of 1 or more dogs since June 2024 I have a fenced yard for the dogs to go potty and run uninhibited. I have a small scale toy operation which means the dogs will have plenty to keep them occupied and if he/she would like to go home with their favourites, we can arrange for that too. I am capable of pickup and drop off as well as supervised visits to the park, creeks, the beach, trails, etc.

About: When I was 10 I moved with my family and my neighbors had two Rottweilers that terrified me so much that I had to cross the street to walk by their house. One day I went up to my neighbor and asked to meet them and they ended up becoming my best friends in the neighborhood, and I would feed and walk them every-time my neighbors went out of town. Ever since then I have loved dogs no matter how big or scary, and have taken care of pets for my friends and family, from little cocker spaniels to German shepherds and everywhere in between. I am currently in the midst of a job search, so my availability is open to look after and pets for the time being. I have spent a lot of time this year pet/housesitting for my parents and a few of my friends. I currently do not have any pets at my home since I have a studio apartment with not a lot of space, but I have reliable transportation and I live close to a few parks, beaches, and woods where I take dogs that I am looking after. I’m good about sticking to scheduled walk and meal times and am a fairly active person so your dog will get plenty of exercise!

About: I’ve taken care of pets of many kinds for 30+ years…dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, geese, chickens, ducks. Neighbors and friends have called on me often when they need help and it’s become commonplace for me to help out (mostly dogs and cats). I had to lay my pug, Sadie, to rest recently (16 1/2 years) and taking care of other peoples pets just seemed like a natural segue. Have lots of experience with senior dogs and I even have a doggie stroller if you have a senior pet but you still want them out and about! Otherwise, love taking them for walks on the beach or around town or just chilling at home , if that’s more their style. Most important, your pets will be SAFE with me and well loved I’m retired but I do work one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon taking an autistic child back and forth to school (not my child)so I can devote the rest of my time to your pets Multiple walks per day and currently no other pets or children in my home. Live in a gated community and the area has little traffic . If at a clients home, I find out what their pet usually does and try to follow their routine. When mom and dad are gone, routine helps them feel safer

About: I have learned so much about caring for dogs and cats. I love giving all babies the attention they need. They are safe in my hands. I currently work part time as a receptionist 3 days a week. I also attend Cosmetology school 4 nights a week. In my free time I would be walking or sitting dogs I would carefully read the pet descriptions to identify any needs the pet may need. If I were to have any questions I won’t hesitate to contact the owner

Nora S.
“For the past 10 years, Nora has been my go-to choice whenever I need someone to look after my home and beloved pets while I am away - which is no easy task! Not only do I have 3 dogs and 5 cats, I also have a non-profit cat rescue in Los Angeles and often have numerous foster cats and kittens in my care for adoption. Nora goes ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure the well-being and comfort of both my home and my animals under her care. She approaches her responsibilities with meticulous attention to detail, making sure that everything runs smoothly in my absence. Her commitment to providing top-notch service is evident in every interaction I've had with her. What sets Nora apart from other sitters that I have used is her genuine love for animals and her intuitive understanding of their needs. She's an "animal communicator" and forms genuine connections with my pets, providing them with the affection, companionship, and exercise they require. I have complete peace of mind knowing that my furry friends are in Nora's capable hands. Moreover, Nora demonstrates remarkable professionalism and reliability in her work. She communicates promptly with phone calls, videos and texts, keeping me updated on any developments and addressing any concerns that may arise. Her responsible and trustworthy nature has earned her my utmost respect and confidence. In addition to her excellent pet care skills, Nora also shows great respect for the homes she looks after. She has had a longtime career in upscale property management winning numerous company awards for her outstanding service. She treats my "old" home with the care and respect and because of her training, Nora is well versed in knowing to address common problems that come up such as: plumbing, electrical, water, plant care, and constructional issues. I cannot recommend Nora highly enough and commend her dedication to providing exceptional service. She is a blessing in my life and has become a dear friend. Because of Nora I feel safe to travel away from home for business or a long vacation and you will too!”

Jacob T.
“Jacob is hands down the biggest dog lover I have ever met. I think he might be part dog himself! My 4 year old beagle stayed with Jacob for a week while I was out of town and received so much attention, exercise, and doting that I would almost say he was disappointed to leave. It's great knowing I have a reliable pet sitter in town who treats my pup like the king he is. If you want piece of mind while traveling and lots of pet pictures, let Jacob take care of them next time!”

Denise D.
“Denise Delladora is a total animal lover and especially loves dogs. We had a border collie, Charlie, that she would watch for us when we had to travel out of town for a weekend and a few times as long as a week. Charlie loved Denise and felt right at home with her. She made sure that he was walked regularly and got plenty of ball catching playtime. Charlie was a very sensitive dog, and very smart, and a bit shy around some people, but he loved Denise. She has watched a mutual friend's two very elderly dogs for weeks at a time, taking excellent care of them. She also had a couple of Pugs that she treated like they were her children. If I had to pick the perfect job for Denise, it would be someone taking care of pets, especially dogs.”
