“This was my first time using the rover site and having Lucinda care for our pets while we were away - absolutely wonderful - the process and how easy it was and how terrific Lucinda was! I felt relieved to find someone so great that I could trust. I will definitely try and book Lucinda for our next trip!”

“Nadine dropped in to feed/check in on my cats while I was away for a week. My least favorite part of traveling is leaving my three cats, and Nadine did an amazing job of helping me feel comfortable while I was gone, knowing they were well cared for. My cats were NOT cooperative with showing themselves for her, but she went out of her way to get eyes on them so I knew they had been eating and were okay. Nadine was communicative and made sure I was comfortable with how she handled taking care of my babies since they didn’t cooperate with my original care plan. I came home to clean litter boxes, she had taken the trash out, and did some extra above and beyond chores/tasks without being asked. I will never enjoy leaving my cats behind while I travel, but I would 100% have Nadine return to take care of them. Your pets will be in great hands with her!!”

“Nicole did a great job checking in and feeding our cats. She provided us with pictures and daily updates. I would highly recommend her. Thank you Nicole for taking care of our cats.”

“Denise did a great job watching our cats! She cared for our pets meticulously, and gave gave them each individual attention. Denise communicated clearly, and dependably carried out the tasks we had requested. Highly Recommended.”

About: I’m an absolute animal lover of all kinds! I have over 14 years of experience between all sizes of animals, ranging from my small bunny to my large dogs! I’ve administered various animal medications and insulin shots to animals with diabetes. Animal care and health has always been important to me. There have been various situations where family members and friends have had me take care of their pets for weeks at a time! I’m currently taking remote classes, before heading off to nursing school in the winter. Due to this, my schedule is open and flexible to best fit your pet care needs! When taking care of your pets at your home, I will be very diligent on following the schedule and routine that you provide for me to follow.

About: I don’t discriminate against any type of breed. I care for them as they are my own . There is no problem for me in giving medications, if needed. I currently work full time . They would be taken care of in the morning, if needed at lunch time . Once done my normal work day, then I would go back to them for however long was needed . In the clients home : We would play, go for walks if the dog enjoys them . I like to snuggle and sit with them, I will converse with them . I always make sure they have fresh water .

“It was such a comfort to have Heather take care of my kitties. She watered my Mom's flowers, took in the mail and provided daily updates and pictures. I'll definitely hire her again!”

About: I'm new to the pet service job, but I've owned two dogs since they were puppies. I have visited cats to clean their boxes and play with them, on behalf of friends that went away. I'm currently unemployed doing part-time jobs, so I have a lot of availability. I love both dogs and cats, and don't mind playing with them. I make sure my 6-year old Jack Russel mix, Finn, gets plenty of exercise and socialization. I take long walks in my neighborhood and enjoy taking him to the dog park.

About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats and have always been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family. I have experience with everything from energetic puppies to chill senior cats, and I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, cleaning up messes, and giving meds if needed. I truly love spending time with animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether it’s a quick walk or a full weekend of care, I’m here to help and make your pet feel safe and happy. I am a college student with only a babysitting job at the moment! I can do early mornings, any time after 5pm and any time on the weekends! Caring for pets means ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times. I maintain a calm, clean environment, follow routines, and build trust through gentle, attentive care. I respect each pet’s unique needs, provide proper food, water, and exercise, and stay alert for any signs of stress or illness. Whether in my home or a client’s, I prioritize security (closed gates/doors, safe toys) and maintain clear communication with owners.

About: I have grown up with pets my whole life. I truly cannot imagine living a life without a furry family member! In my lifetime, we have had a total of 6 pets, half of them being strays or rescues. One of our cats got diabetes and I had to give him insulin shots. My one dog Lexi got cancer and I had to pick her up to go out to pee as she lost control in her legs (she was a large golden doodle). Our one cat Hoodie was a feral kitten that we found hiding in the hood of my mom’s car. We were able to domesticate her and now she’s a fat happy house cat. Overall I have experience with all ages, including seniors, and strays. I currently work at Rowan University, working their summer theatre camp. I have a lot of availability as that is only in the mornings/afternoons and my weekends are free. I care with pets with love and respect. I treat them as part of the family rather than a pet. I am very responsible as I work with kids on the daily. I exude patience, kindness, and understanding and lead my work with this always in mind.

“Ashley took great care of our kitties while we were away! She kept us well informed about how they were doing and sent us lots of pictures of our boys. I would highly recommend her to sit anyone’s fur babies!”

“Kristie is great! Within a week she came to house and met dogs twice to get familiar! We have two large Pitbulls that can be intimidating looking and she did not blink an eye to take care of them! Highly recommended!!”

About: I have had a family pet (cats, dogs, fish) my whole life and have pet sit for friends and family as well! I also am a foster for a local cat adoption non profit. I work from home, and have the ability to keep your furry family company throughout the day and ensure frequent breaks to go for walks and get outside as needed. We have a big fenced backyard that is perfect for playing and exploring! We also live on a dead end street with sidewalks, perfect for safe and quiet walks outdoors.

“Dawn was great with my 2 big goofy shepherd mixes! She was available last minute do a meet and greet and do drop ins (let them out and feed them) during a holiday. She was accommodating to a last minute additional drop in and followed my instructions to a T for everything. I felt very comfortable with her taking care of my babies. Thanks again!”

“Chelsea is a godsend. She was so thorough with extra needs, and understanding of our quirky situation where two of our cats are just strays we've adopted that live outside. We'll definitely be booking her again!”

“We have 7 cats between 2 households and Julia sent photos and updated me every step of the way via texts while we were away. Our normal caregiver, who is not with Rover.com, backed out on us 4 days before we were going away and Julia was glad to help and arranged a meet and greet right away to learn where everything was and when to feed the kitty crew. If I had any questions about how things were going, Julia got back to me within a few minutes. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a pet care giver.”
