About: I've had guinea pigs all my life, and I have taken care of my friends and families dogs and cats. Taking care of animals is a huge passion of mine, and I take it very seriously I have a lot of free time on my hands and would be available anytime of the week. If something does come up on my schedule I will let you know. I would prefer to take care of your animals in your own home and would be able to stay over or check in on them as much as you want.

About: I have had animals since I was a little girl. From mice, guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs and cats- I’ve taken care of them all! Last year I took in my mom’s dog since she moved and couldn’t take her along, so technically this is my first time owning a dog (on my own), but there has always been either a dog or a cat in my home growing up, so I have dealt with it all- accidents, anxiousness, and everything in between. I have also been able to teach my dog some new basic tricks, despite her being 13! I am very patient, determined, and caring. I currently work full time, 2nd shift 3p-11:30pm, so I am available M-F up until 2pm when I need to start getting ready for work. I wake up early and take my dog out right away, then again in about 3ish hours, and then right before I leave for work to ensure that I don’t come home to an accident, and then she potties and eats dinner when I get home. On the weekends, I’m home probably 90% of the time, so we go to the museum, dog park, and for the most part, she runs all of my errands with me! Despite me living in an apartment, I do still have a yard in the front and the back of the building, so if my dog (or yours) isn’t feeling up for a walk (or the weather isn’t great) there is still grass for them to go to the bathroom. I do not mind about my dog being on my furniture- it’s her house too! That is how it would be for your pet too! I also have a small balcony, where me and her sit and hang out for some fresh air.

Jess was incredibly caring with my four cats while we were away in Greece for two weeks. My senior cat requires daily medication and extra monitoring due to his diabetes, and Jess did a fantastic job making sure he was eating well, taking his medication, and using the litter box normally. She also made sure my three one-year-old babies were well cared for and gave them plenty of extra playtime to help burn off all that kitten energy. Jess was excellent with communication and sent daily updates and photos of the babies. I was able to fully relax and enjoy my vacation knowing they were in such good hands. It’s also clear that Jess truly loves animals. She cared not only for our cats, but also for the neighborhood stray cats, and even adopted one of the sweet strays and gave him a loving home. Jess left a wonderful gift bag for the cats, and we came home to happy, well-cared-for babies and a clean house.
