About: Ive always preferred animals to people. As a dog groomer of 4 1/2 years, I’ve seen dogs so small they can nearly fit in the palm of your hand, and dogs so big we need 3 people to lift them into the tub. I’ve dogsat for my coworkers as well as clients of the shop. I’ve dogsat as many as 8 dogs for my coworker, and as few as one:) As of right now I’m not working, so for the most part I have an almost free schedule:) Because of my partners job I have to come back to my apartment to feed and check on our cats. I also have certain appointments that may fall on days I’m dogsitting, but those often don’t exceed 2 hours:) When able, I prefer the people I pet sit for to write down any specific instructions like how much food and when, any medications, any extra house care like watering plants etc. I can crate your dog if needed and take them on walks. My care is personalized to you and your pets needs:)

“Autumn stayed with my three dogs for a week while I was away. She was so great with them! She handled my old dog and my reactive little dog so well. I appreciate how much time she spent with them! Other sitters I’ve used just pop in for meals and leave, then come back close to midnight, only to sleep and take off again in the morning. Autumn actually spent time with them. I always worry about the old guy falling…and the reactive one is a handful…absolutely no worries with her here! Another review noted how clean she was - and they were right - you’d never know she was here…not that I would have minded a mess, as my 3 dogs are a handful and she was so great with them. Best River experience ever, and I’ve had several.”

About: Hi, I’m Avery (Julie)! At the moment I do not have any pets of my own…yet keep dog treats in my mailbox for passers by. I have had dogs and cats in my life since I can remember. I have had 5 dogs at a time, and know how to lead, and listen. Highly intuitive and super happy person who genuinely cares about connection with animals. I am a communicative person and can definitely assist in helping with your pets - keeping you informed of their well being. Currently I am available on week nights after 4pm, and weekends, yet I retire very soon so will have time to attend during the week days. My home is very comfortable and there is enough space for pets to have room to explore. I have a fenced front and back yard. I also have a cooled sunroom that will also be available for summer or windy days.
