About: I have cared for a variety of animals and am comfortable caring for any pet (including exotic or uncommon), any age, any size, any level of care, and any personality! I have past experience caring for senior animals (including dogs, cats, and horses) as well as animals under age 1 (including dogs and cats). I often volunteer at the Birmingham Humane Society! Although I am not offering training services, I have experience training and am willing to uphold any training regimen. I have experience shadowing a household pet veterinarian as well as an equine veterinarian. I also have farm animal care experience. I love playtime and am very attentive! I am very excited to care for your pet! I am available to sit weekends and after 7 pm on weekdays. I can do daytime feedings or walks 2 or 3 times a day. I am available for boarding weekends and weekdays after 7 pm. My apartment is the perfect environment for boarding! I am available for boarding some weekdays all day, but I will need notice 5 days and to coordinate in advance for boarding on a weekday before 7 pm due to shifting schedule days. For walks, let me know an estimated average walk time for your pet so that they are comfortable and happy! For sitting, I will clean any pet messes if needed. Require a decently clean home and closer distance if overnight sitting is needed. Please, let me know of any concerns ahead of time. For boarding, I am in a one bedroom apartment with no other pets and decent play space. I have no toys, litter boxes, or cat trees so will need to provide their own. I live next to a large unfenced park. The apartment is clean and tidy and safe for pets. The apartment building also has a pet bathing station available if your pet needs cleaning. If you are concerned with a public bathing station, I am perfectly comfortable bathing your pet in the bath in my apartment. Please, let me know of any health or hygiene issues beforehand. Medications/allergies/health concerns are extremely important to me.

About: I would love to walk/ hike with your pet, care for it at your home, or drop in to let them out. I have always loved animals ever since I was little. My first job was a pet sitting service, I was frequently asked to watch neighbors dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, etc. My friends often rely on me to take care of their animals while out of town and I have experience with older dogs as well as puppies. My dog passed away earlier this year and I won't be ready for anther dog anytime soon, but I would love to share love with your animals. I work seasonally and am currently off for my winter season. I would love to spend time with your animals either at your home or on walks/hikes! I can not watch pets in my own home but in my client's home I make sure to follow their rules and ask the important questions up front. I make sure to not leave pets alone too long and to be there for feeding times and to keep them company at night.

I have a big front yard to and it on a two acres of land I have 2 friendly dogs and they love to run and have fun we have play time game time and I take them to the dog park that they just love to play in .
About: I’ve always had cats, and usually they were strays that we took in. As a teenager, I would pet sit for my neighbors frequently when they were out of town- cats and dogs! I had two dogs growing up. Now as an adult, I have 2 cats of my own, Sinclair (5yo male) and Petal (1yo female)! For most of June and July I will be free week days and weekends! About: I love just animals! Growing up we always had pets ranging from turtles, cats, fish, dogs, birds and horses. Animals have always been part of my life, and I've learned so much from them. I had a beloved mini-dachshund for six years and was always a bit of a worry wort when someone watched my pup. I wanted to know she was always safe, happy and well-cared for. So, after being a reliable dog-sitter for a fellow teacher for several years I realized providing a service like this would allow me to reconnect with animals while earning extra money and also serving families with excellent care for their furry family members. I love walking, playing and snuggling with dogs, cats and just about any critter of all sizes and ages, and I would love to make your pet be as safe, happy and well-cared for as I expected mine to be. I work as a full time teacher so during the school year I would serve best as a weekend sitter. However, I am available during the week as well for most holidays and most of the summer. I have a one bedroom apartment which helps me to know where and what your pet is doing almost all of the time. I live in an area that has lots of nature intact and is very dog friendly. There are two dog friendly “tennis courts” available to allow young and high energy dogs run off leash to catch a ball, frisbee or stick or play with other dog friendly pups. For house sitting stays, I am flexible and can accommodate most anyone’s unique set up and pet needs. One thing to note is that I am currently in the process of adopting my six year old niece who would accompany me for house sitting.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
