About: I have taken care of dogs for the past 5 years, including a chihuahua of my own and my family’s dogs. I have experience raising puppies and caring for senior dogs as well. Even though every dog is different, I am able to provide adequate care and attention to every fur baby that I have the privilege of looking after. I am currently a student and have plenty of down time when I am not at school. This includes Fridays and Weekends and I can be pretty flexible with time! I keep frequent communication with pet owners, I’m able to accommodate to a dog needs, and am pretty knowledgeable about dog behavior to know their needs.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and would do some pet sitting during college. Growing up dogs have been part of the family and I will treat your pets with the same respect, care, and love. Im a behavioral therapist for kids during the week, but my weekends are open for your fur babies! I’m also available for pet drop ins after 5pm during the week! I will be sure to take any necessary precautions as needed for your pets’ health and safety. I can assure you they’ll be well taken care of with me!

About: As a longtime dog owner myself, I know how important it is to have someone you genuinely trust caring for your pet. I’ve spent the past 8 years caring for my own dog through different stages of life and am very comfortable with daily walks, feeding routines, medications, special diets, senior dogs, and pets who may need a little extra patience or attention. I’m also a certified Physician Assistant, so being dependable, attentive to detail, and calm in unexpected situations comes naturally to me. I’m happy to follow detailed care instructions and will treat your pet’s routine as carefully as I would my own. I also know how reassuring updates can be when you’re away, so you can expect plenty of communication and photos! I currently have a very flexible schedule while transitioning into my first position as a Physician Assistant, which gives me plenty of availability for weekday and weekend walks and drop-in visits. I’m happy to help with both occasional care and a consistent schedule for families who need recurring visits. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet and entering your home. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine and care instructions closely, including feeding, walks, medications, and any special needs. I have most of the day to take care of your fur babies. I have 2 fenced in yards with a glass sliding door. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I follow the pet’s normal routine. I provide fresh food and water. I give exercise and playtime. I monitor health and behavior. I administer medications if needed. I keep the space clean and safe. I give attention and comfort.

About: I’ve been around all types of animals my whole life. I love to spend time with pets and be able to help out. I am active and can run around with your pets or sit and chill with them. I am a full time student in College at Samford University. Where I am on the track team and in sorority life. This would be a side hustle for me but that doesn’t mean I will put in any less effort. This is something I love to do. I have one loving dog of my own. I understand that pets need space sometimes and can recognize that. I love to give rubs and treats when deserved and play with them.

About: I honestly enjoy dogs and cats more than most people, sorry not sorry 😆. There’s just something about the trusting love of an animal that brings joy to life/my world. I’ve been a dog owner for over 15 years, first to my sweet Charlie - no longer with us; and now to our foster fail Maya. Charlie was a border collie who never ran out of energy. Like, ever 😆. Maya is a more settled gal, but she still loves a good walk/hike as long as a nap comes afterwards. I’ve also been a cat mom, and cat foster mom for over 20 years. Our Sophie & Evie keep us on our toes requesting frequent snuggles, play time, treats, and nap time in our laps 💜🐾 If it’s not already evident, I firmly believe: pets are family, and pets have rights to autonomy/boundaries with people and other animals. I fully expect pet owners to have the same standards of care for selecting someone to help with their pet as I believe they’d use to choose a babysitter for their human kiddos. I happily respect and help maintain people’s rules for their pets (but all y’all that say they can’t get on the couch need an intervention 🙃😉 I’m just saying). Let’s chat about how to help your pets live their best lives when you can’t be with them - whether that’s walks, stop in visits, boarding in my home or other care needs. I work from home and have a fair amount of flexibility in my schedule. I’m able to do drop in visits to feed, administer meds, let dogs out, attend to cat boxes etc. and during my visits I will also provide a bit of attention and interaction for your pets if they desire it - I’m not just a run in and run back out sitter ☺️ I provide in home boarding and doggy day care at my home, where they have access to our fully fenced backyard for potty visits and playtime (weather safety dependent). I will probably only offer cat care visits to your home, as I have our 2 girls here full time as well as often having a foster kitten/cat or 2. I will be happy to cater a care plan that best suits your requirements and your cat’s needs.

About: I current work at the Birmingham zoo, I have worked in numerous wildlife environments as well as doggie day care. I grew up on a farm and have never not had a dog in my life. Animals are literally my livelihood, so I can handle whatever you want to throw at me! :) I work Friday - Tuesday, from 7AM -4PM.So, I can do any pet care after 4PM on those days. On Wednesday and Thursday I can do any time! I have handle dogs who have electric fencing, closed in fencing, no fencing, on a leash, whatever is needed I promise I have experienced and can adapt.
