Doggy Day Care Midway

About: Friends, coworkers, and family members have trusted me with taking care of their pets over the years. Most of my formal experience with caring for other peoples pets came during and after college, however I was raised around pets (cats and dogs) and learned how to be safe and responsible with animals when I was very little. I am very comfortable with a variety of breeds and temperaments. I have a good understanding of basic commands and have trained two of my own dogs from puppies. I grew up around dogs and cats (we had three golden retrievers at one point!) and always looked forward to getting a dog of my own. There is something about the bond between owner and dog that is special and unique. I enjoy having this bond with my own dog but I also love meeting new animals and seeing their personalities come out as they get comfortable interacting. I have been exposed to many types of dogs while dog sitting, visiting local dog parks, and traveling with our dogs to pet friendly locations. I am familiar with caring for dogs that take oral medication and/or have health problems such as limited sight or blindness. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about hiring me for boarding, dog walking, check-ins, or dog day care! I have one small child in the home, so any dogs staying with us during the day or overnight would need to be comfortable and well behaved enough to be around a young child. I wake up early and go to bed around 9pm/10pm. I have one dog in the home who is very friendly and well socialized. He takes little to no time to warm up to other dogs when introduced. Your dog will have plenty of space to be comfortable to chill and play! We enjoy spending time outside on nice days. When it is too hot or cold outside I make sure our pup gets playtime or enrichment toys/treats inside. I currently can offer dog walking services, daily check-ins for cats or dogs, and day/night boarding at our home (as long as your pet is a good and safe fit for a home with a small child). We have a large front and backyard as well as a carport/porch area. There is plenty of space for playing fetch, having the zoomies, or chewing on a treat while getting some fresh air, rain or shine! If your dog requires being leashed/walked when going potty, that is no problem. There is plenty of space to take them around the yard for sniffs and potty, as well as walkable streets near our house, and a beautiful park with a walking trail less than 2 minutes away. Our dog currently follows recall and commands to do his "business" and come back, but if we are caring for another dog we will leash them both or follow the owner's preferences and what they are comfortable with.

As a nurse, I work only 3 days a week, which means I’m home the majority of the week with plenty of time and energy to care for pets. On my days off, I plan my routine around feeding, walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddle sessions. Even on the days I’m working, my husband, who has just as much experience with dogs as I do, takes over to ensure pets are safe, happy, and cared for. We truly enjoy having dogs around and treat every one like our own! In my home, pets are treated like part of the family! We have a fully fenced backyard in a quiet, safe neighborhood, perfect for pups to run, play, and get plenty of fresh air. Inside, there’s lots of space for lounging and relaxing, and I always make sure pets are comfortable, well-fed, and getting plenty of love and attention throughout the day. Whether it’s playtime, mealtime, or just some cozy cuddles, I follow each pet’s routine closely to make sure they feel right at home.

About: I have had 3 dogs in the past and have taken care of stray cats. I’m willing to work potentially any issues that will arise, I take puppies seniors kittens and everything in between. I can accommodate most special needs! I’m home majority of the time! I can accommodate walks, play, bathing, feeding and exercise. I can provide overnight care or and day visits, drop in visits within a certain range from my location. I have a spacious field for your pets to sniff around in and a nice park nearby! I have a pet friendly dog for your animals to play with and get to know :)

About: I have worked in the pet industry for 13 years. Ever since I started working at a vet I started pet sitting as well. Starting out for my coworkers and then for clients that came into my job with their pets. I love taking care of and being around animals of all kinds since I was a little girl. I love what I do! I am currently a stay at home parent and I have no animals at this time, so my home is welcome for your fur babies :) Your baby would be well taken care of! They will get food, water, walks, bathroom breaks, and most importantly love! I do work full time but am home when I am not working so I would be able to hang out with your babies whenever I am not working. I can offer bathroom breaks every 2-4 hours when I’m not working, walks in the neighborhood, and plenty of love/attention. I have a three year old boy who love animals and knows how to play nicely and not be rough. I can also give oral medications if needed, I have experience with giving both liquid and pill form medications.

About: I have experience with many different breeds, sizes, and ages. I’ve been caring for dogs my whole life. My family had a dog when I was growing up that I helped care for and I’ve loved taking care of pets ever since. I will treat your dog like they’re my own- with so much love, lots of playtime and belly rubs, walks, and snuggles if they like. My schedule is extremely flexible during the week/weekends so I will have time throughout the day to spend with and care for your pet. Your dog is welcome to come stay at my house if we think it’s a good fit. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I do have a spacious yard that your dog can explore and run around. We live right outside of a nice walking neighborhood so if your pet likes to walk, walk we will! I have two friendly pups who love to play that will also be able to keep your pet company. I can crate your dog if that’s part of their routine.

About: I’ve always grown up with animals in the home, a home isn’t a home unless you here the pitter patter of those paws of the floor. Dogs are at the heart of my being and unfortunately you can only have so many. But the best way I’ve found to experience the love of all kind of dogs are through the caring for of everyone else’s four legged friend. I’ve always watched and cared for others animals off and on as a side income and personal enjoyment; giving all the love and attention they need while their human is away. All the way back when I was in high school, many years ago, I discovered the love and care for others dogs when I worked for the groomers and it’s never stopped since. My sweet Winter departed in 2020 after 13 long and steady years by my side and while I haven’t yet been ready to give my full heart away I’ve found great healing, giving lots of love, walks, baths, ball games, and lots of snuggs, All welcomed with love. After 10 years working in the field of Art Education and Public Art Coordination I decided to take the leap and start my business, Swift & Dapper LLC. Life is never one size fit all and too short to accept anything less that extraordinary whether that’s personal style or grooming, spacial reconfiguration or custom built carpentry, curated interiors or stunning professional services you have specific needs and you deserve nothing less than what you need and then some. S&D is happy to offer paw-fessional pet services. With a home based operations that leaves plenty of time for swing by visits or stay-cations for your special friend. They’ll have all the attention they need and anything else to ensure a happy and paw-sitive care. Our four legged friends should always be at home and feel comfortable. Fresh running water, soft comfy rugs and beds, and lots of fluffy blankets for those that like to snuggle up on the sofa for a movie. Our backyard is large and fenced in, ready for fetch and play time. We are used to having little furry ones (especially our neighbor’s little ones) wandering around and keep it in the front of mind always. Instructions for specific care are much appreciated and followed to the ledger.

About: I’ve personally had dogs my whole life! I have experience with caring for senior dogs as well as puppies. I have a special place in my heart for labs, but I love them all! I’ve yet to meet a dog I don’t like. As a dog owner myself, caring for pets is part of my everyday life. I love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable. For boarding, I offer Thursday evening drop-offs, and pets must be picked up by Sunday. This helps me ensure each pet gets the best care possible during their stay In my home, pets are treated like family. I have two friendly dogs of my own, Sunny and Ruby, so I understand the importance of maintaining a safe, loving, and structured environment. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication administration (if needed), and plenty of affection and attention.
