About: I have worked with all types of pets throughout my entire life! I have worked with everything from cats and dogs, to snakes and parakeets! I am a student-athlete and I will accommodate to.the best of my abilities. Let me know what times and days work best for you, and I will do what I can to adjust accordingly! My #1 goal is to ensure that the pet is happy and healthy when I am in it's care! I understand that new people can be frightening or scary to a companion animal. My job is to take my time to get to know these pets and make their time with me enjoyable and comfortable!

About: I grew up with all kinds of pets- dogs ranging from pomeranians to great danes, cats, reptiles, and small mammals. I spent some time working for a luxury dog hotel and daycare and have pet sat for many families over the years. Now, in addition to caring for people's furry friends, I also work as a holder for a mobile company that does dog, cat, and other pet nails. Pet care is my full-time job! When I'm not pet sitting or walking dogs, I'm helping with pet pedicures. My household is on a second shift schedule, so I can provide check ins later at night and I usually get around to my first morning check ins by 10 a.m. (unless you request earlier). I do not provide care in my home because I currently rent. In your home I am able to provide feeding, watering, potty breaks, play time and attention, (non-injected) medications, and more upon request. When walking your dog(s), I am very attentive and aware, and love providing your companions with positive reinforcement when exhibiting desirable behaviors. I go with your dog's pace, and even offer trips to the dog park if you believe your furry friend needs to get out more than a walks worth of energy!

About: I've helped take care of dogs for friends and family since I graduated from college in 2016. I'm a thoroughbred jockey currently off riding due to injury, and apprenticing to become a dog trainer. I have multiple friends that train dogs professionally, my personal dog sees multiple trainers regularly, and I learn new things every day. From obedience to behavior to nutrition, I value all of the practical use, knowledge, and love I can apply to any dog I get the opportunity to work with! I'm a thoroughbred jockey currently off riding due to injury. I have a lot of free time now, and I've started to fill it by gaining as much knowledge and practice in professional pet and sport training for dogs and cats. Rover is a way I may be able to help out my community by applying everything I'm learning for pets and people that need someone that cares about their animals the way I've cared about animals my whole life. At home, I have two lovely house cats and one rambunctious puppy. My cats like their space and will ask for love when they want it. My puppy needs structure in his day to balance activity, learning, enrichment, and rest. I am more than comfortable providing the kind of care any client wants for their furry family members. Whether that's daily enrichment, getting out in the world, or learning an off switch at home. I'm familiar with excited jumping on guests and earning trust from nervous or shy animals. I have Ruffland crash tested kennels in my car and can provide enrichment and new adventures if requested! If you don't have a fenced area around your home, and you are comfortable with it, I do have 20ft long lines I can use so the dogs get a chance to be outside to play and do their business while also ensuring their safety. I've always been an animal lover, and now that I have free time in my life, I want to provide knowledge and time for other animals and their humans that need a helping hand.

About: I have 2 years of experience as a veterinary assistant, and over my life I have had 2 dogs and 2 cats. I currently live with my adorable kitty. I love my cat so much and I would give your dog the same amount of care and love :) I am a college student and have class in the morning. On Wednesday and Fridays my day ends around 3:30 but the other days end between 10-12. Preferred to go into the client's home since I have pets myself. If you have specific requests for your animal, I try to abide by that as best as possible. With dogs, I prefer to always keep them on a leash outside if there is no fenced yard.

About: I’ve had dogs in my home since I was 9 years old, from 2 month old puppies to senior dogs, and taking care of them has been the best part of my day! I like to focus on mental stimulation as well as physical with dogs so they have a sound mind and body. I’m familiar with crate training, and puppy care, including a solid understanding of training the basics. I’m used to energetic and fast-paced dogs but I love my older and more mellow dogs as well! I’ve pet sat my fair share of cats and feel comfortable with them too. My Australian shepherd and I just moved out to Lexington recently, but I’m excited to offer my services now including recurring dog walking :) let me know if you have any questions for me! I am a flight student so that is my biggest time commitment which is 4 hours 3-4x a week. I know my schedule far out and can adjust my other responsibilities such as coursework and caring for my own dog and any other that may be in my care. I am never gone for too long and making sure the dogs are doing well is a priority that’s extremely important to me. If there is a yard, that will be utilized to the fullest, but I will take full advantage of what the neighborhood has to offer for fun walks/providing sufficient daily stimulation for the dog. I’m always respectful of the home and the routine the dog had prior to their person being gone. I’m super communicative, especially if things happen that are out of the ordinary, but also when things are normal so you’ll won’t have to wonder too much how your baby is doing!

About: I have over 30 years experience working with animals of all kinds. I have vet clinic experience, personal experience and am involved in animal rescue organizations. I also have a 13 year old Beagle named Ginger, a Pot belly Pig named Ellie and 2 spoiled cats. I am a former Drug and Alcohol Counselor and been married for 36 years. I have one adult son and a 12 year old granddaughter along with a 4 year old grandson. I am free most all day. I do Walmart deliveries throughout the day, it allows me time to do other things. I can make my own schedule. I have a smoke free home. I have a fenced in back yard that stays mowed. My Beagle is friendly and loves to play. My pot belly Pig, will ignore others and has her own bedroom.

About: I have been caring of a variety fur babies since I was a kid. I have experience with working with both younger and older fur babies. I am currently working while coming my masters online in counseling so I do have flexibility with working overnights. If need more availability please contact me. I have a fenced area at my apartment complex for dogs if needed. I have a variety of treats and toys for cats if needed.

Recurring drop ins, walks and overnight stays welcome. Last minute requests okay with quick confirmation. I will help to maintain the boundaries you have set for your household and I am comfortable working with all different pets. If there is a specific routine you have set up for your house I will abide by it.

About: I have experience caring for many different types of animals, including dogs and horses. I grew up around horses and have my own Chihuahua. I’ve also cared for a litter of six French Bulldog/Chihuahua mixes and have dog-sat for family, friends, and neighbors. I’m comfortable with feeding, playing, cleaning up after pets, and making sure they feel safe and cared for. I currently go to University of Kentucky and have classes every day from 9- 1 but could help with whatever your needs are before or after my classes ! Since I live in a dorm, I would provide pet care at the client’s home. About: Hi! I am a traveling healthcare professional working in Lexington looking to care for some fur babies! Depending on the distance I am available for overnight stays. I am available most weekends and some weekdays. I have 2 cats! I’ve had experience with dogs, cats, birds, small animals, fish, and some reptiles. I do work a full time job during the week. 12 hour shifts in Lexington. My weekends are available and weekdays will vary depending on my schedule. My cats are indoor. I do have one leash trained and we do take walks. One requires eye drops daily. 2 pet feedings per day as well.

For example, if I can take the pet hiking, to the park, for walks, etc. Also, does your pet get along with other animals, children, or people well, and does your pet get car sick? These variables are essential information for me to know to ensure the best care while you are away. Please note if your location is 40 miles, plus, in distance from my Rover given location, I charge for milage, for the traveling/distance in the initial reservation contact message for meet and greets.
