About: I have had dogs and cats in my life for over 50 years. I was so lucky to grow up in a home that was the local Noah’s Arc. This childhood formed my commitment and love to animals. About 20 years ago, I decided to enter the world of pure bred dogs and have been an avid exhibitor and breeder of Pointers and Ridgebacks focused always on good temperaments and health. I love dogs and really believe it’s important that each animal I care for, feels at home, comfortable, pampered, exercised and loved. I have 4 dogs that are super casual and it has been very easy to bring animals into my home. I will only take 1 or 2 dogs at a time, as I want to be able to provide the best care possible for them. Your animals are treated as though they are mine and the care and love they will experience can only be exceeded by you. It’s always stressful for animals to be away from their families, so the more I can do to relieve this stress, the better I feel. I always tease my clients that their dogs may come home a little spoiled. I’m very much available all day really to take care of the dogs as my schedule is very flexible. In addition my brother lives with me and he helps me take care of the dogs. There is always a person at our house while your dog will be visiting. I also offer a military discount for those that have or are serving our beautiful country. About: Hey there! I have grown up surrounded by dogs and have always shared special bonds with them. I currently have a 2-year-old cat, Sue, that my friend found while he was fishing. We lost her brother, Charlie, a couple years ago to cancer. He was a black lab pit mix and the best light to your day! I’m currently working part-time and am looking to supplement that with a few hobbies, and opportunities from here. I will try to make myself available as much as possible if you need me. Although I like it when animals are enjoying themselves, I value safety and can be firm when I need to be. I look forward to (hopefully) meeting you & your furry friends soon! We have our personal pets, some young, some seniors. Our boarding is excellent. We provide clean, beautiful private suites for all guests. Automatic water bowls provide constant fresh water. The rooms are well lit and cheerful with off the floor kuranda beds. Tv and music in each room provides comfort and activity. Pets are fed twice daily ( pup parent provides food). Exercise is available in each suites covered outdoor area. And plenty of run room is available 3 times daily in our large 6ft fenced area Snuggle time is important too and we make special time for it Our goal is to provide a loving and safe environment with a positive, calm experience for each pet. About: I’ve been a dog groomer for 1 year. That’s allowed me to learn many different dog breeds, as well as different behaviors styles and techniques for safety in dogs and cats. I’ve watched multiple animal at a time for 10+ years. I pride myself in following a strict schedule that’s given, as well as being sure medication is given if needed and animals are safe during the duration under my care. Taking videos and pictures to be sent while the owner is away is a given for me to make owners feel at ease while being away. My husband and I grew up on farms in Kentucky and have loved dogs all our lives. Reagan is sweet and smart, but mostly keeps to herself unless your dog wants to engage with her. We do have a cat named George and a young daughter, so it is important that your furry friend be comfortable around both. About: I've always been the first to volunteer to pet sit since I was a child, I'm an avid animal lover! When I lived in Guatemala, I was living in a place known as the 'Dog Hotel' because it was a street dog rescue and housed 20+ dogs at all times. These dogs of various breeds were my housemates, some of them even becoming my constant companion as I went about my daily life in the city. Now, I often watch our family golden retriever and take her with me everywhere, from hiking to work to dog friendly restaurants/cafes. I love to be active, so when permitted, your dog would get great exercise with me! Be it hiking, a long walk, or playful chasing through the yard, your pup will return to you very content. I work full-time and get home around 6:30pm, so if you need someone to care for your furry companion in the evening then I’m happy to come by and walk your dog or do a drop-in visit during the week! I will provide your pet with an extra-long walk and if your home is fenced in, I will also spend ample time outdoors to play with your pup, ensuring that they return to you very happy.
