About: At Bark & Board West Midtown, our goal is to provide a happy, healthy, and safe environment for your pet when they're away from home. We're pleased to offer the Health Care Commitment Program, which reimburses up to $500 for eligible expenses incurred during your pet’s stay. Enrollment is automatic when your pet attends daycare, covering treatments or diagnoses for incidents that occur during their stay or within 5 days after departure. If veterinary care is needed, we’ll attempt to consult with your pet’s primary vet. If unavailable, we work with local veterinarians to address any medical issues.

“Antonio is an amazing sitter! Very kind and respectful. I never had to worry about our dog because Antonio did such an amazing job with providing updates. Would highly recommend!”

“Book Jose asap !!! , You will not be disappointed. He is great with my pet. I am new to this process, and was very apprehensive, but he met me ahead of the drop off and my dog loved him. Jose is personal, professional and great with kids (dogs), lol. He regularly sent me pictures during my vacation and touched base with me to put me at ease. You should definitely book him, you will not be disappointed.”

About: At Doguroo, our goal is to provide a happy, healthy, and safe environment for your pet while they're away from home. If veterinary care is needed, we’ll attempt to consult with your pet’s primary vet. If unavailable, we work with local veterinarians to address any medical issues.

“Gaby was absolutely wonderful! She has a kind and welcoming personality and my pup was comfortable to make herself at home during the meet and greet. Gaby's communication with us was great - she texts back quickly and asked us how often we wanted updates on our pup during the stay. We got the cutest update pictures and she sent us home with a small picture collage we immediately placed on our fridge! Gaby was also really great in asking about any food specific requirements and medications and was happy to accommodate for my pup's cooked food which requires refrigeration and her supplement. There is more to say, but to wrap it up- my dog appeared happy and comfortable when I went to pick her up, and I felt worry free leaving her with Gaby. As an anxious dog parent to an older dog, I couldn't want anything more! We will definitely be booking her again in the future! For anyone else looking to book, I would recommend a smaller dog (mine is a little under 40lbs) as she lives in an apartment and one who is cat neutral/friendly.”

“I couldn’t be happier with the care Anika provided for Bentley ! From the moment I booked with her, she was communicative and professional. She took excellent care of my fur baby and kept me updated throughout the stay with plenty of pictures, which was so reassuring. It was clear that she really cares about the pets she looks after, and I could tell my dog was comfortable and happy with her. I would absolutely recommend Anika to anyone looking for a reliable and loving dog sitter. Thank you so much, Anika! I’ll definitely be booking again in the future!”

“Patty was awesome with my dog, Molina! She sent photos and videos while she was sitting for her and kept me in the loop about how the day was going. She took her on lots of walks, cuddles, and play time with other dogs. Patty made me feel so comfortable leaving Momo because I knew she was in safe and caring hands. 🐶🥰”

“Kessy was amazing with Foley! I had a last minute cancellation 10 days before leaving for Europe and Kessy was happy to help me out. Foley made herself right at home and got tons of snuggles from Kessy in return. She was responsive, polite and kept me well informed. I would definitely recommend and book Kessy again!”

“Ashley was amazing!! My pup is a fully blind puppy and she was so patient meeting his needs and accommodations. We came home and he was exhausted from such a fun week!”

“My 4 month old yorkie came back happy, fed, walked, and ready for a nap! We were visiting from Washington, D.C. and was in a crunch for a dogsitter once my boyfriend surprised me with concert tickets for the next day. I quickly logged onto dogvacay and came across Danielle who is accompanied by her 8year old yorkie Valentino; she quickly responded and confirmed our reservation. Danielle has a great spirit and being a dog owner of a yorkie herself a true love for dogs! She sent many pics and text throughout the overnight stay which made me have a worry free evening! A plus was her flexibility with time... We will be revisiting her and Valentino.”

“Erica and Andrew were the best! They were super in touch and made sure our girl was happy and comfortable, with lots of pictures and updates. We can’t wait to use them again!”

“Oladapo has kept my dog several times and he’s taken very good care of her every time. He’s our go-to when traveling as Coco does not like road trips and gets sick very time we travel. Glad to have someone to care for her during that time.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over three years, including my own sweet and semi-hyper 3 year old Maltipoo. I’ve looked after many of my friends’ dogs during that time and have gone through puppy training too. I really just love animals, especially dogs and cats (though I can only host dogs because of my pup). I’m super nurturing and very empathetic. I’m always thinking about how the dog is feeling and making sure they’re comfortable, happy, and well loved. I’m big on cuddles, lots of attention, and making dogs feel right at home. I also love spoiling pups with treats (of course, if allowed) and sometimes even get creative making fun ones myself. My partner and I both work from home, so your dog will get tons of company all day long. One of us is usually home, and if we ever step out, it’s never for more than four hours. Your pup will also have a built-in buddy, our very playful but gentle Maltipoo who loves having a friend around. We live in an apartment about 15 minutes walk from Piedmont Park but we also love taking long walks or going on weekend hikes. I usually only board one dog at a time so I can give them my full attention. Additionally, because I live in an apartment and there’s quite a bit of foot traffic in the hallways, with thinner walls, we kindly ask that dogs who stay with us tend to be on the quieter side. That said, we completely understand it can take a few days for your dog to settle in and adjust to a new environment, so occasional loud barks are totally okay as they get comfortable. Our goal is to keep a happy space for your pup and everyone around! If your dog is good with other dogs and okay being left alone with mine for a few hours here and there, we’ll be a great fit. I also totally get how important updates are! I love getting photos of my dog when I’m away, so I’ll be sure to send plenty your way too. 😊 Pet care is a big part of our daily life. My partner and I both work from home, so we’re almost always here to give our dog, and any pup staying with us, lots of attention and care throughout the day. Our dog currently goes out to potty four times a day, with walks in the morning and evening and shorter breaks in between. Any visiting dog would naturally be on a similar schedule, with plenty of opportunities to get outside, stretch their legs, and sniff around. We’re rarely away from home, except for the occasional weekend outing or dinner with friends, and even then we’re never gone for more than a few hours. We don’t like leaving our dog alone for long, and we treat every dog in our care the same way. When I care for pets in my home, safety and comfort are my top priorities. I make sure the space is dog proofed and welcoming, with plenty of cozy spots for rest and play. Since I usually board only one dog at a time, your pup gets focused attention and a calm, relaxed environment. My partner and I both work from home, so there’s always someone nearby to supervise, offer companionship, and quickly respond to any needs. We keep potty breaks regular, usually four times a day, and take lots of opportunities for walks and playtime, including trips to nearby parks

“Barron is fantastic! He was incredibly thorough during the intake process and instantly made me feel comfortable and at ease. My dog loved his time at Barron’s, I got constant updates, and he didn’t even seem ready to leave when we picked him up! I highly recommend Barron.”
