“This was my first time my dog went to doggy day care. Yiqi assured me many times my dog, Popcorn, will be fine. She updated me throughout the day with pictures and videos of him - that gave me a peace of mind. She send me texts about how he was when I left him and pretty soon Popcorn was very comfortable in Yiqi's house. I love how her daughter was so into playing with Popcorn which helps him relax and feel comfortable. I appreciate Yiqi's understanding when I was running late - she was not rushing me. When I finally picked up Popcorn - she gave me the latest update with what she did with Popcorn and how his walk was. All in all - Yiqi was very professional and loving to my dog and myself. The constant updates was a bonus to help me ease into Doggy Day Care. I have an upcoming trip so I will be considering leaving Popcorn with her and her family that week.”

About: Growing up, I have always looked after dogs of close friends and family, and have studied nutrition and health, which led me to work at a pet hotel for about a year with almost every dog breed. My responsibilities included prepping food, cleaning, 1 on 1 play, and group play. I have been in charge of up to 20 dogs at 1 time. I also co-own a dog named Luna. The other owner and I had Luna since she was a puppy and she is now 5 years old. I teach obedience/behavior training to many dogs and I develop trust with dogs that is unique to my experience with various breeds. It takes patience and consistency to be a great leader for dogs and I wear my heart on my sleeve for every dog I'm caring for; communication with your dog is key. I currently work part time and make Dog care apart of my every day routine, if I'm not with my dog I'm working with other dogs. I have a good size open backyard and toys depending on the play style of your dog; crate training is much appreciated if they are familiar. Walks are frequent, especially for high energy dogs

I have cared for many of my friends and family’s dogs both large and small, both boarding and sitting in their home. In addition to feeding, walking, and playing with them, I would also make sure to clean their face and eyes, and wipe their paws after walks. One of the dogs had diabetes, so I know how to administer insulin injections and other meds. In my house, the living room is divided by a dog gate, allowing dogs to have ample room to play or sleep, and balcony access if they want to sit on the balcony and sunbathe.

We adopted Fendi 4 years ago, and I’ve learned to multitask with their age difference and introduce unfamiliar dogs in a safe manner. I’m currently staying home from college and am looking to spend my free time doing something I love. I have two dogs at home that I currently take care of, and would love to be able to provide a safe and comforting environment for other dogs as well.
