About: Hi! I’m an experienced dog sitter and devoted pet parent with years of experience caring for my own dogs and providing trusted pet-sitting. I’ve cared for my Morkie (Maltese-Yorkshire mix) for 11 years, so I’m very familiar with the needs of small dogs. I also have hands-on experience caring for our Golden Retriever for 7 years, giving me experience with both small and large breeds. Our Golden is epileptic but has been seizure-free for over 2 years, giving us firsthand experience with administering medication, monitoring health, and following strict routines - experience that also helps us care for dogs with medical needs or seniors. As a young, active couple, we love taking energetic dogs on walks and adventures, while also providing calm, personalized care for those who need quiet time or extra cuddles. Every dog has a unique personality, and I tailor my care to their needs, routines, and comfort. As a pet parent myself, I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your dog with someone else. That’s why I provide the same attentive, loving care I expect when leaving my own pets, so you can feel completely at ease. My unique advantage lies in my flexible schedule which allows me to dedicate ample time and undivided attention to your cherished pets. Whether it's quality cuddles, playtime adventures, or leisurely strolls, I'm committed to providing top-notch care tailored to your pet's unique needs. In my home, your furry friends will find a spacious and welcoming environment where pets are free to roam around, an outdoor terrace with secured fencing, and local parks (including a dog park) for exercise. I strive to provide a loving and comfortable atmosphere that makes them feel like part of the family.

About: Hello, Thank you for stopping by! My name is Jennifer. I currently have 3 kitties of my own. I do know how nerve-racking it could be leaving your pet with someone. I have left prior sitters visuals, maps, drawings when I have gone away (thank you OCD lol). I am probably a bit much but I need to know that while I'm away, my fur children are in nurturing loving hands not missing me. To say I am protective is an understatement. *I just came back to the site after having a few extensive surgeries so please do not go by the early reviews as I was only on here for a few months until I had to have surgeries - I’m doing great now :)* ***Please before you go on reading…yes, I understand my fees are higher than most. Upon meeting me, you will understand why. I will offer knowledge that may help you with your furbaby. If you are having a hard time with behavioral issues where other sitters won’t know what to do, I most likely will. The plethora of knowledge about dogs/cats/horse/fish/etc that is infinite. I may be able to offer you a couple tips that are possibly life changing. No, I do not have all the answers (if anyone says they do…you should most likely run). However, my knowledge regarding animals is far superior than the average pet sitter. I am 43 years old. I have chosen to take on this work because my heart is very into it. However, now that I am mostly home working on a project it makes it easier for me to sit for your pet. Unfortunately, boarding a doggo overnight within my home who has a lot of behavioral issues would not be a good fit for my cats nor is it fair to do this to them. If it is a mini breed or a larger vet well trained dog, we can discuss (please reach out as it can’t hurt to ask). I wouldn’t mind staying at your home on a case by case basis. If you needed me to give your pets a lot of love, adoration, full blown attention-enforce your commands that you’d like for me to withhold, have a couple of cognitive/ physical training sessions to help you with some behavioral issues/keep your pup sharp or even if it’s administering medications, etc…all your pets needs will be meet efficiently. If this is what you seek, I may be your gal. I welcome cameras in the home so that you are able to see how well your beloved companion is doing with me. I wish more people had cameras so that everyone gets to see how their pet is truly doing while you’re away! My experience with animals comes from years over time of being involved with rescue, surrounded by trainers, healers, tons and tons of self knowledge, audio books, old fashioned books, etc. I was born to hear animals and I consider it a huge gift. It is in my nature that when I am with your pet that my FULL attention is with your pet and your pet only. I myself have hired pet sitters who would sit on their phone in front of me while pet sitting and it was pretty irritating. I know the type of person I would want (and not want) watching my animals because I have been there before with kittens/cat/puppies/dogs. Another pet peeve of mine would be walking into a dog park and the owners aren't paying close attention to their dogs. Unfortunately, we live in an age where cell phones have become top priority and then the pup is put into a bad situation because of the lack of attention. I have seen it time after time and it has left me with a bad taste. This will never happen with me. If I don’t like the vibes - I don’t enter in. There is a proper way to introduce dogs and it’s not nose to nose but rather behind to behind. Dogs are not humans (well some are lol) they are dogs. They read the room very differently than how we would. I promise you wholeheartedly that this is something you will never have to worry about. You pet has my UNDIVIDED love and attention at all times on my watch. It is pertinent for your pet that I uphold and take full responsibility as your pet sitter to give them full attention the entire time they are with me. All of my pups learned their basic commands very early on. It means everything to me when a dog is speaking the same language as its owner. I wish to take your lead and follow everything precisely. When putting a dog on a "heel" command during a walk, my attention has to be two places: 1- On the pup and 2- Observant of the environment. I have fostered 2 dogs and have trained 3 dogs. I have broken the prey drive of 2 beautiful pit bulls and one Tree Walking Coonhound/Terrier dog with my cats. I have also broken anxiety of one of the dogs I was fostering. Truly it was a lot of work, time, patience, repetition and more patience but I got to learn so much about speaking dog. They teach you so many things. I had a very hard time finding someone to board my pup when I had him because I knew a bit more than they did which left me on edge. I sifted through a lot of sitters and it wasn't until I had someone teaching me something that I felt 100% confident in leaving my fur baby with them. I have worked along side with trainers and have read heaps fulls of dog language books/manuals/dvd's etc. I have been called the dog whisperer, cat whisperer/animal whisperer. I have also attended workshops for animal communication to further my education with animals. I look forward to building a career from this. I have obtained one Bachelors degree and a second Associates degree as well as obtaining my NYS license for massage therapy (for humans lol). I am very passionate about animals and have been called a healer. I am Reiki 2 Certified and do Reiki for animals. My entire heart is into this because animals don't have a voice. When I tell someone I can speak cat or dog they may look at me like I am from the funny farm but it’s true. There is a way of listening to an animal by its body language, sounds, breathing, even yawning etc. I have been clipping nails since high school of anxious pet owners pets nails, wiped out floppy ears, burrito wrapped cats for clippings, I’m able to administer medicine without a problem (there are tricks for this), brushing, you name it and I've probably done it. Anyway I can help, I am always willing if it’s for the cause of an animal. Snuggles are my favorite thing along with interactive puzzle type of games that your pups will crave if they would be so kind to join me. No job is too big for me to handle : ) Please let me know if you would like the garbage taken out, plants watered, etc. I am able to light housework if necessary. I will send a TON of pics upon your request because I know how on edge, especially first time sits could be for an owner. NOTE***Please let me know if your dog gets along with cats as this is the only way I can accept them for the safety of my own fur children as well as for the safety of your own pup*** Any information provided for your pet, I will adhere to. I always take 30 min to an hour a day for play/brush when it comes to my own. Please let me know your instructions- dog/cats likes and dislikes, allergies etc. I prefer crated pets because with this, it comes security and a lot less anxiety for your pet when used correctly and for positive reinforcement only. I like to think of it as a floating bedroom for them :) Looking forward to meeting you and your fur-baby/fur-babies soon! *Please note, yes…my fees are more than average because I am at a very advanced level when it comes to caring for you furbaby/furbabies. I would be willing to make and exception if the opportunity (especially be it someone local/within my mileage) presented itself! Thank you for carefully reading my profile. I look forward to a meet and greet with you and your fuzzy friend/s. I am currently working from home so I am pretty flexible where as time is concerned. Occasionally I will run to the store and back but it also depends on the dog so if I had to prepare myself a few days before your dogs arrival, I have no problem with this at all. I am flexible where this is concerned :) Let’s talk…maybe there is something I have missed in my profile but I try to be as descriptive as possible. I appreciate you taking the time to read everything I have written. Quite the novel, I am aware but I feel as a fellow pet owner myself, that you would want to know everything about who your pet is spending quality time with so I try to be as thorough as possible 🙂 Please see everything I have written on top as I believe I have covered all my bases where this is concerned. Thank you again for taking the time reading my full profile! Any questions I’d be happy to answer them, just please shoot me a message :)

About: I have owned dogs my whole life.I have babysit dogs with my dog numerous times. Sadly my dog Gary passed away at 10 years young on Christmas. Since his passing our heart and home has been so empty. I would like to love your dog as much as possible to fill our hearts since the loss of Gary. We will adopt a dog this summer when I am home full time for training purposes. I am a teacher so I am home weekends and most school breaks. In my home are 2 kids, 12 and 16 and my husband. We all love dogs. Your dog will be a part of us with free rein of the house. I am a school teacher. Home after 4, all weekend, all schools holidays and all summer. I will only take dogs when I know I will be home to give tons of love. Your dog will love my clean comfortable home with a fenced in yard. Your dog can sleep anywhere including couches and beds. We are dog people and whatever you r dog wants/needs your dog will get.

Dogs truly leave imprints in your heart they are family. I believe every dog is deserving of love , cuddles and lots of patience. Repetition and Redirecting with positive reinforcement are the keys to a well behaved pup. I will offer only what is best for your furry friend. Be assured that they will be in great loving hands with me and my family. When booked for day care or boarding. I would be following a schedule with your pet. We will have a fun day filled with routines, exercise and play time for cognitive stimulation My biggest goal is to make your pet feel safe and comfortable. They will always be kept separate from other pets I have at all times. Unless you request your pup to socialize. I will offer your pup a schedule that is fitting for them.

About: I’ve been caring and protecting animals my entire life and have over 30 years of hands-on experience. Into adulthood, my dad and I rescued many wild injured animals. Restored their health and released them back into the wild. I’ve decided to work with Rover as a part-time sitter to provide support for pet owners who want a “favorite aunt” experience for their pet. I pay close attention to animal behavior and body language, and I believe in establishing a connection with each pet so they feel safe, calm and ultimately are well-adjusted in my care. Structure and routine are very important to me along with their happiness. After their stay I want them to be so happy to see you and not want to go at the same time (without the crying of course) lol. I’m also an amateur dog trainer. I say amateur because I’m a “forever” student. I’m always learning new ways to communicate with them to minimize their confusion. I do not operate a kennel-style environment. Pets in my home are integrated into daily life where they receive individual attention, consistency, and respect of their own boundaries. I will ONLY crate a pet at the owners requested. I understand how important consistency is for your pet. Therefore I’m committed to carefully implement your instructions. I’m an empty nester with a calm, pet-loving home and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for dogs. I share my space with my friendly toy poodle, who loves meeting new friends and does well with social, well-mannered pups. I keep a flexible schedule, which allows me to be attentive and present throughout the day. Long walks (weather permitting) outdoor time, and companionship are part of our daily routine. Whether your dog enjoys being active or is a couch potato cuddle bug, we are here for it. What I Offer • A flexible schedule with consistent, hands-on care • Long walks and regular outdoor time (weather permitting) • A friendly resident poodle who enjoys canine company • A quiet, loving home where dogs are treated like family I understand how important it is to feel confident about who’s caring for your pet. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment where dogs feel relaxed and owners feel at ease. Pets in my care are treated like family. My own dog is well-pampered, and I bring that same level of attention and care to every pet I who visits. I’m very detail-oriented and take instructions seriously — feeding routines, medications, walk preferences, and house rules are followed exactly as provided. I don’t compromise or cut corners. Dogs are welcome to relax and be comfortable here. They’re allowed on the furniture and can sleep in the bed with me unless an owner prefers otherwise. I make sure each pet feels safe, calm, and at home. Cleanliness, routine, and individual attention matter to me. I take the time to understand each dog’s needs and adjust care accordingly so they’re happy, secure, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: Eden & Danielle We’re a young, energetic married couple experienced with dog care through Rover. We did take a break from sitting through Rover the last few years due to busy schedules and planning our wedding, but we’re so excited to be back and ready to welcome pups into our home again! We’ve been together a total of 5 years, and have found such joy together in spending time with dogs of all breeds and sizes. Whether it’s playtime, long walks, or cozy cuddles, we make sure every pup feels right at home. With no kids and flexible schedules, your pup will get our full attention and care. Before we even met, Eden knew I was a huge dog lover — so for our very first date, he brought along his best friend’s Staffordshire Bull Terrier! Fast forward to today, we’ve had the joy of caring for so many amazing dogs through Rover. It’s been such a rewarding experience meeting wonderful owners and their furry family members along the way. Danielle works fully remote, so she’s flexible and available throughout the day to feed, walk, and play. Eden works for the FDNY but is home 3–4 days a week, so there will always someone here to keep your pup company. We have a large fenced-in yard where your dog can safely run, play, and explore, plus plenty of indoor space for relaxing, eating, or playing catch. We treat every dog as if they were our own — with love, care, and lots of attention.
