“As soon as we turn the corner Bruno knows he’s going to Katie’s house and loves visiting. It's always a fun day filled with other doggie friends and new activities. Katie is simply wonderful and informative throughout the day. Bruno can’t wait to return!”

About: Book with me. To ensure you have the best sitter for your pup, I provide a safe, warming, calm, fun environment when booked for an overnight stay at my place. Constant walks throughout the day. Always keep about two bowls of water around the house and provide daily morning exercise routines (my morning walks/jogs). I do recommend clients/parents to provide food and treats for dogs and keep me aware of any allergies or habits the pup has. I have no problem buying treats or toys as long as it’s okay with the client/parent. This also goes for traveling to clients/parents homes.
“Can’t recommend Courtney and Sherwood enough. They are both very friendly, kind, and took care of my dog like it was their own. My dog has separation anxiety and they made sure to send pictures and updates throughout the day to let me know how he’s doing. You guys are great and I would strongly recommend you to anyone. Yogi told me to tell you thank you!”

“Today was Tucker’s first visit to Jacqueline. He said he had a great time and can’t wait to go back!! Very easy to see Jacqueline really cares about the dogs and takes good care of them.”

“Once again, the booking was smooth. I needed dog care for a Saturday in June. Dhruvit responded quickly and was accommodating to the time change. We truly appreciate the great service and care you give to our Charlie. We look forward to the booking in July. Thanks again. Nicole”

“Sharon was so great with our golden doodle! She took amazing photos of him (he never poses for us! 😂), and he has been worn out since we got him home! She was wonderful with communication and made us feel good about leaving our baby with her. We will be booking with her again! Thank you, Sharon!”

About: As a lifelong pet owner, I see and treat all pets as family members! 🐾💞 I will treat your animals with the love, care and respect they deserve. Currently, I am a proud mom of a chatty black cat named Binx 🐈⬛ and a very funny (and very opinionated) 2 year old husky named Aries who loves to sing 📣🐺 Both are very social, friendly, kind and well behaved. Both get along with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Both are fixed, vaccinated and healthy. I have walk several dogs in my old building complex - most are friends with my dog who is a very happy husky mix. I am the friend / neighbor everyone calls when they need help with their pets! I’m trained in walking dogs on standard leashes, slip leads, harnesses, choke collar (although, not personally preferred), retractable leashes, “no pull” harnesses, muzzles, etc. Previously, I volunteered at an animal shelter for years where I was properly trained on walking different degrees of behaviorally ranked dogs. Each level requires a 10 hour orientation so as to make sure both the dog and I were safe. I still apply many of those useful techniques today. I’ve owned, worked with and volunteered with dog breeds of all sizes and all kinds of personalities for many years and across NYC. I also adore cats, fish and reptiles as well. 🐠🐢🦎 I can help with walking, feeding / administering medication or vitamins, socialization, basic training (leash training, off-leash training, crate training, positive reinforcement, sit, stay, down, paw (and “other paw”), behavioral fixes like pulling on leash, etc), daycare for short or longer stays, drop-ins and whatever else you need! We can also work out trips to the dog park, groomer, vet, etc. Importantly, I am looking into becoming a certified dog trainer in the coming year 🐕🦺 My own dog gets 4-5 walks a day with a substantial exercise session as one of them! Clients have the opportunity to set their own schedules with me. I am available early, late, weekends and holidays! Working with animals is my full time occupation at the moment. However, when I am working in my other profession (legal & tech), I work solely from home. So, I am always local. I live in an apartment in a very secure, dog-friendly building with a fenced yard outside. These are cameras everywhere. If I am boarding a dog, no matter the duration, I will make myself available to FaceTime at any time so that parents are reassured and at ease. I am within minutes of an animal hospital should anything arise. I have all the supplies needed to host and house a dog or a cat including, but not limited to: • Crates, if needed or preferred • Leashes and collars • Beds • Food in surplus • Feeding bowls • Toys • Interactive toys & games • Treats • Calming music • Rental Insurance
“Alice is great with my special needs senior dog Porter. He is happy every time he sees her, and she is very responsible with catering to his special needs, allergies and medical conditions. She is very communicative and lets me know any changes observed in Porter during his stay, plus sends cute pictures regularly. I trust her with my deaf/blind senior completely.”

“Chunwei provided the best sitting experience I’ve had so far. She always checks in and updated me throughout all of her stay. She took the time to walk with my puppy Freya and give her the exercise that she needed, she kept up with my feeding schedule and notified me if Freya’s eating habits had changed due to her teething. Overall I couldn’t ask for anything more from a sitter she was amazing!”

“Armani had a great time during his sit as he came back energetic and super playful! They also provided constant updates which I absolutely loved. They definitely took care of my puppy, so I highly recommend!”

“Lorrie was SUCH a help to watch our pup in short notice and was so understanding to adjust her schedule to help us. Reina always has a blast with Lorrie and we cannot wait to bring her back to Lorrie’s real soon!”

“Bonnie was extremely caring for my Bruno Mars. He was happy and tired when he got home which was great. I an very thankful she was able to take him on short notice. I cant thank her enough”

“Sara takes really good care of Winnie. I know this from the way Winnie runs up the driveway to meet her every morning. He is usually nervous around other dogs but Sara dealt with that like a pro. Now he has dog friends at Sara’s that he enjoys being with.”

“Our dog Wally had a great time with Malak! Malak was very thoughtful and easy to communicate with. We’ll definitely reach out again if we need daycare for Wally.”

“This was our first time ever doing doggy sitting. My dog got along with Bhavani and left happy. She sent me videos and photos of my pup and him settled in their home. Great first experience!”

“Nervana was quick to respond and very accommodating. Apollo was tired when he got home (exactly what I wanted) - she took him on a nice walk! Thank you Nervana. I highly recommend her and I would absolutely drop Apollo off again”

“Shannon is one of my favorite sitters! She not only takes wonderful care of my pup, but she is as sweet as can be. My normally very shy dog warmed up to her right away. It puts me at ease to know that he's really enjoying his time with her and can feel like he's at home. I highly recommend booking with Shannon!”

“Jhajanny was a huge help and took great care of my pup while i had to work in town during the weekend. He loved her so much that he rushed to get into her house and didn’t look back when I dropped him off the second day. We’ll definitely be back if we are in the area.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Charlestown-Richmond Valley
What a great experience. We left our Goldendoodle puppy, Woody, for daycare while we attended a Yankees game. The attention, kindness, and love shown our baby was top-notch. Courtney's family also has a handsome Goldendoodle, so she was well aware of the breed and how to care for them. Woody was super happy when we picked him up. We will definitely recommend her services and will be using her again.

Apollo had a great time with Natalia and Ilian. He had a few furry friends joining his stay and you can tell that he got lots of love and play time. Felt like I dropped him off at school. Came back with a pic and colored picture from his little human friend😍. The pup was tired the next day. P.S. we have a language barrier but I think it's amazing regardless of that barrier, we are still able to communicate the care for Apollo and there's no issue on the love they showed him.
