“excellent service took very well care of my dog while i was away on vacation over the weekend checked on her on schedule and walked her and fed her every visit couldn't have asked for better care thank u”

About: I absolutely adore all kinds of animals I’ve been caring for all types since I was 10 and I’ve had two dogs my whole life which I love very much I can be very flexible with scheduling so if theres specific times you need I will be able to accommodate you but my preferred times would be 11-3 or after 3 I have a bunch of dogs toys , dog beds, water and food bowls , a puppy pool if they can swim and a bunch more!
About: I have an unconditional love of all kinds of animals! I have had a lot of animals throughout my life. I see myself as being reliable, responsible, and caring. I will treat your pets like they are mine! I’m here to help. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! My work schedule allows me to take care of your pets throughout the day. Able to walk, or take care of them in your household as needed. My first priority is making sure your pet is in a safe environment. On walks and/or dog sitting. Rest assured that it is my job to make sure your pet is happy and well taken care of during the time of service
“Jenna did a great job taking care of my two cats and home while I was away! She especially navigated well my one cat who doesn’t take too kindly to strangers in his house.”

About: Hello, Thank you for stopping by! My name is Jennifer. I currently have 3 kitties of my own. I do know how nerve-racking it could be leaving your pet with someone. I have left prior sitters visuals, maps, drawings when I have gone away (thank you OCD lol). I am probably a bit much but I need to know that while I'm away, my fur children are in nurturing loving hands not missing me. To say I am protective is an understatement. *I just came back to the site after having a few extensive surgeries so please do not go by the early reviews as I was only on here for a few months until I had to have surgeries - I’m doing great now :)* ***Please before you go on reading…yes, I understand my fees are higher than most. Upon meeting me, you will understand why. I will offer knowledge that may help you with your furbaby. If you are having a hard time with behavioral issues where other sitters won’t know what to do, I most likely will. The plethora of knowledge about dogs/cats/horse/fish/etc that is infinite. I may be able to offer you a couple tips that are possibly life changing. No, I do not have all the answers (if anyone says they do…you should most likely run). However, my knowledge regarding animals is far superior than the average pet sitter. I am 43 years old. I have chosen to take on this work because my heart is very into it. However, now that I am mostly home working on a project it makes it easier for me to sit for your pet. Unfortunately, boarding a doggo overnight within my home who has a lot of behavioral issues would not be a good fit for my cats nor is it fair to do this to them. If it is a mini breed or a larger vet well trained dog, we can discuss (please reach out as it can’t hurt to ask). I wouldn’t mind staying at your home on a case by case basis. If you needed me to give your pets a lot of love, adoration, full blown attention-enforce your commands that you’d like for me to withhold, have a couple of cognitive/ physical training sessions to help you with some behavioral issues/keep your pup sharp or even if it’s administering medications, etc…all your pets needs will be meet efficiently. If this is what you seek, I may be your gal. I welcome cameras in the home so that you are able to see how well your beloved companion is doing with me. I wish more people had cameras so that everyone gets to see how their pet is truly doing while you’re away! My experience with animals comes from years over time of being involved with rescue, surrounded by trainers, healers, tons and tons of self knowledge, audio books, old fashioned books, etc. I was born to hear animals and I consider it a huge gift. It is in my nature that when I am with your pet that my FULL attention is with your pet and your pet only. I myself have hired pet sitters who would sit on their phone in front of me while pet sitting and it was pretty irritating. I know the type of person I would want (and not want) watching my animals because I have been there before with kittens/cat/puppies/dogs. Another pet peeve of mine would be walking into a dog park and the owners aren't paying close attention to their dogs. Unfortunately, we live in an age where cell phones have become top priority and then the pup is put into a bad situation because of the lack of attention. I have seen it time after time and it has left me with a bad taste. This will never happen with me. If I don’t like the vibes - I don’t enter in. There is a proper way to introduce dogs and it’s not nose to nose but rather behind to behind. Dogs are not humans (well some are lol) they are dogs. They read the room very differently than how we would. I promise you wholeheartedly that this is something you will never have to worry about. You pet has my UNDIVIDED love and attention at all times on my watch. It is pertinent for your pet that I uphold and take full responsibility as your pet sitter to give them full attention the entire time they are with me. All of my pups learned their basic commands very early on. It means everything to me when a dog is speaking the same language as its owner. I wish to take your lead and follow everything precisely. When putting a dog on a "heel" command during a walk, my attention has to be two places: 1- On the pup and 2- Observant of the environment. I have fostered 2 dogs and have trained 3 dogs. I have broken the prey drive of 2 beautiful pit bulls and one Tree Walking Coonhound/Terrier dog with my cats. I have also broken anxiety of one of the dogs I was fostering. Truly it was a lot of work, time, patience, repetition and more patience but I got to learn so much about speaking dog. They teach you so many things. I had a very hard time finding someone to board my pup when I had him because I knew a bit more than they did which left me on edge. I sifted through a lot of sitters and it wasn't until I had someone teaching me something that I felt 100% confident in leaving my fur baby with them. I have worked along side with trainers and have read heaps fulls of dog language books/manuals/dvd's etc. I have been called the dog whisperer, cat whisperer/animal whisperer. I have also attended workshops for animal communication to further my education with animals. I look forward to building a career from this. I have obtained one Bachelors degree and a second Associates degree as well as obtaining my NYS license for massage therapy (for humans lol). I am very passionate about animals and have been called a healer. I am Reiki 2 Certified and do Reiki for animals. My entire heart is into this because animals don't have a voice. When I tell someone I can speak cat or dog they may look at me like I am from the funny farm but it’s true. There is a way of listening to an animal by its body language, sounds, breathing, even yawning etc. I have been clipping nails since high school of anxious pet owners pets nails, wiped out floppy ears, burrito wrapped cats for clippings, I’m able to administer medicine without a problem (there are tricks for this), brushing, you name it and I've probably done it. Anyway I can help, I am always willing if it’s for the cause of an animal. Snuggles are my favorite thing along with interactive puzzle type of games that your pups will crave if they would be so kind to join me. No job is too big for me to handle : ) Please let me know if you would like the garbage taken out, plants watered, etc. I am able to light housework if necessary. I will send a TON of pics upon your request because I know how on edge, especially first time sits could be for an owner. NOTE***Please let me know if your dog gets along with cats as this is the only way I can accept them for the safety of my own fur children as well as for the safety of your own pup*** Any information provided for your pet, I will adhere to. I always take 30 min to an hour a day for play/brush when it comes to my own. Please let me know your instructions- dog/cats likes and dislikes, allergies etc. I prefer crated pets because with this, it comes security and a lot less anxiety for your pet when used correctly and for positive reinforcement only. I like to think of it as a floating bedroom for them :) Looking forward to meeting you and your fur-baby/fur-babies soon! *Please note, yes…my fees are more than average because I am at a very advanced level when it comes to caring for you furbaby/furbabies. I would be willing to make and exception if the opportunity (especially be it someone local/within my mileage) presented itself! Thank you for carefully reading my profile. I look forward to a meet and greet with you and your fuzzy friend/s. I am currently working from home so I am pretty flexible where as time is concerned. Occasionally I will run to the store and back but it also depends on the dog so if I had to prepare myself a few days before your dogs arrival, I have no problem with this at all. I am flexible where this is concerned :) Let’s talk…maybe there is something I have missed in my profile but I try to be as descriptive as possible. I appreciate you taking the time to read everything I have written. Quite the novel, I am aware but I feel as a fellow pet owner myself, that you would want to know everything about who your pet is spending quality time with so I try to be as thorough as possible 🙂 Please see everything I have written on top as I believe I have covered all my bases where this is concerned. Thank you again for taking the time reading my full profile! Any questions I’d be happy to answer them, just please shoot me a message :)
About: since the age i was one i always had dogs i grew up always having dogs. With that i became the person that always watched other peoples dogs. Everyone has always told me i have a secret way with animals and my dream was to always become a vet to help animals. I love animals. Animals have always been special to me. Anytime i go to anyone’s house the first thing i do is go to their pets. Pet care fits into my daily schedule because I have two big dogs and my dogs are my best friends. I love to walk them, play with them, nap with them, and i buy them alot of toys. To me having a dog best friend is one of the most important things. I keep my dogs on a schedule they eat twice a day. My dogs love to run around in my yard and love playing catch. I care for them by feeding them, playing with them, and walking them. I have watched other dogs at my house and they get along with my dogs very well.

About: I have been a dog lover for all my life and realize they require lots of love and attention each day. I will treat your dog as if he/she were my own so you never have to worry while you're away. If your dog is more energetic and prefers running instead of walks, then I will certainly do that. Or, if your dog needs to go at a slower pace, I can do that too. I have experience with puppies all the way up to senior dogs and can administer pills and/or oral supplements. My availability is very flexible and I will try to make time even if it is short notice. I am very responsible so you can definitely count on me to keep your furry friend happy and safe when you're unable to be there with them. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to send a message or give me a call. Thank you!
About: I’ve taken care of pets since I am a little girl. I grew up with a bunny, then with a dog which we still have since 2012. I’ve been feeding her morning and night, taking her on walks, playing with her, cuddling, etc. Ive since moved out and now have a dog and 2 cats of my own. I can’t picture a life without some furry friends! I’m currently working a 9-5 and able to take care of some pets and host boardings overnight and after my shifts. Although I am looking to resign and eventually just work some side hustles so I can have more time at home with my daughter and spend more time with the pets!! I have a fenced yard as well as a bunch of pet toys, along with a friendly dog and two friendly cats for your furry friends to play with!
“Excellent experience with Lin. She went above and beyond to make sure our cats had everything they needed. Communicating with every visit with pictures and details, letting us know the exact situation, was very helpful to keep us reassured everything was fine.”

“My husband and I used Alexis for the second time. This time for 4 full days, with 3 drop ins each day. She took wonderful care of our 2 cats and one dog. She kept the litter box very clean and made sure our pets got their medicine. Alexis has such a caring personality and kindness to her that our pets love. We are very thankful for her help.”

About: I have experience with taking care of my own fur baby for 7 years. Besides her I have also taken in family pets whilst they went to vacation, as well as drop ins and checking their pets for the duration of two weeks. I was capable of teaching the pets under my care tricks and was always on top of everything being responsible, and making sure the fur babies got the attention they needed. I am also comfortable looking after feline (cat) pets as I have taken care of them with my boyfriends family during drop ins, and also freshwater aquarium pets as I have hosted them in my home for my cousins taking care of up to 6 in a tank. I am in college so I only attend school three days out of the week leaving all day of monday and friday, adding on I have a late class wednesday so I am available early on Wednesdays! I am also free on the weekends. So, I am able to check in with pets during my free time, and make sure to care for the fur babies. I can do afternoons for monday, friday, and the weekend and day time for wednesday! In my home I have one pet, my girl dog pearl who receives all the love she can get and is treated as a family member :) In my home I have a fenced yard, I have treats to provide, toys, and more. I also have a play penn in which pets can have space and play freely if wished to be crated. I will make sure to always give attention to the pets just as if they were my own babies.

About: Hi, my name is Melissa & i am a huge animal lover ! I’ve been raised with pets since about the age of 2 or 3 and ever since I’ve had a wide variety of pets including cats, dogs, birds, lizards and many other exotics. I have a big soft spot for injured animals and I’m always taking in hurt animals and rehabilitating them. So, whether you are too busy with your own schedule or need a little get away, don’t hesitate to let me meet your fuzzy friends and make your life a bit easier ! i have somewhat of a flexible schedule so i’m around pretty often to provide any services for your pets! i already have a dog of my own so im pretty used to following a schedule to accommodate his needs, and i’ll absolutely do the same for your fluffy family members! just give me directions and i can assure you they will be followed with great accuracy! and if there’s any special things you’d like me to do just add that in!
“Tara continues to be an amazing sitter! She provides thorough updates with great pictures and communicated with ease if she encounters anything she thinks I should know. Cannot recommend enough!”

“We truly hit the pet-sitter jackpot. I hesitate to leave this review for fear that Tammy will become so beloved across Rover she will no longer have time for us! From the moment we met Tammy, it was clear our cats were possibly in better hands than our own (honestly, they seemed a little disappointed when we came back). Updates were consistent, thoughtful, and often included photos that looked like they belonged in a pet lifestyle magazine—somehow capturing both chaos and cuteness in equal measure. Our home was cared for, our girls were happy, and we’re fairly certain they learned better manners while we were gone which raises some questions about our own management style. What really stood out was the genuine care and attention—this wasn’t just “checking in,” it was full-on VIP treatment. Visits weren’t rushed, playtime wasn’t optional, and every detail was handled like it mattered (because it does). If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, communicative, and clearly loved by animals, stop looking—you’ve found them. Just be warned: your pets may start expecting this level of service from you afterward. I still haven't mastered Tammy's double-Churu-dispensing skills, and the judgment from our girls is palpable.”

The median cost per visit for pet sitting in Charlestown-Richmond Valley is $25

Pinky was absolutely amazing watching my dog Chai during my wedding weekend. She went above and beyond to make sure Chai was happy, comfortable, and well cared for while we were busy enjoying our day. Pinky kept me updated with photos and messages. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter during such an important weekend. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, loving, and responsible.

Kexin was great! Very responsive and caring to my cat Theo while we were away on an extended trip. She sent the cutest photos of my pet during her visit and I could tell he was very comfortable with her. Kexin was also very punctual and communicative throughout the whole process. I would definitely use her services again!
