About: Hi! I’m Zara, and caring for animals has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the past 6 years, I’ve gained experience through dog walking, house sitting, and fostering a wide range of animals, from energetic puppies to senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. A lot of my experience is personal, which I think makes it even more meaningful. I grew up with a family dog and learned early on what it means to be responsible for and truly bond with an animal. I also rescued and raised a stray kitten from just 4 weeks old, which was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had. I’m generally available most days, with limited availability on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9–1. Otherwise, I’m open and can accommodate a variety of schedules. I always tailor my care based on each pet’s routine and the owner’s preferences. I know every pet is different, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, medications, or just how their pet likes to relax. I focus on creating a comfortable, safe, and stress-free environment while giving them plenty of attention, playtime, and care.

She let us know when our cat wasn't feeling well so we could be prepared to take care of her when we got home. She even cleaned up our cat's messes for us so we didn't have to! I have four of my own and love them so much I have a full time job but I have Mondays off and am available all day and I am available on Tuesdays Saturdays and Sundays after 3:00 I have four dogs of my own … I walk them everyday and take care of other dogs that I feed or let out or walk if needed

“We truly hit the pet-sitter jackpot. I hesitate to leave this review for fear that Tammy will become so beloved across Rover she will no longer have time for us! From the moment we met Tammy, it was clear our cats were possibly in better hands than our own (honestly, they seemed a little disappointed when we came back). Updates were consistent, thoughtful, and often included photos that looked like they belonged in a pet lifestyle magazine—somehow capturing both chaos and cuteness in equal measure. Our home was cared for, our girls were happy, and we’re fairly certain they learned better manners while we were gone which raises some questions about our own management style. What really stood out was the genuine care and attention—this wasn’t just “checking in,” it was full-on VIP treatment. Visits weren’t rushed, playtime wasn’t optional, and every detail was handled like it mattered (because it does). If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, communicative, and clearly loved by animals, stop looking—you’ve found them. Just be warned: your pets may start expecting this level of service from you afterward. I still haven't mastered Tammy's double-Churu-dispensing skills, and the judgment from our girls is palpable.”
