“Jennifer was amazing. Highly recommend hiring her to watch your pet. Communication was flawless from start to finish, and she was always incredibly quick to respond to my text updates. I loved receiving the photos she sent throughout the weekend, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. She truly went above and beyond to make my dog feel at home. She spent time playing fetch—my dog's absolute favorite game—and was highly observant and adaptable when Daisy interacted with her own two dogs, ensuring all the pups felt safe and comfortable. To top it all off, she even sent my dog home with a toy she had fallen in love with during her stay. I will absolutely be booking her again!”

“Sarah and her family took amazing care of Kilo from 9/12 to 9/14. They were incredibly accommodating and flexible with our drop-off and pick-up times, which made the whole process stress-free. It is clear they are experienced dog handlers. They gave us total confidence by effectively managing dog dynamics from the very start and knew exactly when to separate the pups to keep everyone safe and happy. Their fenced yard was perfect for secure outdoor playtime. On top of that, Sarah and her family were incredibly hospitable and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended!”

“I would highly recommend Daran! He took our 80 pound German Shepherd Delta for 3 days and we couldn’t be more happier. He provided daily updates with photos, videos, walks and playtime. He cared for Delta as if she was his own. Thank-you Daran for a great experience!”

“I had the best experience with Stephanie watching my Samoyed . She has a very loving and caring disposition and kept me updated the entire time with pictures. I knew my dog was in the best care and I’m so grateful to have connected with her over this app. I highly recommend her .”

“Casey, Phil and their dog Chloe were absolutely fantastic with Penny, our 6 month old golden retriever puppy, for a week long stay. They sent us daily pictures and updates about how Penny was doing which really took the stress out of leaving her for the first time. They were patient at our meet and greet ahead of her stay and made sure to answer any and all of our questions. Would highly recommend them and we will absolutely be using them again in the future!”

“Nadya took excellent care of our 10 year-old Golden Retriever while we went to the Cape for a few days. She was great at communicating how our Sophie was doing and sent pictures of her looking relaxed. We would recommend Nadya to anyone who needs to bring their pet for an overnight stay.”

“Really nice people, they were both amazing with my dog, you could just feel their energy upon meeting them that they were both animal people. I would definitely highly recommend them and bring my dog back to them for another overnight stay. Thank you for taking great care of my dog.”
“Mike and Kelly are the best. Bella loves staying there and playing with their dogs. Mike is super communicative and always sends updates. We highly recommend them. Your dog will have a blast!”

“Michele was the perfect sitter to watch our rescue dog while we were in town for an event. She took the time to introduce our dog to the space before meeting the other dogs, and was overall so understanding. Our normally shy dog cuddled right up and really enjoyed her time with Michele!”

“Tianyue was phenomenal with our two dogs! We left them with her for an extended (two weeks), during which we received daily communication, complete with adorable pictures and videos. Both pups seemed completely at home after just a few hours, and I appreciated how Tianyue tailored her care and approach to each one of them. 1000/10, would absolutely recommend!”

“Alyson was amazing! She sent lots of pictures and updates while watching my cat and it was clear he was having a great time. She asked questions and was super responsive - would definitely recommend booking with her and I will book again!”

“Bailey stayed with Lace for a week and came back exhausted and happy. Lace was incredibly communicative throughout the stay - we will definitely work with her again for future sitting needs!”
“Not only did we have the benefit of Jing being in literal walking distance from our home, they did a phenomenal job of sending so many daily updates on Akina and Keiko that we were able to enjoy our time away for the wedding knowing they were in great hands. 100% will be going with Jing any time we need a sitter!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Middleborough Center
My Dublin has stayed with Linda twice and she has been great. Linda is patient with my old girl and takes great care of her. She tried to make Dublin as comfortable as possible and it is a relief I was able to find someone I can trust to take care of my tough old girl.

Linda was amazing! The animals didn't want to leave her house they loved her so much! My pitbull can be a bit much sometimes but that didn't scare Linda, hahaha. She even bought extra toys and treats for them and sent lots of pictures! She took great care of my babies and I would DEFINITELY use her again if I was in the area :)

Jennifer and Mark were extremely helpful and accommodating. They treated us with the utmost respect and kindness, always with my dog's care being the main focus. If you need to have someone watch your dog, you will be leaving them in very capable hands. It's evident that the care of their own dogs also extended to your dog. Highly, highly recommended!!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Middleborough Center home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Middleborough Center.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Middleborough Center sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
