“Alysia’s service is top notch! Her family was so caring and treated my pup like family. Our pup came home content and he had so much fun. Great communication and updates. Thank you!!!”

“Jennifer and Mark were extremely helpful and accommodating. They treated us with the utmost respect and kindness, always with my dog's care being the main focus. If you need to have someone watch your dog, you will be leaving them in very capable hands. It's evident that the care of their own dogs also extended to your dog. Highly, highly recommended!!”
“This was my first time leaving my puppy for such an extended period of time, and it was nerve wrecking trying to figure out how to keep Mushu safe, happy, and healthy while I was away. Thankfully, I came across Casey and Phil's profile. Met them and their dog Chloe for a meet and greet far in advance, heard about their extensive experience with dogs, and got to see Mushu interact with them in person. Spent way too long talking to them about anything and everything, and they were very patient with me and my concerns. Casey was also super helpful with reassurances, frequent updates, pictures, and videos. Overall, great experience. Heard Mushu was anxious for a bit because it was such a new experience, but he seemed content to play and receive all the love and attention while he was there. Thank you for caring for my baby!”

“I can’t recommend Ciara highly enough! From the moment we left to the moment we returned, I never once worried about our fur baby. Her regular messages and videos made it clear he was not only well cared for, but having an absolute blast. It was such a relief to know he was in such loving, capable hands while we were on vacation. Ciara truly went above and beyond!”

“Jenna and Michael were wonderful. We are also sitters on Rover and probably have higher than average standards for our babygirl Sadie (~60 lb rescue). We first did a meet and greet and from the moment we meant them we knew they were good people. We had already meet four other sitters at this point and were starting to feel hopeless. Jenna and Michael were warm, and lovely from the start. Their home is spacious, their yard is BIG, and their own pup, Chase is adorable! Sadie got lots of exercise playing with Chase and going on walks. I was worried that Sadie would taunt their chickens the entire time (which she probably did) but they handled it with evident experience around this challenge. We would happily book with them again. Even though we had to drive 45 minutes to them, it was 100% worth it. Thank you, Jenna, Michael, and Chase.”

“If I could give more stars, I would! Shatane and her family are truly wonderful people. They treated Ziggy and me with respect and showed Ziggy love and attention every day during his 3-day stay this week. I would definitely recommend Shatane—excellent communication, with plenty of updates, pictures, and videos.”

“This was our first stay with Whitney and Dave and their fur babies. While it began a bit rocky with my dog fitting in to their family and routine all worked out after a day or two. My dog was safe and well cared for during his stay.”

“Amy and Jonathan took wonderful care of my dogs. Sent me updates and pictures daily. I would 100% recommend them. Definitely book with them again. A million thanks 😊 to Amy!”

“Nadya welcomed our 2 Aussies into their home like they were family. Our pups had the best time and I’d highly recommend booking Nadya for your fur baby sitting needs!”

About: I volunteered for all of my university married friends who had a dog. As a volunteer, I helped feed, water, and exercise both cats and dogs. I was also responsible for keeping their living environments sanitary. but most of all play with them to drain their energy for the whole day which gives them and me a sense of satisfaction. I grew up loving animals all my life. I am also currently a cat mom and I have more personal experience working with cats and dogs of various breeds. I can guarantee full satisfaction to the clients as their dogs/cats will leave making another trustworthy best friend. My personality can be described as very cheerful, levelheaded and earnest. I look forward to hearing from you!
“Tara was an amazing sitter for our dog Luna! She was easy to schedule with and sent photo/status updates throughout the stay. We would definitely have her sit Luna for us again and would recommend her to others!”

“Jeremy and Rui were great and took Tux at the last minute when I had some friends cancel on me when I was trying to get ready for a work trip. I got plenty of pics and updates and she was pooped from all the playing when we got home. Definitely booking with them again soon. Tux says ? 2 paws up!”

About: Had a 5 month old pup at aged 9 (also had a dominant cat) taught her basics and more over time until she needed medication due to her old age. Looked after friends senior dog which needed meds with food and their other dog that had special dietary needs including medication 3 times a day. House and dog&cat sat for friends that would go away to France for a long weekends I have plenty of time to give care and attention. I am not working at the moment and in between job maybe this is my calling we have a lot of space in the home and in the yard. We do not have any of our own pets yet, but we are talking a lot about them. We have a large 4ft fenced in grass yard and a large basement to allow for off leash freedom to play regardless of weather. Over the back fence we have active cranberry bogs with loads of open space and smells perfect for long walks. I am a fast walker and happy to cover 3-5 miles on a walk. Any fur-babies that need to stay overnight will be looked after like they are my own. I’ll send lots of pictures and make sure your pet is comfortable with as much attention as it needs.
“Awesome experience!! Was happy to meet for the meet and greet where all my questions were answered for the upcoming stay. Then throughout the entirety of the stay, it was all very professional! Would absolutely book again!”

“Endy was our first time using Rover with our 4 year old labradoodle so I was a little nervous but she was amazing! Our dog was instantly comfortable with Endy and her family and had a blast while there. Endy sends lots of pics which was so nice to see. Highly recommend!”

“Rebecca was so amazing with our senior dog! At 15 years old Bella needs a little extra attention and care and I felt so comfortable and assured that she was in good hands with Rebecca’s experience with older dogs. She was so gracious, keeping us informed with daily updates, pictures and videos, I would highly recommend her to take extra special care of your family dog!”

Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
