“Jenna and Michael were wonderful. We are also sitters on Rover and probably have higher than average standards for our babygirl Sadie (~60 lb rescue). We first did a meet and greet and from the moment we meant them we knew they were good people. We had already meet four other sitters at this point and were starting to feel hopeless. Jenna and Michael were warm, and lovely from the start. Their home is spacious, their yard is BIG, and their own pup, Chase is adorable! Sadie got lots of exercise playing with Chase and going on walks. I was worried that Sadie would taunt their chickens the entire time (which she probably did) but they handled it with evident experience around this challenge. We would happily book with them again. Even though we had to drive 45 minutes to them, it was 100% worth it. Thank you, Jenna, Michael, and Chase.”

About: Hi! I am Lakshmi and I personally have 7yrs of experience with dogs of all kinds. Me and my husband both love dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. We would love to take care of your pooch while you are away. We promise to provide brisk walks, fun playtime, and of course belly rubs and cuddling for your beloved dog. So that you can have a guilt free vacation of your own :) Our schedule is flexible and your dog will never be home alone for long. The couch and bed are never off-limits. We separate the dogs during feeding times and ** safety is out top priority**. So we make it a point to do a meet and greet for all the first time clients. We have a six-year-old Labrador retriever boy named "Bruno" whom we adore! He is neutered and is very friendly. We fully understand all the hard work, effort, and commitment which goes into raising our fur babies. I totally understand how much difficult it can be to be away from your pet. We will do our best to make your vacation stress free by giving regular updates on your pooch is doing. We both have our own full time jobs and I work from home. So, rest assured that your dog is never unattended for more than 2 hours except when we are at the gym or have some errands to run. We have a friendly dog of our own at home to keep your dog company 24/7. There is no fenced yard but we live in a beautiful community and we do long walks and park visits(when the weather permits).

About: I have been taking care of animals big and small for as long as I can remember! When I was in my early teens I started pet sitting, and once I was 18 I began working on local horse farms; mucking stalls, and learning as much as I could along the way. I take pride in knowing I am knowledgeable and dependable; I’ve fulfilled duties as grand as farm/kennel sitting- (meticulous care; maintaining medicine and feed schedules, cleaning services, turn in and out, organization of multiple and large quantity of animals at a time) …. About: We first adopted a 12 year old dog from the shelter and at the age of 17, we had to put him down. It broke our hearts and decided to adopt others in his (Juno) memory. My husband and I have adopted 5 dogs since then and they are a great pack. We have a large yard and doggy door so they can come and go as they please. They go for walks and they're very well mannered, socialized dogs. I graduated from Animal Behavior College in May 2017 and train dogs as well and I'd be able to help with training if needed. We've been fostering dogs for over 5 years and love knowing we're helping them become socialized and able to find them forever homes.

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

Then I raised Bruce, a rescued black lab mix from August 2013 until 2025 with some breaks for the US Army. And I taught him very well; he passed in June 2025 but he will always be my companion at my side. For some time I carried him, 120 lbs, up and down flights of stairs. Sometimes from here to there, carefully, comfortably, gingerly. I’ve taken care of pets for family members and friends. And did so professionally in the past prior to Rover, after friends got me into it. I’m great with animals. After spending even just a short time with them we can often establish a connection or rapport, especially when training a younger pet (or caring for an older dog). I enjoy taking dogs for long walks, I could run with your dog, play with them, but mostly we’ll be doing what they want - within reason. I will basically be spending the entire time with your pets. We’ll wake up between five to eight in the morning, and we’ll go bed between eight and eleven at night. I’ll be up with them as they need and we’ll be in and out much more than is required. About: Growing up I’ve always had a dog in the house. I’ve always looked up ways to train my dogs and teach them tricks. I’d watch dog whisper shows to learn more about dogs and how to connect with them. I’m very passionate about giving my best care and love to all beings. I have a dog of my own right now that I treat like a child. She’s practically a puppy and I taught her so much within just a year of having her. I had my previous dog for 7 years and taught her so many things. I look forward to treating other dogs the same way. I have great customer service skills as well as being very optimistic and aware of my surroundings. I give my best work and never leave a project unfinished. I’m in between jobs at the moments so I’m open as of right now. I like mid mornings and afternoons. I have a dog of my own so knowing ahead of time helps prepare my day for her. I crate trained my old and new dog. I’m still teaching my dog who has an eating disorder how to free range the house without supervision. She’s still learning so I have to keep her on a leash so she doesn’t get into things she can’t eat. I keep toxic things out of reach.

“Jenna and Michael were wonderful. We are also sitters on Rover and probably have higher than average standards for our babygirl Sadie (~60 lb rescue). We first did a meet and greet and from the moment we meant them we knew they were good people. We had already meet four other sitters at this point and were starting to feel hopeless. Jenna and Michael were warm, and lovely from the start. Their home is spacious, their yard is BIG, and their own pup, Chase is adorable! Sadie got lots of exercise playing with Chase and going on walks. I was worried that Sadie would taunt their chickens the entire time (which she probably did) but they handled it with evident experience around this challenge. We would happily book with them again.
