“Jenna and Michael were wonderful. We are also sitters on Rover and probably have higher than average standards for our babygirl Sadie (~60 lb rescue). We first did a meet and greet and from the moment we meant them we knew they were good people. We had already meet four other sitters at this point and were starting to feel hopeless. Jenna and Michael were warm, and lovely from the start. Their home is spacious, their yard is BIG, and their own pup, Chase is adorable! Sadie got lots of exercise playing with Chase and going on walks. I was worried that Sadie would taunt their chickens the entire time (which she probably did) but they handled it with evident experience around this challenge. We would happily book with them again. Even though we had to drive 45 minutes to them, it was 100% worth it. Thank you, Jenna, Michael, and Chase.”

About: I’ve had 8 fur babies from my childhood til now so you know the couch is always covered in fur. I’ve loved my mastiffs and labs, tabby cats, horses, and many small animals. I’m familiar with various dog and cat breeds and the amount of loving you should give them, even if it’s temporary. I’d love to care for your pet! A face full of fur is an excusable reason to replace therapy.. right?? I’m currently attending a couple online college classes for the summer, so my weekly availability is mornings & afternoons. No Thursdays. For weekend availability, please reach out a few days before. I hold a calm and happy manner with zero room for bitterness. About: I have taken care of and have had my own pets for over 30 years. I have a fenced in backyard, along with trails in a wooded area on my property that make it a great adventure for all pets. I work part-time taking care of animals and I'm always available to give your animals the attention they deserve. I am available most days and for overnight care. I would like to especially focus on families with friendly, small breeds that are looking for a safe place to shelter their pet. So, rest assured that your dog is never unattended for more than 2 hours except when we are at the gym or have some errands to run. We have a friendly dog of our own at home to keep your dog company 24/7. There is no fenced yard but we live in a beautiful community and we do long walks and park visits(when the weather permits).

About: I volunteer at my local animal shelter and I am great with both dogs and cats. I grew up with my cat, Hepsiba, born before me who died when I was nearly 20 years of age. We were best friends before I knew what that was. Then at the age of 12 or so, my parents adopted 2 English cocker spaniels, brother and sister. Robbie and Flora. So I was taking care of three pets. Then I raised Bruce, a rescued black lab mix from August 2013 until 2025 with some breaks for the US Army. And I taught him very well; he passed in June 2025 but he will always be my companion at my side. For some time I carried him, 120 lbs, up and down flights of stairs. Sometimes from here to there, carefully, comfortably, gingerly. I’ve taken care of pets for family members and friends. And did so professionally in the past prior to Rover, after friends got me into it. I’m great with animals. After spending even just a short time with them we can often establish a connection or rapport, especially when training a younger pet (or caring for an older dog). I enjoy taking dogs for long walks, I could run with your dog, play with them, but mostly we’ll be doing what they want - within reason. I will basically be spending the entire time with your pets. We’ll wake up between five to eight in the morning, and we’ll go bed between eight and eleven at night. I’ll be up with them as they need and we’ll be in and out much more than is required. I am delicate and meticulous and believe in leaving no trace that I was there. I want my client after their time away from home and their animals to not be met with the mess that I could be leaving behind. I am committed to performing an act of cleaning based on the tools available.

About: I’ve just recently moved back home from Scotland after being there for about 7 years. While there I did use rover as a part time job while finishing my Veterinary Medicine degree. I also have a young, very active Yorkie that I personally trained to do tricks like speak, play dead, and give paw, along with other basic obedience skills. This has given me experience with consistency, positive reinforcement, and keeping energetic dogs mentally stimulated. I’m comfortable balancing both calm, gentle care for senior pets and structured, engaging attention for younger, active dogs. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I already work part time at a doggy day care, so I’m around animals regularly and used to handling different personalities and energy levels. I’m available all day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Tuesdays, which gives me plenty of time to focus on pet sitting, walks, and keeping pets on their normal routines.
