This was only Sadie‘s second time boarding in someone else’s home without me…I learned from my first experience that Sadie does not do great with other pets in the house… and, even though Kari’s was pet free, I was still trepidatious about trying another boarding situation in a strange (to my pup) home. My fears were immediately alleviated upon meeting and seeing Kari interact with Sadie and how she let Sadie explore around her wonderful home. Physical relief was all I felt when I left Sadie with her. Kari kept me informed each day with reports and pictures of what she and Sadie were doing, and I was never worried that Sadie was anxious or anything but completely comfortable. Seriously will make sure that Kari is available anytime I plan anything where I need to leave Sadie with someone for any reason! I think my girl had a great time and definitely was very well cared for. Cannot thank Kari and her family enough! ❤️❤️❤️”

About: I have taken care of and have had my own pets for over 30 years. I have a fenced in backyard, along with trails in a wooded area on my property that make it a great adventure for all pets. I work part-time taking care of animals and I'm always available to give your animals the attention they deserve. I am available most days and for overnight care. About: Hi! My name is Abby and I am 35 years old. I work from home Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm. I have been watching pets since I was a kid! My uncle next door had a dog who had 3 litters of golden retriever mixes. I helped him raise and take care of them. In college, I was a nanny for a family with a lab and black cat. When they were out of town I took care of their pets. I nannied for a second family a few years later and babysat their golden retriever, bunny, and 2 persian cats when they would go on vacation as well. At times I would also babysit my sister’s chihuahua mix overnight. I had two cats for about 10 years.I also own two sugar gliders. I have a miniature pincher mix, she is the friendliest dog and gets along with any dog or person. Couch potato all day kind of dog but loves to go play with other dogs at the dog park. Pets and children are my specialty. I love all animals even if I am allergic to most of them :). I work from home mon-fri 7am-3pm. My dog gets me out of the house and if she has a friend to walk with or visit, it would be a fun playdate for her as well! I have given meds to both my cats since they are seniors. My sister’s dog had pills she had to take as well, which i would do when i babysat her. I am pretty easy going with what i need to do for who ever asks me to watch their pets because I care about what they need. All my neighbors have animals, mostly dogs, and they all have taken to me. People that have animals need someone to care for their pets and love their pets just as much as the owners due and it's very important to find those special type of people and I think that I am one of those persons. About: I volunteer at my local animal shelter and I am great with both dogs and cats. I grew up with my cat, Hepsiba, born before me who died when I was nearly 20 years of age. We were best friends before I knew what that was. Then at the age of 12 or so, my parents adopted 2 English cocker spaniels, brother and sister. Robbie and Flora. So I was taking care of three pets. Then I raised Bruce, a rescued black lab mix from August 2013 until 2025 with some breaks for the US Army. And I taught him very well; he passed in June 2025 but he will always be my companion at my side. For some time I carried him, 120 lbs, up and down flights of stairs. Sometimes from here to there, carefully, comfortably, gingerly. I’ve taken care of pets for family members and friends. And did so professionally in the past prior to Rover, after friends got me into it. I’m great with animals. After spending even just a short time with them we can often establish a connection or rapport, especially when training a younger pet (or caring for an older dog). I enjoy taking dogs for long walks, I could run with your dog, play with them, but mostly we’ll be doing what they want - within reason. I will basically be spending the entire time with your pets. We’ll wake up between five to eight in the morning, and we’ll go bed between eight and eleven at night. I’ll be up with them as they need and we’ll be in and out much more than is required. I am delicate and meticulous and believe in leaving no trace that I was there. I want my client after their time away from home and their animals to not be met with the mess that I could be leaving behind. About: Had a 5 month old pup at aged 9 (also had a dominant cat) taught her basics and more over time until she needed medication due to her old age. Looked after friends senior dog which needed meds with food and their other dog that had special dietary needs including medication 3 times a day. House and dog&cat sat for friends that would go away to France for a long weekends I have plenty of time to give care and attention. I am not working at the moment and in between job maybe this is my calling we have a lot of space in the home and in the yard. We do not have any of our own pets yet, but we are talking a lot about them. We have a large 4ft fenced in grass yard and a large basement to allow for off leash freedom to play regardless of weather. Over the back fence we have active cranberry bogs with loads of open space and smells perfect for long walks. I am a fast walker and happy to cover 3-5 miles on a walk. I truly love what I do, and it brings me so much joy to give pets the same care and comfort I’d want for my own. Pet care naturally fits right into my daily and weekly routine! I’m fully open on weekends, which makes it easy to dedicate my time to caring for pets. During the week, I’m a full-time college student, so I do have specific times I need to be in class—but before and after, I have long breaks that give me plenty of flexibility for check-ins, walks, and playtime. I love using those free hours to spend time with pets, making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and cared for while their families are busy! Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or in a client’s home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In a client’s home, I keep pets in their familiar routines—feeding, walking, and playtime just the way they’re used to—so they stay happy and relaxed while you’re away or busy. At this time, I don’t plan on taking in any animals since I’m in college, so all of my care will be in the comfort of your pet’s own home.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs all ages and sizes ranging from teacup Chihuahuas to Rhodesian Ridgebacks. I can adjust your pets adventure to their specific needs. My youngest just started kindergarten this year. So I have free time for the first time in many years. I’m available weekdays anytime after 830 until 230. I take my dog for 30 minute walks in my neighborhood. He uses a harness but I will use whatever you prefer to keep you pup safe while on an adventure with me.
About: I have been walking dogs at local shelters on a volunteer basis for several years. I have experience walking a variety of small and large breed dogs. My walks are 40 minutes long. I charge $25 per walk. My prices stay the same no matter what the breed or age. I would like to set up a meet and greet prior to any walks. Building a strong relationship is important. I am a retired veteran. I have plenty of time in retirement to walk dogs. I am available to walk dogs on Tues, Weds, Thurs, Sat and Sun. I do not offer boarding. I am out to serve the dog and the owners alike. I want both to be happy with my services. I am capable of feeding. I can walk multiple times in a day. I can administer meds as needed.

“Total rock star sitter - could not recommend Kari any more highly! This was only Sadie‘s second time boarding in someone else’s home without me…I learned from my first experience that Sadie does not do great with other pets in the house… and, even though Kari’s was pet free, I was still trepidatious about trying another boarding situation in a strange (to my pup) home. My fears were immediately alleviated upon meeting and seeing Kari interact with Sadie and how she let Sadie explore around her wonderful home. Physical relief was all I felt when I left Sadie with her. Kari kept me informed each day with reports and pictures of what she and Sadie were doing, and I was never worried that Sadie was anxious or anything but completely comfortable. Seriously will make sure that Kari is available anytime I plan anything where I need to leave Sadie with someone for any reason!
