“Kerry was very communicative and reliable as usual. I don’t have to worry about my kitties when I’m away because I know Kerry gives them all the love and care they need! I will be happy to hire her again in the future!”

“Maggie went above and beyond while caring for our dog Leo. Our fridge/freezer started leaking and she went out of her way to ensure the floor wasn’t damaged, keeping me informed at every checkin. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“I could tell on Wyatt's meet and greet that Andrea was a compassionate animal care giver. Wyatt took to her immediate and by the end of the visit they were fast friends. I was able to go away with my mind at ease that Wyatt will be well cared for. Andrea sent updates and pictures with every visit letting me know he was okay. I now look forward to getting away more because I know my skittish rescue dog is in good hands. I can't recommend her enough. Thank you Andrea.”

Hazel, Lexi, and Timber love playing with all dogs big or small! If you need help with your fur baby, we would love to help! We love going for walks and making new friends! No matter if your fur baby is a dog or cat, I will treat them as if they were my own and make sure that they each get all the love and attention they need! About: I’ve been caring for animals for about 2 years, but they’ve always been a huge part of my life. As a proud pet parent myself, I know just how much love and attention our furry friends need to feel safe and happy. Whether it's going for fun walks, playtime in the yard, or just quiet cuddle time, I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family. I truly love what I do, and it brings me so much joy to give pets the same care and comfort I’d want for my own. Pet care naturally fits right into my daily and weekly routine! I’m fully open on weekends, which makes it easy to dedicate my time to caring for pets. During the week, I’m a full-time college student, so I do have specific times I need to be in class—but before and after, I have long breaks that give me plenty of flexibility for check-ins, walks, and playtime. I love using those free hours to spend time with pets, making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and cared for while their families are busy! Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or in a client’s home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In a client’s home, I keep pets in their familiar routines—feeding, walking, and playtime just the way they’re used to—so they stay happy and relaxed while you’re away or busy. At this time, I don’t plan on taking in any animals since I’m in college, so all of my care will be in the comfort of your pet’s own home.

“Linda watched our cat, Maka, while we were out of town this past weekend. She was a sweetheart and went over and beyond to make sure Maka was taken care of, sending plenty of pics and videos each time she visited. Very appreciated!”

About: I have done in home visits and dog walking for pets of all types. 3 years of experience. Tons of availability. True animal lover at heart. Many references available. I am currently not working and I'm looking for a few regular gigs to keep me busy. I love to walk and hike. I love people and animals in general. I currently am a homemaker with a fenced in yard, three cats at home, and a dog nephew who gets dropped off for at my discretion for either a long day of daycare or a sleepover.
“Our pups love Montana! She took great care of our two girls and we loved the pics. We came home to two very happy and well-exercised pups. Thank you for accepting such a short notice booking!”

“I love Jen. She was very attentive. I could communicate with her anytime I wanted. I did do it during her visits. Sent me pictures of my kitties. I have one that’s a scaredy-cat. She did try very hard with him my other cat ran to her when she came in. I felt comfortable with her in my house!!! She was great.”

About: I began professionally working with animals roughly 9 years ago. At 13 I started at my local board and groom kennel where I bathed and cared for all our guests. I then started working for a private dog trainer until I was 15. I now work at petco and own my own pup. Working with animals of all kinds has been an absolute pleasure and I’d love to expand that to your pets 😁 I currently work as a Dog groomer full time but I have availability for walks and drop-Ins everyday after 5 pm and all day on Thursdays. I provide safe, loving care for your dog’s needs, with walks, play, potty breaks, and updates so you always have peace of mind when you are away.

About: Had a 5 month old pup at aged 9 (also had a dominant cat) taught her basics and more over time until she needed medication due to her old age. Looked after friends senior dog which needed meds with food and their other dog that had special dietary needs including medication 3 times a day. House and dog&cat sat for friends that would go away to France for a long weekends I have plenty of time to give care and attention. I am not working at the moment and in between job maybe this is my calling we have a lot of space in the home and in the yard. We do not have any of our own pets yet, but we are talking a lot about them. We have a large 4ft fenced in grass yard and a large basement to allow for off leash freedom to play regardless of weather. Over the back fence we have active cranberry bogs with loads of open space and smells perfect for long walks. I am a fast walker and happy to cover 3-5 miles on a walk. Any fur-babies that need to stay overnight will be looked after like they are my own. I’ll send lots of pictures and make sure your pet is comfortable with as much attention as it needs.
“Kami was very accommodating with my last minute request for a drop-in visit the next day. She arrived promptly and sent an adorable picture of my little ones who looked very content with their new friend. I will reach out to Kami again for future needs.”

“Jordan did a great job watching our cat, Cleo. Her daily report card was thorough including pictures of Cleo getting some pets which surprises us because she's usually a shy cat. We would happily have Jordan pretty sit again.”

About: Been around animals my whole life, went to a college for vet tech for a short period, love caring for all types of animals, my cat would agree! I work from home so I have plenty of time to play with your pets! I’m around a majority of the day, but after 5 pm, I’m especially yours! Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Middleborough Center
She was absolutely incredible! This was my first time leaving my cat, so I was very nervous, but she made me feel completely reassured and comfortable. She always kept me updated, sent pictures, and let me know how my cat was doing while I was away in Florida. I could tell my cat was in such caring and trustworthy hands. I’m so grateful for the amazing care she provided, and I will absolutely continue using her anytime I need a sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Middleborough Center. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
