About: Hello! I have trained puppies and dogs for basic obedience and shows for 15 years. I started as a mentee at 9 with a certified show dog runner and trainer for 1.5 years and started training my neighbor’s dogs as practice. I have since started boarding various pets throughout college up until now. As a pet owner, I know just how important it is to find the right person to care for and be responsible for our family members - I’m definitely that person and will ensure the upmost respect for you and your pets! I like to give my clients and their pets the time to get to know me and feel like they’re making the right choice. I like to keep everything transparent and open for discussion. I live in a large two-story home with a fenced backyard and plenty of running space. I believe in lots of mental and physical stimulation to keep all animals in my care happy and healthy. I work from home at the moment so I have a very flexible schedule. I like to get 10k steps a day for my own health and make it a point to go for a 2 hour walk a day and love having a companion there with me :) My home is pet proofed from any toxic plants, food is kept out of reach, and my home is treated for pests and fleas monthly. I also have dog gates in case I ever need to section a part of the home off. I don’t like to use dog crates in my home and like to let pets have a lot of freedom and space to feel their most comfortable.

She is knowledgeable about dogs and very conscientious, having gone the extra mile to ensure that Emma was not able to get to any other animal's food (since Emma has food allergies). Patricia also texted me pics during the day of Emma enjoying her walk, which further helped to make my day more enjoyable by putting my mind at ease. I will not hesitate to book with Patricia again the next time I'm in the area!”

My booking that day was a pretty long one and he had no problem stepping up to help out. He also took my dogs out for a run, even though I did not ask that from him because it was above and beyond. He happily met my request for extra precaution to block off/shore up the perimeter on the side of house because I was a little concerned about the gate/fence latch that had 1 fastener loose. About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life. From our family pets, to finally getting my own almost 20 years ago! I now have 2 rescue dogs. I am experienced with high maintenance medical needs, as well as high energy pups. I am the go to babysitter & walker for my friends and friends of friends! I foster and volunteered through a local shelter many different dogs all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. I grew up with English Mastiffs, so big dogs don’t intimidate me at all! I love every dog I meet! My most commonly used phrase is definitely, “Can I say hi to your dog?” :) Dog sitting/walking is my only gig right now, and I am a mom to my kiddo full time. My schedule is very flexible, with lots of weekday availability, and some weekend availability, too!
