About: Since about 12 years old my neighborhood friends would hire me to dogs sit while their family went out of town. I’ve always had a huge amount of love for animals so I never had any problem doing so. Fast forward 5 years later my parents began breeding French bulldogs. My siblings and I had a lot of responsibility on our hands are far as feeding them, bathing, keeping them groomed, making sure they’re up to date on shots and etc. I currently work from home so that’s enables me with plenty of free time to walk, play with/take to the park, and feed your lovely animals! In my home my dog is crate trained. I do have a crate for my puppy for if friends come over and are not comfortable with him I can put him away for a few hours. I prefer all animals be crate trained , but only go to the crate if they would like to do so. I do not mind dogs walking around my house. I have a puppy of my own so every morning I get up and take my puppy on a 30 minute walk as well as every evening once I get home from work. I have an animal friendly house so I usually let pups/kittys run around the house as long as they’ve been fed and taken out for a potty break.

I am happy to provide care during the week if the pet is used to going a full work day alone. I can provide full day care on weekends. :) I prefer to care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable. This keeps Tootsie active and gives me a mental break from work.     3.    Afternoon Engagement:     •    I incorporate short play sessions between tasks to provide Toots with mental stimulation, whether it’s a game of fetch, tug, or a puzzle toy.     •    These breaks are timed to coincide with natural pauses in my workflow, helping me stay refreshed and productive.     4.    Evening Care:     •    I dedicate time for a longer walk or play session to meet her exercise needs.     •    Dinner and another potty break follow, ensuring she’s relaxed for the evening.     5.    Winding Down:     •    We end the day with cuddle time and one last potty break before bed, maintaining her routine and comfort. Weekly Routine:     •    Training Sessions: I include short, 5-10 minute training sessions daily to reinforce good behaviors and teach new commands.     •    Socialization: On weekends, I take my dog to a park or pet-friendly area to expose her to new environments, people, and other dogs.     •    Grooming and Maintenance: Weekly brushing keeps her long coat healthy, and I check her nails and ears regularly to prevent any issues.     •    House Cleaning: I allocate time to clean her bedding, toys, and the areas where she spends time to maintain hygiene. Working from home makes it easier to integrate these tasks naturally into my day. It ensures Tootsie’s needs are met while allowing me to balance work responsibilities effectively. When caring for pets in either my own home or a client's home, I prioritize safety by ensuring a secure environment, following their specific care instructions diligently, closely monitoring their behavior, and always keeping their well-being at the forefront, including providing proper food, water, exercise, and access to designated bathroom areas, while fostering a trusting relationship through consistent routines and gentle interactions.
