Cat Sitting in Metamora

About: I have taken care of dogs of all kinds ever since I was very young! I love to play with them, walk them, bathe, anything! I currently am a full time college student so I can mainly have a schedule to run on weekdays, occasional weekends, and no holidays preferably! I cannot watch animals in my home due to being in an apartment but I’m more than willing to do walking and check ins in your home!

“I brought my cat over there. Mary accepted my cat on just about no notice and kept him safe for 3 days. Mary was also very proactive in sending me photos to my phone. This was a nice gesture to keep my mind at ease that my cat was safe and it was also nice just receiving cute photos of my cat from time to time. Some of the photos included my cat bathing in the sun, resting on her couch, and pretty much just enjoying a little vacation. When I came to pick up my pet, she gave me the run down on his behavior and was also very kind enough to allow me to run around her house, move furniture, and to fetch my cat. If you have a pet, you can rest assure knowing Mary can take care of him while you are away. I cannot thank you enough. Will be seeing her in the event my cat needs another hotel. :)”

She was just as warm and accommodating to my forever bunny and the rescued kitty who was dumped and now living in my office. Not only did both animals engage with her right away, Anastasia offered to try to help me find a home for the kitty. She provided thoughtful reports with words and pictures for her 2x/daily visits. Plus--and this is how I know she genuinely cares about animals--she took pictures of kitties she saw outside my apartment building and asked me about them. (They actually belong to my neighbor, but there's no evidence of that.)”

“I have two very anxious dogs who don’t do well around a lot of people but when they got around Grace it was like they had known her all their lives. She was very gentle with them and patient. There are not a whole lot of people I would allow to handle my dogs in my absence but she is one of them. Even when they would drag her along for the walk she stayed so patient and didn’t yell and scream at them but was stern enough they understood and the walks have been great ever since!”

About: Growing up, my family has always owned a variety of pets. I currently care for my two dogs, two snakes, and cat! I began dog sitting for close relatives by the time I was 14 years old, and eventually expanded my care to my family’s friend’s fur babies. I would be grateful to care for yours! I am currently a full time, commuting student in college with a hybrid schedule. The majority of my classes are online and allow for extremely flexible availability. Being a pet owner myself, I am able to complete most care requirements needed. I am currently open to pet sitting outside of my home to ensure maximum comfort for your baby!

About: I have cared for various animals over many years. I was a farm hand and taught horseback riding lessons for 5 years. I learned a lot about animal husbandry care for the horses at the barn. I have dived in to the world of showing dogs and have been enjoying it for 10 years. I have also bred a few litters. We own 4 dogs ranging from 5 months old to 8 years old. I have learned a lot of basic medical skills from having a great working relationship with local veterinarians. I have also worked for two pet stores off and on for almost 10 years. I have always had a passion for animals and they are a large part of my life. I currently run my own business out of my home so I am available to work my own schedule as needed. My pets get daily exercise and along with unlimited couch time with myself and kids. During sports season the pets are crated just while at practice and games. I have a large fenced in yard so we have play time to stretch our legs and get fresh air. Potty time varies based on our pets’ and client pets’ needs so I am very flexible on that when I am home. Crate training is a crucial part of every day life in my home when I am not able to actively watch my pets to keep them safe so all clients must be crate trained — I can offer crate training services for an additional cost. My own pets eat meals once a day in the evening but I am flexible to feed client pets according to their schedule.

“Megan stayed at my house with my 2 senior dogs and my cat. She is kind, trustworthy and reliable. She is also a hard worker and very responsible. My shy Maltese even loved her. Megan even gave my dogs their medication as needed and went above and beyond my expectations. She also watered my flowers for me and left my house in perfect condition. I can't say enough good things about how great of a job she did as my petsitter! I highly recommend Megan as a petsitter and will definately hire her again to care for my precious pets!”

About: I've owned animals all my life. I currently own one outdoor cat and 4 horses. I recently lost my dog of 13 years to cushings disease. I currently work part time at a horse boarding facility and previously worked for several years as a kennel techician. Traveling for a week every year with my family, I know it's hard to find good quality care for my pets. I'd love to be able to provide that care to the pets of other families. I work part time at a horse boarding facility 4 days a week (Thursday - Sunday). I work 2 shifts each day for 3- 4 hours each and have a 2-3 hour break between my shifts. So, I'm basically home every day. We live in a ranch home with a fenced backyard. I live with my Mom who is a big dog lover and would welcome your dog with open arms.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was young, I have volunteered in animal shelters and also did an internship at a local pet hospital. I am at home a lot of the time, and I’m able to drop most things to pet care! I spend most of my weekends home as well. Making sure the pets are fed, walked accordingly and of course play! Animals are family so you treat them like family! Always above and beyond for fur babies!

About: I have been enamored with animals since I was a kid. I have worked on farms, in animal kennels, volunteered in shelters, and taken care of my own furbabies for a long time. Expect the utmost care for your pet when you are away, they will be part of our extended fur family! I am very open and flexible with my schedule. I can accommodate almost any need you would have. Very flexible and want what's best for your pet! I do not have a fenced in yard, but there are available dog parks your dog will get ample amount of time to play/run. I can accommodate long walks.
