“I have known Megan for almost 2 years now & she has watched my pets multiple times!! I went on a week trip out of state & she stayed at my apartment, let my dog out, fed & brushed my cats, & cleaned the litter box. My pets felt so safe around her & my dog even knows her name now. She was just as warm and accommodating to my forever bunny and the rescued kitty who was dumped and now living in my office. Not only did both animals engage with her right away, Anastasia offered to try to help me find a home for the kitty. She provided thoughtful reports with words and pictures for her 2x/daily visits. Plus--and this is how I know she genuinely cares about animals--she took pictures of kitties she saw outside my apartment building and asked me about them. (They actually belong to my neighbor, but there's no evidence of that.)”

“Miranda is a wonderful animal caretaker and has a plethora of various animal husbandry experiences which provide a diverse background in animal care for her. We served in AmeriCorps together at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden where she learned to handle and care for a variety of different animal taxa for public education programs. She then transitioned into the veterinary field and has worked as a tech since our time in AmeriCorps together. She works daily with dogs, cats, and other common household pets. At the new facility where she works, she has the opportunity to help exotic pets as well. She is educated on how to work with different animals, knows how to read them, and respond. I know how well she treats her two dogs, and I would trust her with my dog in a heartbeat (as much of a challenge as he can be, I know she is the right person to help me out with him when needed). “Maya was quick to respond when I needed last minute holiday help. She visited my pup ? three times and made sure he was happy, healthy, and fed. There were some lights and doors left on/open that I didn't have on/open when I left - but that is minor. She really did a good job with my pup, and that's what matters.”

There are not a whole lot of people I would allow to handle my dogs in my absence but she is one of them. Even when they would drag her along for the walk she stayed so patient and didn’t yell and scream at them but was stern enough they understood and the walks have been great ever since!”

About: Growing up, my family has always owned a variety of pets. I currently care for my two dogs, two snakes, and cat! I began dog sitting for close relatives by the time I was 14 years old, and eventually expanded my care to my family’s friend’s fur babies. I would be grateful to care for yours! I am currently a full time, commuting student in college with a hybrid schedule. The majority of my classes are online and allow for extremely flexible availability. Being a pet owner myself, I am able to complete most care requirements needed. I am currently open to pet sitting outside of my home to ensure maximum comfort for your baby!
