Jacob is easily the best petsitter in Sacramento. On this trip, my dog had a stomach ache, and my flight got delayed, and Jacob graciously and diligently helped navigate these challenges. That included waking up before the sun to take my pup out for more potty breaks and accommodating a drop-in after our housesit period had ended.
It was my daughter's wedding and all our usual cat sitters were attending, so I was in a bit of a panic trying to find someone we could trust on short notice. I was very anxious about having a stranger in our home, especially since our cat is truly part of our family, but I am so glad we found Sabrina through Rover. She went above and beyond to make us feel at ease, sending regular updates, photos, and videos throughout the weekend. It made such a difference knowing our cat was in caring hands, and her thoughtful communication helped me relax and actually enjoy the wedding! Karin did an amazing job caring for my one year old Great Dane puppy for almost three days. She ran with her, tried biking with her and just plain wore her out! Not only did she care for Abbey but she kept an eye on watering the yard, even bringing me some succulents to add to my yard from her yard! She did some major re-organizing in my kitchen! I felt completely at ease when gone! She did way more than expected and I will definitely use her again!!
Camilla did a great job watching our three dogs and home while we were out on vacation. She was super responsive and spent lots of time with the dogs, making sure they got walks and cuddles! The day after she left, one of my dogs went looking for her in our guest room, which tells me all I need to know! They were well cared for while we were away. Also the house looked exactly the way we left it, so thank you Camilla for taking care of our home and pups!
Andrea did a phenomal job sitting our dog for the weekend. We were worried about our dogs weird behaviors with strangers, but she seemed perfectly fine the first time she met Andrea. Andrea also sent photos of them on walks during her stay, which we weren’t expecting, but it was much appreciated :)
Joel is part of our family. As Loki's uncle, he always takes great care of him, see our previous reviews! We've booked Joel twice already for next year, and about to book him for a 3 week stay next October. Also, he had more to deal with this trip including donut collar, and a mysterious beeping in our house! Both of which he dealt with, with great communications and his usual calm professionalism. He's the only guy we want taking care of Loki, the most important member of our family.
Jazmin was great! She kept our house clean, followed all instructions, and even helped give our dog eye drops when it wasn’t in the initial instructions. Our animals were very happy with her! She was very communicative and sent us lots of pictures and videos of our babies!
Jodie is an amazing pet sitter. She took great care of all our cats. We have elderly cats on different medicines and are finicky eaters. Jodie did great with their long and complicated schedule. Jodie also left the house cleaner than we left it. Jodie was great at giving daily updates with videos and photos which gave us great peace of mind while away on our trip.
Alice is the BEST! I think my dogs were disappointed to have me back home because it meant she wasn’t staying with them anymore. She took incredible care of my two dogs, the house, and sent daily funny updates with pictures. I’d prefer to gatekeep her but she deserves to be booked and busy. 💅
