“Jessica is amazing with our new puppy! She was able to accommodate us on short notice, which we really appreciated. She walked him, fed him, played with him, and even introduced him to other little puppies so he could socialize. She greeted me warmly and treated both of us with such kindness. Our pup came home happy and tired from all the fun. We will definitely be coming back!”

“Karen was a great help with Luna when I unexpectedly had to leave the dog home alone for a VERY long day. She came over to give her cuddle and pee breaks and a trip to Barkside, Luna’s home away from home. 💕 Even went the extra mile to clean up a little dog mess. Thanks!!!!!”

About: For 15 years, I’ve cared for my own pets through every stage of life—boneless puppy days, anxious rescue transitions, senior routines, and chronic care. Those years taught me patience, intuition, and how to help animals feel genuinely safe. I bring that same calm, steady energy to every pet I look after. I’m comfortable supporting a wide range of needs, from medication schedules and senior care to helping rescues and puppies build confidence. And because I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, I send check-ins and photos so you always feel connected, even from afar. I have a flexible work schedule that makes it easy to plan my day around pet visits and walks. Whether it’s early mornings, lunchtime check-ins, or evening routines, I can adapt to your pet’s needs and keep things consistent. I already build my own dogs’ walks, playtime, and snuggle breaks into my day, so adding a few more paws to the mix fits right in. Whether I’m caring for pets in your home or mine, I aim to create a calm, predictable environment. I stick closely to your routines—meals, walks, meds, and house rules—so your pet’s day feels familiar and low-stress. In your home, I treat the space with care and stay mindful of doors, gates, and any potential risks (I have my own Harry Husky Houdini, so I understand escape artists). If something seems off, I’ll check in right away. At my home, pets stay in a safe, pet-friendly space with no toxic plants or loose hazards. We have a doggy door for easy access outside, but all outdoor time is supervised. I never do off-leash time unless we’re in a fully fenced area and you’ve approved it. I communicate often, so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is for you to feel just as at ease as your pet.
About: Hi! I’m Daniella — a dog lover and active walker based in downtown Detroit. I’ve always been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family, and I treat every dog like my own. Whether it’s long walks, belly rubs, or quiet couch time, I will make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and happy. My work is flexible so I can give your dog plenty of attention. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, and I’ll always keep you updated with photos and notes after each walk or visit. I live downtown and have a flexible work schedule so I am easily able to go on walks, runs, or be home whenever it’s planned for. I live in a spacious apartment near capitol park dog park and the river walk. I have a car so I'm happy to host here or go to you.
“Our two dogs had a great time over our 3 days of daycare. Joe and Madeleine are great people and obvious dog lovers! Romeo and Sadie can’t wait to go back next time we’re in town!”

About: I have taken care of various types of dog babies across many states. I learn quickly about what a dog needs especially when factoring in weather. I work from home most days and run in the evening. Usually long distance runs are in the morning so not inconvenient for night stays. For my home, I have a very spacious dog park and closed in balcony. Also live close to the riverwalk for night walks. There is space in home for medium sized crates if necessary.

About: Hi there! I grew up with cats but l'm also a dog lover. I dog sit my friends’ corgi and husky sometimes so I decided to join this platform. I also love going to the dog park and think it's the happiest place on earth! I have worked remotely since 2020 and I love that dog walking is built in exercise. I also am more than happy to drop in and dog sit. I live in a secure, pet friendly apartment building with a fenced in track area for dogs. It’s conveniently located in midtown Detroit, Michigan with safe places to go for walks.
“Excellent communication. Expectations of what was needed from me was made very clear, constant response to text messages before, during and after the appointment. Would definitely recommend”

“Friendly, professional, compassionate, attentive,.courteous and so much more...Beverly is a phenomenal caretaker for my precious little furrbaby. She communicated with me regularly during her first visit and that put my mind at ease. I only have positive things to say about my experience and plan to rebook. Thanks Beverly 💎”

“Lasya was amazing with our two dogs! They provided regular updates and pictures throughout the day and kept us feeling very comfortable while we were away from our fur babies! They got outside for regular walks, but they also have lots of room inside for them to play. Their dog is also great and got along easily with ours. They will be our ‘go to’ people whenever we are back in town!”

“This was a last minute booking which turned from 2-3 hours to 6+ due to an emergency, but Pallavi went above and beyond at taking care of Mylo! Cannot be more appreciative and would 100% recommend! Thank you so much!”

About: I’ve been a groomers assistant and bather at a grooming shop and doggie daycare for a few years in past and I have access to a dog bathing suite for $15 for the use and $25 per dog. Blow drying those furry friends coats out! :) I’ve been dog and house sitting for years and I have had a few dogs of my own. I get excited to see every dog and cat I meet, they really make my day. If you’re out of my walking radius and still would like me to care for your pets you can provide transportation fees then I’d be happy to accept the jobs if I’m available that are last minute when you can’t find someone else. This is my only job, caring for pets now. I have worked for over 30 years and I have found pet sitting to be the best retirement gig for my wellbeing. So I’m available quite a bit. I can walk dogs or do house visits for either cats or dogs. I can help with training if you have rules or something you’d like me to help with for your pets. I can also pick up an item you may need from premier pet shop.

About: 🎁 HOLIDAY & NEW CLIENT SPECIALS AVAILABLE 🎁 I’m a professional dog walker, trainer, and pet care specialist with over a decade of experience helping pets thrive through structure, consistency, and individualized care. While dogs are my main focus, I also care for cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and select farm animals. I have extensive experience with reactive or anxious dogs, puppies, high-drive working breeds, seniors on medication, and pups with complex behavioral and/or medical needs. From single-pet homes to farms, I’ve found that every animal, regardless of species, age, or temperament, flourishes when their layered needs, routines, and boundaries are understood and honored. My care style is calm, attentive, and highly detail-oriented. I learn each pet’s unique quirks, sensitivities, and cues, and follow your routines exactly as you establish them, ensuring every element, from feeding and medication to training and enrichment, is handled thoughtfully to keep your pet happy, calm, and secure. My time with your pets is guided by careful observation and consistent communication with you, and you’ll receive photos, updates, and thoughtful notes on the schedule you prefer so you always feel connected and informed. I offer: • In-home care (overnight or day) following your pets’ routines exactly • Structured walks, drop-ins, and enrichment sessions tailored to energy levels and needs • Short-term or occasional care for busy schedules When caring for pets in your home, I can also water plants, do light laundry and cleaning, and prepare meals for animals as needed. I always leave homes cleaner than I arrived and pride myself on being highly accommodating to client needs and a low-lift guest. I work best with families who value communication and see their pets’ routines as essential. Every animal in my care receives the same thoughtful attention, patience, and structure I would provide my own. Tabor, my family’s senior dog, is the heart behind why I do this work. He’s the reason I learned how much presence, patience, and intentional care animals truly need, and that philosophy guides how I show up for every pet I look after. If you’re seeking attentive care that aligns with your pets’ needs and your household’s routines, I’d love to chat. Feel free to message me to ask about holiday and new client discounts or to schedule a virtual meet and greet. I’m excited to to answer questions and discuss your pet’s needs! Pets are the best part of my day. I’ve always felt a deep connection with them, and as an introvert, I’ve found that spending time with animals feels as natural, grounding, and joyful as spending time with people. I love the quiet moments as much as the playful ones, whether it’s sipping my morning tea while a dog curls up next to me or laughing at a cat chasing a sunbeam across the floor. I find joy in noticing their little quirks, celebrating their routines, and just being present with them. When I’m caring for pets in someone’s home or hosting them at mine, their comfort and security are my priority, but it’s never work — it’s part of my day and the part I love most. I enjoy learning what makes each animal unique, following routines closely, and creating a calm, attentive environment where they feel safe, seen, and cared for. I work for some incredible folks, too! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping things as close to their usual routine as possible—having their parents gone is hard enough! That means sticking to feeding schedules, walk times, medication if needed, and any specific instructions you provide — all while giving them plenty of love, attention, and calm energy. I’m respectful of your space, tidy, and communicative, so you’ll always know how things are going while you’re away. For drop-ins or walks, I make sure each visit emphasizes connection and enrichment, not just exercise. I give pets time to settle, play, get their energy out (or just relax), and always check on their water, food, and general well-being. If I’m providing overnight care, I plan to spend the majority of time in-home, so your pets get lots of company throughout the day, not just in the mornings and evenings. No matter the service, your pet’s comfort and safety come first.
Medical Center dog parents share their Rover experiences
We’ve had such a positive experience with Alyssa. She is attentive, kind, and truly cares about Teddy. He was relaxed and content when we picked him up, and we really appreciated the updates and cute photos throughout the day. We feel very comfortable leaving Teddy in her care and would highly recommend Alyssa to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving sitter.

Tajuana was fantastic! She frequently communicated how our pup was, his meals, where they went, and how well they got along. She took him to the dog park, and it made me laugh to see our pup spent most of the time by her side. That is so him. Happy to book with Tajuana again.

It was my first time using the app. I was in Detroit and was nervous about leaving my furry baby with someone I didn't know, but I'm so happy it was Michael. He replied to my messages to check on her and was super nice. He took her for a long walk, which I'm sure she loved, and when I went to get her, I could tell she was well taken care of because she was calm and worn out. Thanks a lot, Michael.

Deepika took very good care of Chili. She was lovely and calm in her interactions with Chili and myself. I was very appreciative of Deepika’s very timely response to my last minute request for an initial booking. She provided updates and pics and responded promptly to my queries throughout the day. Chili obviously had a great day with Deepika and her King Charles Spaniel. She expressed how much she liked Chili and that she would like to host her again. Chili will definitely be visiting Deepika again. Thank you Deepika!

Rafael was amazing with my dog. He took care of him with ease. Rafael also took my dog for walks which was great exercise. Right before picking my dog up. Rafael made sure to take Columbus out so that he can be comfortable on the drive back home. Rafael would constantly update me with what's going on and would also snap pics of my dog enjoying. Thanks again hermano! Gracias para todos
