About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages. I’ve rescued a senior pit bull, cared for a 115-lb Giant Schnauzer, and given oral medications when needed — so I’m comfortable with pups who need a little extra attention or special care. I’m patient, attentive, and make sure every dog gets the love, playtime, and snuggles they deserve. 🐾 By day, I’m a full-time risk professional… by nights and weekends, I’m all about pets! 🐾 Evening walks and drop-ins on weekdays, anytime fun on weekends play, snuggles, and belly rubs included. 😸🐶 Pets staying in my home will be treated like family. I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where animals can feel safe and comfortable from the moment they arrive. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs whether that means sticking to a specific feeding schedule, administering medications, reinforcing training routines, or simply offering extra cuddles and reassurance. I currently have two friendly cats who are used to a peaceful home setting. I also previously had two dogs, so I understand the structure, patience, and exercise dogs need to feel happy and secure. My experience with both cats and dogs makes me comfortable caring for different personalities, temperaments, and energy levels. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, which means your pet will have full-day supervision, companionship, and plenty of attention on those days. Even on other days, I prioritize a consistent routine to make sure pets feel safe and settled. Living right on the Detroit Riverwalk is a huge advantage for dog care. We have easy access to long, scenic walks and safe opportunities for exercise and socialization. Whether your dog loves an energetic walk or prefers a slower-paced stroll, I can tailor our outings to match their needs and comfort level. Above all, I prioritize safety, communication, and consistency. I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel completely confident and connected while your pet is in my care. My goal is to create a home-away-from-home experience where your pet feels comfortable, loved, and well cared for.

“Jess is wonderful. I have engaged her twice to board my American Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Both times issues arose, one was a health issue and another where my flight was cancelled and I needed extra days of care. She cheerfully accommodated the situation and put my mind at ease during a stressful time. She takes great care of Halle, who is a rescue and can be reactive towards other dogs. I usually have to give a lot of instructions for sitters, but not so much with Jess, she just knows what to do. I especially noticed that Halle was more relaxed after staying with Jess. Now that she is used to her, I feel really comfortable leaving Halle with Jess.”

She was able to go to rescue my baby after a Rover sitter left him home alone while I was out of town due to an “emergency”. Beverly was there step by step and I wouldn’t know what I would’ve done without her stepping in to get a ride to my place, pack him and his things, and take him in for boarding. She sent me pics and videos to ensure he was well taken care of. I would book with her again!”
