What an amazing young lady! Positive, concerned, kind and gentle! Willing to go the extra mile for Murray and us! She listened to us, gave us suggestions…this was our first time leaving Murray with anyone! Keely provided pictures of Murray and asked great questions the entire time she had Mur! Keely agreed to a meet and greet before her time with Murray and it went superbly well. She got down on her knees and talked to Murray. She gave him time to adjust to her and on our designated day Mur walked right up to her and gave her a kiss! It was great! It did our hearts gud! Mur is a senior dog and we are thankful to have found Keely:) She is and will be our go to person from now on!

About: I’ was raised on a small dairy/animal farm since I was a kid so I have lots of experience with dogs/cats. I have never not had a dog in my life… I’m very loving, caring and responsible. Trained puppies up to senior dogs with medical conditions that required meds like my own. I am currently not working and would love to share my home and my yellow lab, Mason and cat, Sophie with others. I have a nice size yard and a park just down the street. Quiet neighborhood. Dog friendly. I do not have children. I do have a crate if needed. There is also a long tie out that I use for my 2 year old yellow lab. I do have a house cat but she stays up stairs and likes to be alone.

About: Hi, I’m Jamie, and I’m thrilled to bring my love for animals and my 18 years of experience as a Registered Nurse to the world of pet care. I know that your pets are more than just animals—they’re family. That’s why I offer personalized pet boarding and professional dog walking services tailored to meet the unique needs of each furry friend. I take a very limited number of animals at one time so that your Furry family member will become a member of our family while they’re here! As a lifelong animal lover, I understand the importance of trust and reliability when it comes to caring for your pets! Whether it’s a cozy staycation while you’re away or a fun-filled walk to keep them active, I treat every pet with the same love and attention I give my own. ** at this time I cannot accept intact male dogs** thank you for your understanding! I work part time, I am home the majority of most days so chances are I will have availability for you! I am flexible with days and times! Last minute plans? No problem! I have a large fenced in 1/2 acre partially wooded dog run. I have multiple sized crates and smaller fenced in areas as well with plenty of space for you pooch!

I have been looking for a new dog sitter. My dog loves other dogs so I wanted her to have a playmate and the house needed a fenced in yard. Karen’s name popped up and I am so happy I found her. It’s difficult to leave your dog with a stranger for the first time but upon meeting Karen my fears were alleviated. She was very attentive to my dog and I was impressed that she had read my dogs bio prior to my arrival and already new the details I wanted her to know. I would highly recommend Karen to watch your dog.

About: As a nurse, fur mom, foster mom, and Vice President of a rescue, I have unique skills that make me the best fit for the job! I have experience with dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens including neonatal. I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to focus on Rover and devote my full attention, time, and love to providing pet care to countless families in the area. Outside of my natural nursing instincts in wanting to help others, my profession has also made me someone mindful of the environment and the ones I am caring for. Safety is a top priority. Regardless of whether the care provided is in your home or mine, you know you will be comfortable leaving your fur babies in my hands. I effectively multi-task, where I can be the "fun friend" for your pet while maintaining a safe environment. I believe it is essential to not only be aware of the surroundings and assess various safety factors of the environment but also to be mindful of the animals, their behaviors, and the situation.

About: I have had animals for 3 years. I had 4 rabbits and I’ve also taken care of newborn rabbits. I currently have 4 cats and 2 big dogs. I also have experience fostering newborn puppies and kittens. My love for animals is so large, I will do anything to make sure they’re happy and healthy. I have completely open availability because I am not working at all and just finished college. I can work any day, any time, even overnight if necessary. I am experienced with reactive dogs, I crate my own dogs so I am capable of crating and walking dogs, as well as feeding and watering animals as well as playing with them, and even giving medicine if necessary. Comfortable with picking up waste. I am able to exercise dogs mentally and physically because I do have some experience with training as well. I also love cuddles from all animals.

About: Dogs and cats have always held a special place in my heart, ever since childhood. While experiencing some major life changes, the compassion of these animals have really worked to keep my spirits up! I have 3+ years experience volunteering at the humane society, walking and playing with dogs, and cuddling cats! I recently fell in love with two little tuxies and adopted them, and a kitten! I am able to walk miles with the most active pups, and help warm up the stiffest kitty. I will help your dog work through any seperation anxiety by treating him with approved treats, toys, exercise and lots of loving. At the end of the day, to prevent any contagious germs/illnesses, I disinfect any toys, bowls, and blankets that may have been used by a previous dog. Transportation is never an issue. Availability is 7 days a week, times from 9:30am-10pm My schedule is quite flexible as I am currently searching for a work from home job so I can work and watch your pet at the same time. I will have time to relax with them, keep them busy on walks and lots of playing and cuddling. I will keep your pet as comfortable as possible and try to keep them on their routine so they are not too nervous. Having notes as little reminders is a great help when staying over for a few days.

About: Hello! I have owned animals my whole life. I strive to give every animal that comes into my life the best care imaginable! We have four female dogs (one is intact) a rabbitry in the backyard, and two lovely horses that are boarded on a farm I work at! I have intense knowledge into just about every stage in the walk of life when it comes to dogs! We have doggie pools for the summer and a big fenced in yard year round! We offer all sorts of enrichment for dogs of all ages and plenty of time to stretch legs and just have fun being a dog! Not only do I have vet assistance training, which is helpful for any sort of medical condition, I also have deep knowledge into dog behavior and training, which definitely helps with those puppies! I also have grooming experience! Does your dog need nail trims or desheded while I help with their care? Not a problem! We have a nice neighborhood to go on walks as well! When your dogs are here, it's like they are having a vacation as well! Restrictions: no intact males please! We prefer crate trained since we have young children (note: our children are never left unsupervised around dogs! They have great manners and are becoming amazing dog owners themselves!) Absolutely no aggressive dogs! Saturdays and Sundays I feed mornings at the farm I work at, I'm normally up by 8am! I'm away for 2 hours maximum, then home until evening feeds! I feed evenings 7 days a week, I'm gone for approximately 3 hours! Dogs are allowed on the farm property if it is absolutely necessary, I prefer to keep boarding dogs at home because there are many risks with bringing dogs to farms! We can let dogs out to potty even during the night! Every animal that comes into my care is treated with utmost respect and the best quality care one can provide. Ideally our dogs are only crates for about 5 hours a day, and then mostly through the night.

As of July 2026, there are 52 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Meadville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Meadville commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 52 sitters in Meadville, 82% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
