“Kristen had a great meet with Oscar and she gave me amazing updates when she was walking him! Pics were adorable and made me smile. Eased my mind since I was states away for business. She seems to genuinely love animals and she made sure to ask lots of questions to make sure she helped with what was needed. Great job!”

“Keely has looked after my dog before as a sitter, and I was so happy to have her take my pup for a walk recently. She’s always so kind, reliable, and clearly loves animals. My dog absolutely adores her and gets so excited every time she sees her! It’s such a comfort knowing that Keely already knows my dog, so I can trust that she’s in great hands. She always takes the time to give updates and really goes the extra mile. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Keely to anyone looking for a caring and dependable dog walker or sitter!”

I have an invisible fence with one and a half acres of area to roam. I have pet stairs leading to those hard to reach areas (like the couch or bed) for small or senior pets. I also have a cart to pull behind my bike if there are any pets that aren't so active but like fresh air. My cats enjoy the luxury of having their own bedroom so they can have peace from the dogs when needed. And of course I have a plethora of toys and treats. I am willing to make accommodations for special needs pets.

I have a dog and cat of my own that are like my children so I know just how much they mean and the responsibility that comes with them. “Jayme is so great with Luna. She came over to meet her before they started walking together which made me feel at ease. My girl is so so happy every time they walk together. I'm glad that I found her as I'm picky with who I allow near my baby. Jayme asked so many questions and listened when I was telling her about Luna. She's allowed me to feel at ease knowing that my girl is in capable hands.”

Hands down the best Dog walker I’ve ever had! The constant check in, the picture updates, everything. I was a little scared at first since my pup doesn’t do well with new people but from the pictures she’s sent me, my pup fell in love with Ms. Kristen. 10/10 will book again in the future!!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
