“Grace is a very sweet person that truly loves animals. She did an exceptional job sitting with our fur babies. She sent us text messages and pictures throughout their stay to keep us updated on how well they were doing. I felt so comfortable with my dogs in her care. I will continue to use her services and I would highly recommend her to others. Awesome!!!!”

“Sophia & Kevin took such good care of our boy. We had some concerns about his anxiety but he was perfectly happy with them. They were super consistent with updates and photos/videos. He got to play with so many other dogs and truly had the time of his life! They put us at ease while we were on our very long and very long distance trip. We did not have to worry for a second that he was being loved on, played with, and treated like one of their pack. Thank you so so much for watching our buddy for us! 100/100 would absolutely board him with you both again and 1000% recommend them for anyone's pup!”

“Maggs was nothing short of AMAZING. She took such good care of my dogs!! She updated me regularly with photos and videos. Both my pups enjoyed running around and playing outside with her labs! She does a great job on catering to each dogs needs. I highly recommend Maggs!”

“My dogs have a dog door and someone home pretty much all the time. They come and go out the door as they please and Cindy was able to provide a similar routine + her dogs = bonus friends! Cindy is a pleasure to work with. She is well equipped for the job and everything went smoothly. I I knew they were in good hands while I was away!”

“This was the first time I left my dogs in other house for the weekend, Donna was so nice, she sent pictures over the weekend, definitely I recommend her!”

“They did an amazing job with our dog. They communicated so well and gave her tons of attention and such a nice stay. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a wonderful pet sitter”

“Highly recommend, went above and beyond to make sure a baby was taken care of. Our puppy is very nervous around new people and does not eat well until he gets to know people. Orlando was in constant communication with us including videos and pics. When we discussed Luca's eating habits he went and got raw meat for him and hand fed him when needed. I truly appreciate this.”

“This was my first experience with Rover and it was fantastic. I was given several options but Charline was who we selected. It’s hard to put into words how amazing it was to have her watch our little angel. She was very communicative, responsive to messages, and took our little one in as her own. I will absolutely be reaching back out to her for her assistance in the future!!!!”

“Gina is great! She took care of my two girls while I was away for several days, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. She was professional and friendly, and kept me updated with photos of the girls throughout. I highly recommend Gina to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

“Melissa was great with our dog. Our dog is shy and skittish but she made her feel at home. Melissa and her kids took Luna for walks. I would recommend her. We would definitely use Melissa’s services again”

“Shani is very warm and friendly, she also sent us pictures and updates every day. When we picked our fur baby up after our 3 day trip, he was relaxed and happy. We highly recommend Shani to others!!”

“Amber took very good care of our dog Prince during an overnight stay in her home. She kept us updated on how he was doing through texts and pics. She is very prompt when responding to messages which I really appreciate. Prince was kept entertained and active playing with her puppy, so much so that once he got home he knocked out. Amber and her family were super friendly. I will definitely rebook with Amber in the future.”

“We recently used Steve and Randi to watch our Lab for five days while we went out of the country, and we are glad that we did. It was readily apparent upon meeting them that these were true dog people and that their own dog, Mika, was loved and well cared for. They welcomed our pup, who is by no means small and can be a handful, with open arms. Mika was thrilled to have a friend. Their home is very dog-friendly, both inside and out, with plenty of room in their fenced back yard for exploration. While we were away, we received daily updates and plenty of pictures. When our returning flight was delayed a day, Steve and Randi were very understanding and accommodating. This was our first experience using Rover pet sitters, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. We'd definitely recommend Steve and Randi, and will use them again in the future.”
About: I have years of experience between animals, livestock, babies, and senior care. I breed Australian shepherds and Japanese Akitas, and currently own chickens. I do own my own house and with a decent size fenced backyard. I’m available all day of the week. If I have to step out, I have cameras all over my house and around my house. I have a fenced yard, cameras all over the outside of my house and in the inside as well. There is always someone at my house.

We booked Haden for our dog Donnie, and he had a blast! Cash (his dog) got along with Donnie perfectly. Haden provided plenty of feedback (photos and videos) of Donnie's visit. Haden was also extremely flexible with our drop off and pick up. Can not thank him enough! Would recommend

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
