“I cannot say enough good things about Kristen. She was amazing. Throughout my vacation I received frequent communication (pictures and info) which was very much appreciated. My dog has a history of seizures and unfortunately had 2 while we were gone. Kristen did exactly as we instructed and handled them like a pro. She kept our house spotless and left it exactly how it was when we left. We will be using her anytime we travel in the future. I highly recommend her to anyone.”

About: Hey guys! I'm just a Midwest girl living in my Midwest world! I have the typical Veteran husband and one of our three kids still living at home! We have a 7 pound Chihuahua and two kittens who are the current rulers of the home. I bring a professional, hands-on background to every dog I care for, shaped by my experience supporting K9 work in the military and training dogs across a wide range of needs. From guiding young puppies through early obedience and socialization to reinforcing structure and confidence in adult dogs, I focus on calm, consistent, and respectful handling. My approach blends proven training principles with genuine affection—clear communication, routine, and trust, paired with plenty of attention and care. On our private 20-acre property, dogs have the space to decompress, explore safely, and enjoy a peaceful environment while still receiving individualized guidance and close supervision. While we do have 20 acres that we can walk through we also have a fenced in area and GPS Fence collars for your dog to use. Depending on the training your dog has been through we can work with you to see what fits best. I am a full time mom who homeschools her kid. My husband is home part time so most of the time we are home if not pup will be crated. I have a fenced in yard and a pet safe GPS collar for the pups. So no matter what the pup will be secured. There is no gate to leave the fenced in area so to leave you have to go through the house.
“Aubrey took care of our sweet Morty for a few days. Morty has some health challenges, and Aubrey was confident administering all of his meds. She was communicative, and we really appreciate the care she provided to Morty.”

About: I have managed a boarding facility for the last 8 years. I decided that our fur babies need a lot more attention. I have bathed pups, done nails, given meds including insulin, built bonds with fearful dogs with patience and time. I have always owned senior animals so I do well with our senior fur babies as well with gentle loving care. My life has evolved around pet care. I have worked 60+ hours a week at a boarding facility. So I can be available 24 hours a day to keep strictly to your pet care routine. Routines are important with our fur babies I will make sure your pups and cats are fed on time. Taken out regularly and clean up where ever they do potty. I will play with them outside or inside so they get both physical stimulation and love on them for the emotional and mental stimulation
“Ashley was a perfect fit for us. She was able to come meet our stranger adverse dog before the stay. She was able to stay with our dog while we were away and kept us informed, with pictures. She was respectful of our space, our dog, and us. We look forward to using her again.”

About: With over 10 years of experience in dog walking, dog sitting, and house sitting, I’ve had the joy of building lasting relationships with pets and their people. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages and temperaments—from energetic puppies to slow-moving seniors, rescues with trauma histories, high-anxiety pups, and velcro dogs who thrive with extra attention and reassurance. I also have hands-on experience with a wide variety of breeds, including Chihuahuas, Australian Cattle Dogs, Huskies, German Shepherds, Labradors, Pit Bulls, Dobermans, Rottweilers, and plenty of lovable mixed breeds. Whether your dog is small and shy, big and strong, or somewhere in between, I adapt my care to meet their individual needs, energy levels, and personalities. Since starting on Rover this summer, I’ve completed multiple house sitting and dog sitting gigs, both short and extended stays. This includes week-long stays for two different clients—one with two dogs and another with one—and several short-term boarding stays in my home earlier in the season. (Note: I’m currently not offering boarding, but I do offer house sitting, dog walking, and drop-in care!) In the past, I spent six years caring for a client’s dog while they traveled annually to Peru, staying in their home for about two weeks each year. During those visits, I handled daily walks, feeding, and plant care. I’ve also provided weekly dog walks for a client with two dogs, and many of my clients include plant care as part of my services while they’re away. My clients appreciate that: 🕒 I’m self-employed and work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and can offer more one-on-one time and consistent care. 🐾 I don’t have any pets of my own, so I’m a great match for dogs who don’t do well around other animals or need a calm, focused environment. 🐕🦺 I’m active and outdoorsy, so I love taking dogs on multiple daily walks, hikes, lake adventures, dog park trips, or whatever their favorite activities are. 🧸 I also love to spoil dogs with attention, treats (with permission), and pup cups! I’m great at following your dog’s regular routine to help them feel safe and comfortable in your absence. I also offer regular photo updates so you can stay connected while you're away. Whether you need someone to keep your pup active during the day, provide loving in-home overnight care, or water your plants while caring for your dog—I’m here to provide reliable, personalized, and compassionate care. As a self-employed professional with a flexible, work-from-home schedule, I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pup. I make your pet’s care a priority—whether that means sticking to a specific routine, accommodating special needs, or providing extra enrichment throughout the day. I’m happy to work with you to create a personalized care plan that fits your dog’s unique personality and lifestyle. I also offer long-term and recurring services for clients looking for reliable, consistent support and peace of mind. When caring for pets—whether in your home or mine—safety is always my top priority. I carefully check the space for potential hazards, make sure doors and gates are secure, and keep anything dangerous out of reach. Your pet will always be in a safe, supervised, and comfortable environment. Trust is essential in building strong relationships with both pets and their people. I have years of hands-on experience, glowing reviews, and a long list of happy clients who regularly refer me—all of which reflect my dedication and consistency. I also pride myself on being a clear and responsive communicator, so you’ll always be in the loop with regular updates, photos, and honest check-ins. When I’m in your home, I treat it with the utmost care and respect. I follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible—whether that means walks, feedings, playtime, or quiet time in their favorite spot. I make sure they always have access to food, fresh water, and a cozy, clean place to rest. My goal is to keep your pet happy, relaxed, and feeling at home—even when you're not there.
