“Vetra is a true dog mom. She was very attentive and he was a very happy puppy when we picked him up. We would definitely recommend her and will look to bring Dusty to her again.”

“Erika was the best! This was Coppers first doggy daycare and he loved it ! She paid attention to him, gave him walks, and he enjoyed playing with her dog as well. She communicated with me throughout the day, which made me feel at ease since we are not from this area. I highly recommend Erika and I will use her every time we are back here.”

About: I have always been living around pets of all kinds in my home country Switzerland (Reptiles, dogs, cats, cows..). I currently own 4 cats and 1 large dog. I have a cat Catio and a little studio just for cats ! But I also love dogs ! We have a fenced yard where your dog can run. My dog gets along with others pets, just not unfixed males. Working from home so your pet won’t be left alone. I will love your pets like I love mine. We love animals of all kind ! I am not working currently, home a lot. I am very available and I have a big car as well if pet transport is needed. There is usually always someone home ! The yard is fenced, we are on a canal but I never leave dogs outside unsupervised (at your house or mine) ! The cats are only indoor, I have an automatic litter box, and a regular litter box, cat trees, scratchers, water fountain. And rooms available if they need to be by themselves. I can also stay in your home with your dog or cat and come to care for it as needed.
About: A little about myself.... I got my first pet when my father brought home a puppy when I was about 6 years old. I've always loved dogs my whole life. I've had 4 poodles two boys (our family pets) & my own- one boy toy poodle & one girl- who was a Bichon-Poo- both were mine. Sadly, both have crossed over to the "Rainbow Bridge." Sophie was also an emotional support & therapy dog for my mother. Recently had to put my most recent rescue Sugar down due to complications from heart failure. My home is without and dogs or cats now. I just have 2 parakeets. However, I've fostered dogs & will continue to do so from time to time. That said, I will always be sure to give all of my clients pets the love & comfort that they need & deserve. 😊 Contact me for boarding/petsitting at my home anytime. I am also available to pet/house sit at my clients homes as well. My reviews speak for themself! 🐾❤️ I have a lot of flexibility with my part time job so I can care for pets with ease. I can be available just about anytime! I can take care of your fur babies anytime💕🐾 I can pet/house sit at a client's home. I am available to board/sit/dog day care at my home full time.
“Tara is a very experienced doggy mommy. I’m learning a lot from her and she really pays attention to each dogs personality and cares for them in manner that makes them comfortable and happy . We will definitely use her again . Nice safe house with plenty of room for dogs to roam in the heart of the home where they are easily supervised .”

About: I've been pet sitting for about 10 years, I have experience with large and small breeds, young and old. I just enjoy helping pets feel happy and loved while their owners are away. I work part time and have flexible hours in the afternoons and evenings. I am also very flexible with staying at client's homes for pet sitting especially on weekends because I don't work those days. Every pet has their specific routine and needs, I am very detail oriented and will make sure that their routine will carry on just like you would do for them.
“Our dog received excellent care! We were happy to receive pictures and videos during her first stay, and the communication was very prompt, professional and courteous. We will definitely be bringing her to Alain again!”

About: It is my priority to make each pet feel as comfortable and as happy as possible when they are in my care. I believe animals have feelings and emotions just as much as people do. My heart melts when it comes to animals, especially dogs. I have rescued many animals over the past few years (well they found me) and worked hard to find them good homes. I have also volunteered at shelters as well as donate to charities that help animals. I would adopt 10 dogs if I could afford to... but since I cant, I just make sure that while they are in my care that they are treated as best as can be. I am very in touch with each pets feelings and likes/dislikes. I have a big yard that is fenced in. The dogs love the freedom to roam as they please. I have great references and I am very reliable. I have experience with both large and small dogs. I have had Great Danes of my own and now have Chihuahuas. I don't believe there is any such thing as "just a dog." I send lots of pictures throughout the stay! Thanks for reading.
“Pablo and Elaine have a carefully controlled dog pack with a range of moderate energies well suited for socializing other dogs. Although our dog was initially nervous when we brought her there, she fit in well with the pack by the time we returned to pick her up. We are extremely happy with their service and highly recommend them.”
About: I provide consistent, reliable care for every pet —feeding, playtime, walks, and cuddles — ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and completely loved while you’re away Pet care is part of my everyday life. I’m always home, so I’m ready to give pups attention, walks, and love whenever they need ! I care for pets like they’re part of my family. They enjoy safe play in my fenced yard and the company of my friendly dog

About: I’ve owned and cared for dogs my entire life and have been trusted by friends, family, and neighbors for 10–15 years to care for their pets in both short- and long-term situations. In my home, I maintain a structured, calm environment with consistent routines for feeding, exercise, and supervision. I currently have two well-trained, fully vaccinated dogs (a Goldendoodle and a Bernedoodle) who are very social and used to interacting with other dogs. I’m comfortable managing multiple dogs, understanding behavior, and ensuring a safe, low-stress environment. As a military veteran, I approach pet care professionally—with clear expectations, strong communication, and a focus on safety for all animals in my home. I maintain a flexible schedule and am home frequently throughout the day, which allows for consistent supervision and care. I structure my day around the dogs in my home and can accommodate established feeding, walking, and rest routines as long as they are clearly outlined in advance. My goal is to keep your dog on a schedule they are already comfortable with, while maintaining a calm, structured environment. I limit the number of dogs I take at one time to ensure each dog receives proper attention and consistency. My home is a safe, structured environment with two well-trained, fully vaccinated dogs (a Goldendoodle and a Bernedoodle) who are very social and accustomed to interacting with other dogs. I follow each owner’s instructions closely and will make every effort to maintain your dog’s normal feeding, walking, and daily routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. For safety, I only accept dogs that are friendly, non-aggressive, and comfortable around other dogs. Dogs are supervised, and crating can be accommodated if your dog is crate-trained. I prioritize clear communication so you always know how your dog is doing.

About: I have over 40 years’ experience caring for pets. I've often watched friends and family dogs. As I am now fully retired and recently lost my most precious Dachshund, Nathan(hotdogs) after 16+ years, I’m hoping to help anyone who may need pet care watching their family dogs. I really enjoy watching, walking and playing with pets. See you soon! I'm fully retired and spend most of my time at home. I have plenty of free time and I’ve always enjoyed getting out for a dog walk in the early morning and late afternoon. I'm committed to loving care and safety for my clients' pets. I always enjoy long walks with the energetic fast pace Rovers. I'm always cautious to have them on a proper leash and collar or harness during their walks. I take care not to walk dogs when it's too hot and always keep them off of hot sidewalks and pavement. I also allow plenty of couch and TV time for all dogs especially the less active senior dogs. Tell me your dog's needs and habits and I will do my very best to make them feel right at home.
“Tasha was great with my puppy, Indigo! She was very quick to respond to my messages and kept me updated throughout the day. You can definitely tell how much she cares about dogs, which was a great relief to this nervous dog mom. Will definitely use her services again! Thanks so much Tasha!”

“Elisa was absolutely wonderful with our puppy! From the moment we arrived, our pup ran straight into her home without hesitation or barking at all, which immediately showed us how comfortable and safe she felt there. That alone gave us so much peace of mind. Elisa was incredibly kind, accommodating, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. She kept us updated throughout the stay and sent plenty of pictures, which made us feel connected and reassured while we were away. It’s obvious our puppy had an amazing time and was well cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and will definitely be booking with Elisa again. I highly recommend trusting your pup with her, you won’t regret it!”

About: Hi! I’m Siddhi, a responsible and caring pet lover based in Fort Myers. I have experience with both dogs and cats, including my own husky Leo and cat Oliver, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets. I’ve also volunteered with Gulf Coast Humane Society, which gave me experience with different personalities and energy levels. I’m reliable, communicative, and will always treat your pet like my own 🤍 Pet care is already a part of my daily routine since I have both a dog and a cat of my own. I’m used to scheduled walks, feeding times, playtime, and making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. I plan my week around responsibilities, so I always make sure I have dedicated time for walks or drop-ins. Caring for animals isn’t something I squeeze in, it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible, I make sure they’re fed on schedule, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and have fresh water at all times. I also give them lots of attention and affection so they feel comfortable and safe while their owner is away. I keep spaces clean, secure doors and gates, and always prioritize the pet’s safety. I also send regular updates and photos so owners feel at ease.

“We were vacationing in the area for 2 weeks, and were so happy to find Kashmir on Rover, close to our rental house. Our Bria really bonded with her dog, Finn, and had so much fun playing with him. After we'd pick her up from her play date, she would be soooo tired and just rest and sleep. Kashmir seemed to have a flexible schedule and really helped us enjoy our vacation, by helping Bria have fun, too. If we come back to town, we will definitely contact Kashmir, again.”

“Meltem is a fanstastic dog sitter and took great care of our teenage poodle. He is full of energy but she handled it very professionally. She is a very friendly person and her home is super clean and nice. I would recommend her anytime and we love to use her services in the future”

We left our two cavachons with Vetra for doggy day care and she was so wonderful to them! They loved spending time with her at her lovely home. She took great care of them and treated them like they were her own! It was a great experience and Vetra was also really good at communicating with me. Highly recommend!!
Keagan hosted my dog for doggy daycare and he had a blast playing with Kona… Keagan was an amazing communicator and super friendly when dropping off and picking up my baby. It can be hard to drop your pup off to a stranger but Keagan made it easy to feel comfortable leaving him with her for the day while I worked. So thankful to her for welcoming him into her home for the day :))

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your McGregor commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
