Let me spoil your fur baby!
I’m a retired registered nurse and a devoted dog lover who understands that pets are family. I have had dachshunds my entire life and recently lost my beloved doxie of 15 years. Whether you’re heading out of town and looking for a safe, loving place for your dog to stay, or you are going away for the day and just need some doggy daycare, I’m here to make sure your pup feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for. I provide boarding and daycare in my home, where your dog will be treated like part of the family. They won’t be left alone for long periods and will receive plenty of love, supervision, and personal attention. I create a calm, cozy environment so your dog can relax and feel at home. I’m happy to follow your specific instructions regarding feeding schedules, exercise, sleeping arrangements, and any special needs. You’ll receive regular updates and photos for peace of mind, and I’m always easy to reach. I truly treat every dog as if they were my own and take pride in providing patient, compassionate care. I have experience with deaf dogs and senior dogs. My home is equipped with several ramps/steps for small or senior dogs with access to the sofa or recliner. I do not have a fenced in yard however I do live in Whiskey Creek with lots of safe, quiet streets for dog walking. I am new to Rover and would love the opportunity to care for your furry family member!

Amazing! I think Smokey didn't want to come home with me, LOL. Vetra is such a blessing for our disabled cat who hasn't been boarded before. During the meet & greet, Smokey was comfortable with Vetra & her place right away. I knew that the medical background of Vetra would come in handy: the compassion, expertise in handling medication, caring personality, pleasant personality, excellent communication skills. She's an asset to Rover. Will definitely work with her again & recommend to friends.
We left our two cavachons with Vetra for doggy day care and she was so wonderful to them! They loved spending time with her at her lovely home. She took great care of them and treated them like they were her own! It was a great experience and Vetra was also really good at communicating with me. Highly recommend!!
Vetra is a true dog mom. She was very attentive and he was a very happy puppy when we picked him up. We would definitely recommend her and will look to bring Dusty to her again.
Vetra was amazing with my girls and I highly recommend her! I have already rebooked for a second stay. Vetra kept my girls on their routine and sent me pictures and messages to let me know they were doing well. I was able to fully enjoy my trip knowing that they were being well loved and cared for while I was gone.
Hello Pet Parents! Our dog Buttercup, a 4 year-old Cavichon, adores Vetra. Whenever Vetra arrives our dog is so excited. She is quick to jump into Vetra's lap, eager to be petted - a rare behavior for our high strung little dog. Vetra has been our pet sitter / dog walker / and close friend for years. Vetra is truly the best dog sitter ever. From the very first time she cared for my dog Molli, it was clear how deeply caring and compassionate she is. She treats Molli like she is her own. Vetra goes above and beyond to make sure Molli feels safe, loved, and completely at home. From giving her extra cuddles or dedicating a recliner with a blanket to Molli to lounge on, Vetra handles everything with genuine warmth and dedication. Vetra also spoils Molli and makes her like the princess that she is! I always have total peace of mind knowing Molli is with her. It’s such a relief to leave town and not worry for a moment because I know Molli is being well cared for. I can’t recommend Vetra highly enough — any dog would be lucky to spend time with her!

When your pet stays with me, they’ll be welcomed into a warm, safe, and comfortable home where they can relax. If they prefer snuggling on the couch, playtime or a walk in the neighborhood, I make sure they feel secure, loved, and happily engaged throughout their stay.
