I’m a retired registered nurse and a devoted dog lover who understands that pets are family. I have had dachshunds my entire life and recently lost my beloved doxie of 15 years. Whether you’re heading out of town and looking for a safe, loving place for your dog to stay, or you are going away for the day and just need some doggy daycare, I’m here to make sure your pup feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for. I provide boarding and daycare in my home, where your dog will be treated like part of the family. They won’t be left alone for long periods and will receive plenty of love, supervision, and personal attention. I create a calm, cozy environment so your dog can relax and feel at home. I’m happy to follow your specific instructions regarding feeding schedules, exercise, sleeping arrangements, and any special needs. You’ll receive regular updates and photos for peace of mind, and I’m always easy to reach. I truly treat every dog as if they were my own and take pride in providing patient, compassionate care. I have experience with deaf dogs and senior dogs. My home is equipped with several ramps/steps for small or senior dogs with access to the sofa or recliner. I do not have a fenced in yard however I do live in Whiskey Creek with lots of safe, quiet streets for dog walking. I would love the opportunity to care for your furry family member!

My dog Lily is so well cared for by Vetra!!
Vetra is 5 stars! I can’t say enough about her care during Bo’s first doggy daycare. She sent a picture and I knew immediately he was happy and doing great. She held him for 30 minutes to calm him, pottied him several times and encouraged him to eat during his stay. He was very calm when I picked him up from daycare showing no signs of anxiety or upset. Vetra provided a wonderful, caring environment for Bo. Thank you Vetra! We are booking again!
First time using a dog sitter and I couldn’t have asked for better. Vetra is warm and caring, I had no worries once I stepped into her home that my baby would be well taken care of. Definitely recommend.
Vetra was so good with my dog. She stayed over July 4 and there are a bunch of fireworks which my dog hates and Vetra did her best to comfort Lily. We’ll definitely be using Vetra again.
