I currently care for my energetic 2-year-old dog, Aspen, previously raised a family dog from puppyhood through their senior years, and fostered to own two cats. I’m comfortable caring for both young, high-energy dogs and older dogs who need a slower pace and extra attention. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, sticking to a familiar routine, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’m currently on paternity leave until the fall, so I have open availability and a flexible schedule to provide reliable care throughout the day. I'm available throughout the week so your fur baby will get lots of attention. I’m also available most weekends to pet sit as well! I have a big open yard perfect for your baby to run around in. About: I understand animal behaviors and aspire to be a trainer eventually. While working in a boarding facility I noticed the dogs were not happy, uneasy and confused. Some wouldn't eat for days, some wouldn't go potty outside, and most would desperately look for their owners during our walks. And don't even get me started on how disarrayed the cats were. From that experience I knew I wanted to encourage pet owners if they must leave their pets, leave them at home, or in a homely environment, where they can be undividedly attended to, loved and cared for. I am a stay-at-home mother/wife, writer, artist, and animal lover with ample flexibility throughout the week. I like to plan my days at least 24 hours in advance to ensure efficiency in all my duties. Nature, nurture, and animals are part of my purpose for living I believe. Therefore, their wellbeing is what I care about. I am disciplined, forthcoming and honest, and enjoy interacting with others of similar character. Even though I play heavily with animals when they want to play with me, I also create an atmosphere of mutual respect and order, usually upon 1st introduction. About: I am the one who all of my friends ask to pet sit! Because I love them and spoil them like they are my own!!!!! I work from home so i would like to add some dog walking and pet sitting into my schedule -the house needs some furry friends. I prefer to care for the pet in their environment-its less stressful for the pet. Once the pet is familiar with me then maybe that would change. I do live in an apt and do not have a yard. However there is a pet play area in our complex and plenty of walking paths.
