About: Hi! My name is Sarah and I am the (very) proud owner of a rescue named Benji! He's the love of my life and we are always looking for other dog friends to spend our time with! My experience with dogs is extensive as I grew up with a German Shepard, taking on full responsibility with him as a teenager. I have dog sat for several families for vacations and weekends and am comfortable with all breeds, and have been sitting for Rover since 2016. I know that dogs are part of your family and will always treat them as such. I have experience with giving medication (even to dogs who don't want it!) as well as baths and providing comfort to anxious or nervous dogs. I have had a lot of experience with sitting a variety of dogs with many different personalities through Rover. I am a very patient person (I am a teacher) and am good with dogs who are shy or cautious.

About: I have been pet owners for years & there’s nothing I love more than spending time with animals. I love to take walks to the dog park & have a good game of fetch. I also take pictures of pets that I taken care of before so let me know if that’s something you would like. I currently work from home so I spend all day with my pets. My job lets me be able to still take my dog on multiple walks a day, have play time, go to the park & more. The play area is fenced in, I can easily crate your dog if needed. In my home I can provide everything your pet needs like if it was their own home and vice versa.

About: I grew up in a pet loving household with cats, dogs and the occasional hamster or two. My husband and I now have a sassy 13 year old calico named Mittens and our newest addition is a rescue puppy called Leia. We also recently had to say goodbye to our senior dog Arlie. I have plenty of experience with dogs and cats throughout their life stages and changing needs. I work for myself so my schedule is very flexible. Afternoons specifically I am usually wide open and love getting a good walk in with a pup! My weekends tend to be very flexible as well. I treat your pets as I do my own with lots of care, attention and love. After a life spent around pets I'm very good at reading their emotions and will do my best to have a fun and safe time together.

About: Hi my name is Joseph! I grew up in a veterinary hospital being surrounded by all breeds and sizes of cats and dogs. I have 7+ years of pet sitting experience for NC State Vet Students and Faculty and currently work for a dog boarding and daycare facility in the Noda area. My background has given me hands-on experience with feeding, exercise, enrichment, and providing attentive compassionate care for every pet. I’m currently working Monday - Friday between 7am-11am (break) 2:30-7pm. On Saturday/Sunday the hours move around alittle but I remain to have a 3-4 hour mid day break for the opportunity to have midday checkups/care. My usual Check-in times when pet sitting have been 10-30 minutes before 6:30-7, 20-40 minutes between 11:30-2, and 20-30 minutes after 7:30. Depending on age, temper and health of the dog the visits can be rearranged for later or earlier visits if needed. With the circumstances of my apartment complex, I do in-house visit of my client instead of having the dog at my home. When arriving at my clients home, I like to first take the dog outside and make sure they use the bathroom. I will update the owner immediately if I see any issues with the pets stool (ie. Blood, Diarrhea, etc). After I like to feed depending on instructed time, or if no meal/ walk the dog around the owners yard or complex if possible. Before leaving I always make sure there is plenty of water and that at least one happy photo. Willing to administer medications in pill form. Also, will always follow clients instructions to a avoid any confusion or accidents.

I was the team lead overseeing operations at a dog care facility for two and a half years, where I worked firsthand with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperments in group play, one on one enrichment, and individual training sessions. I specialize in caring for reactive and behaviorally challenged dogs, particularly rescues. I am capable of administering medication in any oral fashion including gentle pilling, as well as supportive training, senior care, and providing baths (including curly fur types) and nail trims. I have a varied job schedule that provides sporadic extended free time, especially during the summer. I accept pet care clients based on my availability, so I am available for week-of bookings and advanced bookings. When visiting pets, I recognize that I am in their home and act accordingly. Prior to a visit, I make every effort to understand your pet's daily routine so that I can provide a stable, familiar routine while visiting. Additionally, I make bonding a top priority, and take time to get to know each pet I work with so that I can provide individualized care and work to become a trusted person on their terms.

About: I’ve been taking care of both cats and dogs since I was 10! I’ve had both cats and dogs throughout their lifetime but unfortunately a pet of my own is not conducive to my current lifestyle, which is why I came to Rover to hang out with your amazing pets! I am extremely reliable for walking, feeding, exercising, or anything else your furry friend may need! I am new to the Charlotte area and hoping to get a dog of my own in the future. I currently have a lot of free time and would love to explore the city with a furry friend! I am willing to care for pets in their everyday home and fulfill housekeeping/other needs that may be necessary. I am also extremely experienced with houseplants and available to care for plants while pet sitting in-home.

About: I have been around dogs my entire life and grew up with two family dogs, giving me years of hands on experience with daily care, including walking, feeding, and playtime. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have pet sat for friends and helped care for their dogs while they were away. Pet care fits well into my daily routine. I work fully remote, which gives me flexibility throughout the day to take dogs on walks, provide drop in visits, and give them the attention they need. I also enjoy going on walks and runs as part of my own routine, so staying active with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is always providing a safe environment. I live in an apartment community with a fenced-in dog park, which provides a secure space for dogs to get exercise and enjoy time outdoors while being closely supervised. I am attentive to each pet’s routine and needs, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions provided by the owner.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life. My parents have had four golden retrievers since I was a child, and my sister’s had a German Shepherd for the past six years. I’ve pet sat for friends and family for years, and this year alone I’ve watched my neighbors’ dogs regularly and I’m currently caring for a friend’s dogs right now. I’ve also been watching cats for the past year and live with a Maine Coon, so I’m just as comfortable with cat care. I’m comfortable with big and small breeds, high-energy and laid-back temperaments, and I treat every pet like it’s my own - feeding, walking, playtime, and lots of attention included. I work remotely full-time, which means I’m home throughout the day and able to check in during lunch breaks, in addition to evenings and weekends. This flexibility lets me give pets consistent attention and stick to their routine, whether that’s a midday walk, feeding schedule, or just companionship throughout the day. I’m also available for overnight stays. I don’t have a yard, but I’m happy to take dogs on regular walks to make sure they get exercise and outdoor time throughout the day.

About: I have 19 years experience owning cats and 5 years experience caring for dogs. A lifelong animal lover I have been pet sitting for many years. It is the perfect job where you get all the fun of having a pet with none of the financial responsibility. My family of four in total owns 7 cats and one dog and I love getting to hangout with and watch my fur nieces and nephews. I work a regular 8-5 in the office in the University City area Monday- Thursday, and remotely in the Optimist Park area on Fridays. Happy to drop by mornings and evenings anywhere and afternoons in the University City area I always make sure to respect the animals and their space.
