I will take care of your fur baby as if they were my own. I available 3x a day for your pet on weekdays and depending on the week I will be available on weekends. I’m pretty flexible with times you need me to visit your pet. I will treat your pet as if they were my own. Ill will give plenty of play time, exercise, feeding, watering, and monitor your pet.
“Thank you, Mary for everything. I appreciate it. Yeah she could just leave those collars on. Makes things a little bit easier and it’s all right that she didn’t eat. She’ll just eat when I get home. I appreciate everything you’ve done. I’m happy that she was excited at first and eventually calm down and yes, there was a situation with skateboards the last time I took her down to the end of Philemon towards 36th St. and it scared the crap out of her so now I have to work on inch and her down there again so I am I know what you’re talking about. Yeah she’ll get to a certain point and wanna come home and that’s fine. That’s fine when when she’s with you again I appreciate it and thank you so much and now you didn’t need to put the water in especially if like you said she drank a sufficient amount so I will see you while she will see you tomorrow lol thank you so much.”

I am able to take care of pretty much all their essential needs. I can also provide playtime for pets under my supervision. I ensure that they are in a safe space and away from any hazards. I'm good at providing updates, with pictures included, so you know that your pet is doing well while you are away! I have a somewhat flexible schedule. I'm not too busy during the week, so my availability to provide care for pets have been pretty good. I'm very attentive when it comes to pets. You can rest assured that your furry friend will have a safe environment to running around and play in. Multiple pets that engage in playtime with each other will be supervised while under my care to mitigate any aggression that may come up during this activity.
“Rachel was on time and great at communicating! It was so comforting knowing that she was there to give Gus the attention he needed while I was out of town!”

About: I have been pet owners for years & there’s nothing I love more than spending time with animals. I love to take walks to the dog park & have a good game of fetch. I also take pictures of pets that I taken care of before so let me know if that’s something you would like. I currently work from home so I spend all day with my pets. My job lets me be able to still take my dog on multiple walks a day, have play time, go to the park & more. The play area is fenced in, I can easily crate your dog if needed. In my home I can provide everything your pet needs like if it was their own home and vice versa.
“Alix was amazing! Finny absolutely loved Alix! Alix was always on time everyday to pickup Finny and let him out. She brought him all over town on his daily walks which he loves. I would highly recommend recommend Alix for any Rover service! We will absolutely be booking Alix again.”

“I had such a great experience! One of my dogs is usually very shy around new people, but she was so gentle and patient with her. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy dog walker, and I plan on reaching out again if I need help in the future!”

“Lindsey was phenomenal for our overactive 2 year old lab. She is an animal lover and it was evident whenever we came home from work to our pup. Definitely the best of the many rovers we have used. He was always very calm and well tired out from her visits. Our initial visit left me at ease. She is a phenomenal human, super flexible, and will love your pup like her own. Sadly moved out of the area but would recommend to anyone in the region!”

“Rachel is absolutely amazing!!! she's sent numerous pictures and gave Emma tons of love. We are looking forward to working with her again. We highly recommended Rachel”

About: I had my baby for 10 and a half years and still miss him every day. I’m not ready to get another baby, but I’d love to provide trustworthy care for yours. I work from home, so I can do potty breaks and give medications as needed. Without any other pets or people in my home, I can provide all the needs of your dog(s). I work from home during the week, so I’ll be able to work around needed schedules. It is possible for me to be gone on certain days for 4-8 hours. I’ll do my best to take care of your baby / babies as you would. I had my 125 pound baby in an apartment, so I understand the need for multiple walks and finding places they can run. Pets are welcome on any furniture in my home.

About: I have cared for family, friends, and neighbors' pets since childhood. I have experience walking, feeding, training, and giving lots of love to dogs and cats. I am responsible, communicative, and mindful of your pet's needs. I like to be active, so there can be lots of walks in your pet's future, but I also enjoy cuddling up on the couch if your pet prefers to lounge around. I work remotely and full-time, with fairly flexible hours (occasionally going into a coworking space when not pet-sitting). I am in Charlotte most weekends as well. I enjoy taking short breaks throughout the day to walk, play, or cuddle with any fur baby. I live in a townhome community with a green space and next to a neighborhood with great walking paths. Overall it is a very pet friendly area. I live in a three bedroom/three story townhome with room for your pet to stretch out and relax in a calm and peaceful environment. My unit is very well sound-proofed, with no excessive noise from neighbors or other pets. I am happy to send pictures of the green space and townhome upon request.
About: Please give me (new to this app walker) a chance. Allow me the opportunity to earn you & your pets trust, and become your favorite sitter :)! This is helping me pay for college, and continue pursuing my degree. I have had a lot of experience walking, feeding, playing, and sitting dogs since I was young. I’ve taken care of my own dog since I was 11 along with the help of my parents. My grandma has also had a household of 6 dogs and I used to help take care of them as well since I was 10. Along with my mom’s military friends would have us taking care of their dogs when they went away for a month or two since I was 13. I love all animals, and I miss taking care of them! I do attend Penn State, but while I am back from college for summer break, I want to be able to work and do something I love. Some weeks I may be on trips with my family but most of the time I am flexible to help. I will make sure I am attentive to the pet, feed them if needed, walk them if needed, and play with them if needed. Also making sure I send follow up photos and texts so the owner can feel at ease as well.

“Tre has become like family. He is always available to take care of Dax when I need and treats him as if he was his own. He’s very personable, responsible, reliable, accommodating to my crazy schedule and he will definitely continue to be my go-to.”

“Hi Anthony-I appreciated you being available in short notice. And I’m grateful for the time you gave on Friday. I am going to cancel the bookings for this week though because the extra dog fee was more than I am used to paying for a 30 minute walk. It has nothing to do with you - you were great.”

About: I am so excited to help out with your fur babies! I grew up on a farm and both of my parents are veterinarians so our pets were always the most important part of our day! I have experience taking care of small, medium, and large (and extra large) dog breeds. I currently have my own 4 year old golden retriever and a 6 year old kitty. They are family to me! I am a full time PA student. I am mostly available in the afternoons and on weekends. Everyday is a little different with varying availability. On typical week I am free Friday-Sunday all day, Monday-Thursday in the evenings. I will mainly be available for drop-ins and dog walks. I have a dog and a cat at home so I will not be housing any pets in my home. I am very clean, respectful and honest!
“Kelly is exactly what we hoped to find when looking for a dog sitter. She is responsible, good communicator, keeping us in loop with timing/coming and goings, sending pics and letting us know how things are going when we are away, good with our fur babies, and kept our home in good shape while we were gone. Kelly is awesome!”

About: My family got our first dog when I was a sophomore in high school. She was a huge, people-loving, dog-hating Irish wolfhound mix. Daisy was super reactive when we went on walks, but she definitely got better over time, with lots of training and treats. She was 7 when we adopted her, and lived until she was 12, and during those years I helped my family take care of her: walking, playing, feeding, and eventually medicating when she got cancer. I currently have two 17-year-old cats, who I got for Christmas when I was in the first grade. I take care of them daily, feeding them, giving them arthritis medication, emptying their litter box, and just loving on them in general. I love animals and have always wanted to work with them more! I'm available M, W, F, & Sa in the morning or after 12pm, T & Th in the morning or after 3:45pm, and Su after 12pm I can provide medications, regular walking, the cleaning up of waste, and general love and affection to your fur baby! I have experience with elderly dogs and cats, and have pet-sit regularly for a friend of mine with a cat
Double Oaks dog parents share their Rover experiences
Amanda is great and super communicative. She was also able to accommodate a last minute walk for Finley which gave me peace of mind while I was away from home. I have already booked my next visit with Amanda and will definitely be using her services in the future!

To say that Rachel will go the extra mile is an understatement! We left and forgot to double check our key box to make sure she could get in. She troubleshot the situation and made sure Freya & Zeke were cared for. She gave them lots of love and extra long walks. So thankful for her! Highly recommend Rachel!!

Tracy is awesome! We connected super quickly as we needed a sitter since my boyfriend recently started working a new job! Within a day, Tracy had offered to meet our puppy so we could all get acquainted, and showed up to walk her just a few days later. She also leaves amazing notes every walk so we know what our girl was up to (which is amazing) and sends us pics/videos! I would highly recommend Tracy!!! :)

Megan is the best walker Bubba has ever had on Rover. She keeps an eye open for any possible issues and keeps communication channels open. I feel very relaxed knowing Bubba is in great hands. He comes home VERY happy as if he needs to tell me about how much fun he had. Bubba anc I highly recommend Megan
